Busy and vibrant pub with happy and welcoming staff. Good variety of dishes - predominantly pub classics along with 3 pies and a specials board.

Favourite café in the area with delicious homemade soups and all kinds of delicious sandwiches and salads. Very good value!

Good food, excellent service and calm atmosphere.

Had to wait over an hour and a half for my order and then they blamed the drivers. Will not be using them again.

Fantastic night spent with my dear friend for a catch-up over dinner. Great food, prices, and service. The atmosphere felt bubbling and full-on, with the psychology bar crawl & and football. I will definitely recommend the Gabbot in the future.

This location is consistently in a state of disarray. Tables are never cleared, bathrooms are filthy, bins full, and dishes not clean. It is obvious that the store is understaffed as there’s often a line to the door and maintenance is practically non-existent. The baristas are nice despite working in this stressful environment, hence the second star, otherwise this would be a one-star location. I used to come here regularly with my partner but will not be back. I hope Costa will see this review and give this store the attention it so desperately needs.

Hadn't been here for years, but popped in for lunch with the family. Thought the pub was lovely and the decor was fab. The staff were so nice and friendly and look forward to returning very soon.

Had really nice Katsu Chicken Curry today with a very generous large portion. Service was wonderful despite it being so very busy. Thank you.

We had a lovely time, the staff were very helpful and attentive (we were a party of 12). Two small things made the mark down from 5 stars to 4. Five items on the menu were already sold out (at 1pm) and the food came out bit by bit with one person not getting theirs until some of others had actually finished their meal. Also the 2 children's meals were nearly the last to come out - it would be good to get the kids eating first, or the adults can't concentrate on their food. Otherwise we had a lovely time and we will be visiting again.

Food just sat there waiting to be served whilst they took an age to make a drink. Awful service No urgency, just really poor. Drink tasted horrible also to make matters worse. Lots of choice in Guildford just avoid .

Nice the food good quality only complain about one of think staff smoked cigarette front if the van and next to me I don't like smoke cigarettes and also smell sorry but this is my opinion

Came in with my family,wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was,food was delicious,portions were huge,great service, will definitely be back in future.
