Very dissapointed as a regular here over the last year always enjoyed the SUPERB service provided by all the staff here however totally at a loss as to the company's decision to not only shrink there Small and large Rolls but last visit on buying my breakfast Roll (warm sausages in 2) I questioned the price and it was confirmed to me that my roll had gone up £1.05 in price which in itself was quite an increase but double wammy as the size of roll had clearly shrunk in size but here's the thing I usually take a large roll with chicken mayo and tomato for lunch at the same time this roll was STILL THE SAME PRICE so how can a small roll with literally hardly anything init COST MORE than a large which was always generously filled with fillings even a Prawn Roll large in chiller is cheaper. When i asked the lovely ladies I was politely told sausages and bacon had gone up. I did email the office but had no reply so here we are . Just wondered how many of you put there had notice the rolls shrinking and this price difference. I kno a few that stop buying sausage rolls after a huge increase nut there's justification for increases yes but I also feel there's taking the mic !

Just popped in for some takeaway lunch. I ordered a (warm) sausage roll, a pre made cheese and pickle roll, and a bottle of Ribena. It came to £9.50... No wonder high street shops are dying out, I will never go in there again.

Scone served on a paper bag, no plates, and tea was stewed when it arrived. The visit before it was an apple doughnut on a bag. Takeaway items in a bag, yes, but eat in? Not impressed.

New shop on London Road in Ore. Great coffee, friendly staff. The place is clean, modern and what they produce is good and fresh - just not very imaginative. The bog standard range of pastries and traditional loaves from thirty years ago, so don't expect any olive, chilli, cheese, walnut bread options etc. This just seems odd. You have to be early to get that stuff from the excellent Co-Op bakery opposite before it sells out. We really want this place to succeed, but they need to up their game and get the pastries and bread out of public coughing range / dog nose level or into bags.

just been in to hawkhurst shop to buy some croissants for breakfast to be met by " nope all gone" no attempt at alternative or we are waiting for more. And then given wrong loaf. it was busy with builders from local waitrose fit out so perhaps they were a bit pushed.

The Coffee Pod is one of several coffee stops on Hastings seafront open from 8am (see also “Goat Ledge Café” and “Starsky and Hatch”) but has the disadvantage that it is exposed to the elements (wind, rain etc). After seeing a lot of good reviews online decided I must try and visit. In the end we visited twice: once of an early morning coffee, then again for an ice-cream one afternoon. The Coffee Pod seems to be part of Goodmans Barbers and Coffee Spot which is situated in The Courtyard nearby and also on St Leonard’s seafront.

We had a great Sunday family lunch for 10 once again at the Bull. Some of our party are vegetarian and they were catered for by Jason the chef who came out to our table to discuss what was available as one of our group also has an allergy to peppers, he talked through the ingredients that were used & offered to make a vegetarian lasagne which two of the group had & enjoyed very much, the other vegetarian had the veggie burger which was much liked. The rest of our party all had the traditional Sunday roast. The desserts were enjoyed by everybody. Jason returned to check that everything was OK & to check that we all enjoyed our food. This was the first visit by four of our party & like the rest of the group will definitely return as they would like to try the pies that were recommended by others in our group. The staff were friendly & we didn’t feel rushed at any stage. The prices reasonable & Peter was happy for each couple to pay their own bill. There is plenty of car parking at the rear of the pub & also a rear entrance with a ramp. This is our go to place to visit with family, friends & neighbours and happens to be our closest pub & we will continue to visit. It has a very good choice of good pub food, has nice staff, clean toilets & parking. Thanks you to you all.

1 of the very few fairly priced cafes left in Hastings - very good service and lovely Freshly made brekky. GREAT VALUE !! (My only improvement would be to buy a better quality sausage) But it doesn't stop me coming ! Keep up the hard work - as a former Cafe owner my self it's great to see. X

Popped in for a coffee break but was so disappointed with the experience . Bought an apple donut and a cappuccino but was given the donut on a paper bag? I asked for a plate but was simply told 'we don't have plates to give'? So had to eat a very messy donut on a PAPER BAG which I had no idea where's it's been. Secondly the air conditioning wasn't working and it was so warm, the staff were sweating. Not the experience I was expecting.
