Lovely little coffee shop inside the upmarket furniture store. Reluctant to give a good review, as this is a favourite bolt hole!! Always been happy with coming here and they even accept doggos! 😊

Really great coffee shop, uniquely located in a furniture shop. We had a chai latte, flat white and a cinnamon bun - all absolutely delicious! Recommend a visit. Worth noting that it doesn’t do full meals/breakfasts though.

Given it's in an expensive furniture shop you can expect the cafe to mirror that in the food and drink, but fortunately that also means they have great seating! Not enough sockets for laptops, but a good place to work or think or read or rest for a while.

Lovely place to have a coffee although in a strange area of Guildford. The coffee was great and the food was decent too. The smoothies were refreshing, would recommend.

A secret gem hidden inside Barker & Stonehouse. The coffee is excellent, as are the snacks and treats, The customer service has always been excellent and delivered with warmth and a smile. One of the most relaxing coffee houses around.

Lovely place to have a well made coffee and tasty fresh food. Manager Dean is an absolute delight and helps makes it a very welcoming place to relax and have a break.

This is such a lovely coffee shop, the food is tasty and fresh and the coffee is delicious! I love stopping here after checking out the lovely furniture at Barker & Stonehouse. The staff are lovely and helpful too and a bonus that I can pop in with the dog after a nice walk around the Park.

Hands down some of the best coffee I’ve tried, good quality beans and worth the artisan price. Some lovely cakes, bakes and lunch foods with vegan and gluten free options. The kids love the milkshakes here, and the selection of juices and smoothies. One of our favourite places to go for a family coffee trip, the staff are always friendly and accommodating, some times it can be a little on the slow side - but great things are worth waiting for. I do hope one day that The Queensbury do start a venture a little closer to town, so that it’s not just a weekends and holidays visit for us, but until then we’ll pop in for our weekend treat.

Iced latte is good, food selection is good too.

Flat white was not a flat white. It was bitter and tasted like poison! The cup was brimmed - why they didn’t think to put in less water or use a larger cup is beyond me. The waitresses and barista were very slow to react to customers and had an ambivalent attitude. Barista spilt coffee, waitress cleaned it up and then spilt it again when she brought it over without clearing up the mess. It was a CBA attitude.

Nice coffee. It doesn’t have the bitterness of the coffee you usually get in Starbucks. And decent price as well. The environment is great. I like the idea of having a cozy coffee shop inside a furniture store.

Really enjoyed our visit to this coffee shop at the top of the furniture store. I think the staff could learn a bit more about customer service, completely failing to make eye contact as I arrived at the counter until they had finished tidying up and then sloshing a good amount of my son's coffee into the saucer without even offering an extra napkin to soak it up but the cakes were amazing so would definitely go again.

You must go to The Queensbury Coffee House if only to enjoy the best milkshakes on this planet made with passion and a smile!

Ridiculous size for a ‘regular’ coffee. £2.80 for a tiny, like a babycino/espresso cup size and the takeaway cup was not even full, about an inch of space from the rim. Had to ask for sugar as it was kept behind the counter - they acted like I was odd for asking, and then had to ask for a stirrer which was plonked on the counter. Nice coffee but Starbucks and Costa won’t be worried about them. Very expensive and wouldn’t recommend, which is a shame as we spent ages in the furniture store.

Gold Goat roasted coffee beans! Fantastic full bodied earthy flavour. I'm a coffee connoisseur and Gold Goat fitted the bill nicely. Thank you Queensbury Coffee House for a pleasant experience.

For those who cherish a genuine crafted roast that has a warm mouth feel, earthy with indulgently butterscotch and hazelnut hints, go for a delightful americano. The espresso does not disappoint. The condensed coffee is full of flavour and quite addictive. The overall atmosphere is chic and satisfying with its vaulted ceilings, brick walls and giant window views. Certainly worth the stop.

Adam and Ashley are masters at what they do.There is something magical the way they make the coffee always on point 10/10 for me.Me and my mates specially travel from woking just to have their coffee. Customer service also always on point. Queensberry coffee house is definitely by far the best coffee place in Guildford.

Enjoyable location and experience and serving very morish gold goat coffee

Great place for a nice relaxing cup, easy access and parking (free). great lad served us today, done a splendid job on the Latte's, the crema was perfect, the beans roasted well, balance of coffee and milk was great. Top lad thank you. one of the best places in Guildford for coffee, if not the best.

Quite possibly one of the loveliest Cafés I've ever spent time in. The staff are polite, yet laid back, the cleanliness is top notch and there's a cosy kind of chair for every need! This isn't just a café for furniture buyers, it's a modern, inviting cafe for all. Normal café prices, too!

My first choice smoothie wasn't available. The lady recommended me hello vera and it was yummy. Polite staff. Friendly service. Free parking. Coffee shop within home store. Do give them a try. You won't be disappointed

Tables crammed in, no gloves, masks or visors being worn by staff. Everyone sitting on other people’s laps, no effort has been made whatsoever unlike most other venues. Hand sanitiser was the sum total of effort. Food mediocre.

Nice comfy café with very decent coffee - once you get past the fact that it is a café in the far corner of a warheouse-like furniture store, the place is spacious, comfortable, and does very good coffee. The cakes and snacks are good too. great place to meet, and can accommodate reasonable groups.

I absolutely love this place! Coffee is so good,great selection of rolls and sandwiches should you wish to eat something,cakes and sweets. Staff always friendly and smiley.In addition that smell of wood coming from the furniture is so nice!

This cafe had one of the best coffees I've tasted in Guildford. Worthy of five stars by itself, but let down by the cake and pop music. I tried their passion fruit cake and sadly could taste no hint of passion fruit, and the cake itself was dry with sickly sweet filling and topping. I would expect better for £3.75 paid in advance. I prefer not to have the pop music which I found over-loud and intrusive. All the same the coffee was brilliant.

Handy cafe positioned in the top corner of a destination furniture store. Hard to believe that the volume of punters sauntering around even justifies such an asset but it seemed to be quite popular on the weekday lunchtime that we called in. The busy counter had rather a shortfall of edibles on display, and the greasy, sweaty panini's and sandwiches etc were not all that appealing to be honest. The cake selection looked far more palatable so we tried a slice of caramel and chocolate, and also of toffee apple. Can't say that the young ladies serving were overly dynamic or particularly cheery. The slices of cake were very generous and quite moist. To the extent of being rather sticky, apparently. I had to peel off a paper serviette from the underside of mine, whilst Mr EPR's plate had a fair proportion of my caramel sauce underneath it. Drinkwise, no problems with my latte, but Mrs EPR's chai latte was a thin, watery, lukewarm concoction with most of the flavouring found in unmelted lumps at the bottom of the cup. Must do better. If a loo is required, use the ones further back near the Ariel motorbike on display. The multi-purpose one behind the cafe bears the scars of overuse. Can't say that I'd be beating down the door to visit this place again.

Visited The large Barker & Stonehouse furniture store (next to Guildford Fire Station) and only realised as we wandered around the top (first floor) level that there’s a cafe area tucked away in the far corner overlooking busy A25 at Ladymead. It’s quiet small but on the midweek afternoon we popped in there was plenty of available (and comfortable) seating. Quick service from the friendly staff - orders are taken at the counter and table served. We’d already had lunch and so only had hot drinks but there’s plenty of cake/snack/hot food options available. The only slight negative for me was the overloud music but overall it’s somewhere different from all the soulless chain coffee shops and fits in nicely with the main store and it’s somewhat quirky furniture offerings (“unique blend of home furnishings” is the official line!). Handy free parking is a bonus but access is on one side of the dual carriageway and therefore left hand exit only on departure, which can be a pain if you want to head in the opposite direction!

This is a really nice place to rest while you browse the different styles of furniture in the shop. I also find it unique because of its location, only 20 minutes walking distance from the town centre. They have a good variety of healthy sandwiches, so you get to relax, have a bite to eat, a coffee or fragrant tea from their large tea selection (my favorite is Jasmin), and not worry about the parking, because it’s free.

Great selection of cakes. I had one of the many vegan options and it was the best vegan cake I have ever had! Nice atmosphere, with friendly, efficient service. Would definitely come back.

The coffee shop is inside a furniture store so parking is good. Surroundings are light, stylish and comfortable. Great selection of food. I had a flat bread which was vey good. Cappuccino was very good too. Will definitely use the cafe again even if we are not looking for furniture!

A cafe in a furniture shop. There's a reasonable selection of food - bagels, sandwiches etc - but the service is snail-pace at best. No shortage of staff but they don't seem to be working efficiently. Took 20 minutes to get a sandwich and a sausage roll - it took that long to get them luke warm. Tables took ages to be cleared - and not wiped. Floor could do with a good sweep.

Just sitting here after returning maple bacon waffle. The chef likes food well done (crispy) including my waffle. They were happy to refund without any quibble.

The cafe is situated upstairs tucked in the corner of the furniture shop. The service was quick and the staff were approachable and helpful. There wasn’t much flexibility in menu choice as all of the sandwiches are pre made and presented on the front counter. The bagels seem to be popular and were nice but slightly overpriced. The smoothies were fresh and really nice as they had a choice to pick from. The cafe remains fairly quiet which is good if you want to go to a less stimulating environment. Probably wouldn’t rush back to this cafe due to limited choice and variety.

We visited for a late lunch with my sis and dad. Dad had a flat bread which was loaded with chicken, and veg and apparently very lovely. There was a very good selection of veggie options but I fancied a banana waffle with cream and boy it was good. Washed down with a nice coffee it was a real treat.They don't scrimp on the fillings! Very comfortable surroundings, friendly staff who gave excellent service.

two visits over last couple of weeks, good sandwiches the first time, atrocious selection the second, slow service, could be better.

This is my second visit to the store and coffee shop and I have to admit that I was sorely disappointed with The Queensbury on this occasion. We waited at least 20 minutes for our coffees (not the ones we ordered), a further 10 minutes for our food (again the wrong order), and then another 15 minutes for our cakes (why they couldn’t give us the cakes at the till upon ordering was confusing but they insisted ‘they will bring them over’). It was clearly chaotic with 2 queues forming, one for ordering and another for complaints. The 4 members of staff that were visible were pleasant enough but were overlapping their responsibilities and ultimately confusing each other.

I went in to speak with management about applying for a Position working in the cafe and brought my girlfriend along with me. She decided to order the vegan roll and a Croissant with jam while I was talking and said I was lovley so I got one for myself too and it really was! I also had a latte and was suprised as it came with latte art to top it off, staff were really friendly and the service was excellent 100% would go again.

We are familiar with the Barker and Stonehouse brand and we’re pleased when the SWLondon store opened near Battersea Heliport. We have visited their cafe and been pleased with our selections.

We were walking through an area of Guildford we had never been before, when we saw what looked like a tempting furniture store. It is quite amazing place. Upstairs we found the Queensbury coffee shop. Lovely staff, very friendly, helpful & efficient. A very relaxed atmosphere, spacious seating; clean & tidy. Our coffees were just perfect, & my wife thoroughly enjoyed the cake she chose. Some very extraordinary sandwiches, wraps & other items, attractively displayed. If ever we were visiting this vicinity again we'd make a point of visiting. Appears it may have only been open since October 2017
