Delicious and independent veggy and vegan cafe in the heart of Guildford run by very friendly owners. Just what Guildford needs. To start I had yummy homemade mushroom and leek quiche accompanied with fresh tasty mix of different salads. I stayed to write my Christmas cards being so behind with Christmas, they didn’t mind at all. All that Christmas card writing made me hungry, good excuse to enjoy a lunch of mushroom stroganoff, salads , followed by Fruit Crumble and cream. Yum. Set in a lovely, atmospheric, historic building. Good value too.

Best breakfast in Guildford and very polite staff and all cooked fresh will be going back very soon highly recommend to anyone go check it out grate value for money

There are a lot of lovely traditional pubs in Guildford but what makes this one special is that it serves the biggest pizza you are ever to likely see in a pub! While the scale of pizza is impressive, they also taste superb with thin crunchy bases, as if you were in Italy. Theres also a really good selection of toppings. The pub is also dog friendly and has a really nice atmosphere. The building has an open fire and a good selection of beer too as any good pub would. Booking a table here is a good idea as it can get busy but understandable seeing as its so popular!

Great friendly service, plus a good conversation on coffee blends used. Then added a BLT. Well absolutely WOW great taste and texture. Will become a regular

So happy to see our most favourite restaurant in Guildford is open for business again after a long… long… LOOONG renovation. The food and the service are as wonderful as always. So glad to see our favourites on the menu are still available. The redesign looks sharp too. Would happily return as we have countless times over the years.

Great pizzas. They're huge - be prepared to share. Get a starter pizza and then a large to share per 2 adults. I prefer the simpler ones - the ham and mushroom is divine - my wife prefers the Moroccan lamb. We took some American friends and they loved it. The manager/owner came out to say hello too, always a nice touch.

Great pizza again. So tasty with thin crispy base. Plenty of toppings. Only waited 10 mins as a walk in. Well worth trying this instead of the usual chain pizza places

It's been a while since I've visited, but the food is still as good as it was. Really nice full English, mug of tea and a round of toast, all hot, freshly cooked and V tasty. Enjoyed it V V much. Well done team.

Good place to get quick spicy food

The cafe is inside the Baker and Stonehouse store in Guildford. The staff are friendly, food is delicious and there's a really nice atmosphere. Just be careful not to sit at the store furniture displays by accident...!

Un montón de cosas aquí es amateur, pero bastante bueno. Es razonable, teniendo en cuenta los actores, etc. caros no son pagados, sólo puedo asumir que la cabeza no son baratos. Bonito y pequeño bar - café decente y también dejan tomar su vino en el teatro que es civilizado. Si necesita aparcar prueba el aparcamiento en el pub George abbot - mucho más fácil para aparcar y más cerca.

It is a great pub. So much to offer. A bit of a gastro when hungry, a place to grab a space and some wine when you need that moment. A meeting pub, a place to descend on with friends. It can be whatever you want it to be.
