Visited after work for dinner with my daughter. The food was delicious, and came out in a timely manner. The elderflower gin spritz was really nice and refreshing. The service was fabulous Yandi was lovely! Will definitely be back.

We hosted our wedding party for almost 60 people here last night and can't thank the team enough. They've been so accommodating through all the planning and couldn't have done more for us on the day, running drinks orders all night, providing loads of amazing food and being super patient with an excitable crowd, and a very overwhelmed and distracted new bride! I'm afraid I didn't get any pictures but the feasting boards were just as fantastic as advertised. We heard so many nice comments about the atmosphere, the service, the decor... everything was just as we'd hoped. Thank you for a perfect evening - we had the best time! ❤️✨️

Megan's is always our fave girl dinner spot and a central location in Guildford so we decided to throw a mini surprise bday dinner for one of our friends and the lovely, stunning Julia helped orchestrate it and made sure we were all in before the birthday girl!! My very first visit to the restaurant on Tuesday May 6th.Extremely high level of customer service. Because of having lost my debit card and was awaiting replacement later in week could only pay cash. Like many establishments nowadays I was advised that restaurant is cashless. However, the manager, without my asking, arranged that I'd be able to pay, exceptionally, with cash. This struck me as being extremely courteous and helpful. Often, sadly, there's no flexibility in such situations currently. For instance, however politely phrased, it seems to be "we don't take cash, very sorry". And that's that! Also, had a very good table with a view of Guildford's Farmers' Market in the high street, enhanced by warm sunshine. All in all, a very pleasant dining experience. Staff were pleasant and helpful too. Very many thanks. Allan

We went in for a quick drink on happy hour today. We were told by the waiter that the frozen rose was on happy hour so we ordered an aperol and frozen rose. We were then charged by another waiter for the full price. After we explained that we were told that it was on happy hour, they still continued to charge us full price as well as a service charge of £2. Very unhappy with the service.

We came with my parents for my graduation dinner and everything was amazing!! Julia was serving us and she was the best, so helpful with our order and throughout our dinner!! Loved it

Good afternoon, I recently had a lunch Megan’s Guildford and were a party of six in total. Its was a celebration moment for my business team!! Four of my team had never been to a Megan’s so it was a first for them!! On arrival having first introduced herself, Mimi found our reservation and then we were escorted to a very nice table by one of her colleagues who later introduced herself as Georgi, who made us feel very comfortable and welcome…. For a few moments we talked about the decor which is so very different with its own unique style which they all loved!! The table service we received thoughout was excellent, timely and we were very well looked after. The detailed knowledge and various explanations of the dishes worked extremely well for the group so we were able to make good choices. The food was really excellent and with the high level service enabled us to have a great time and feel so very comfortable. A big thank you to all your team and I think you will see us again very soon to sample some of the other dishes!! Osman (Ossie)

The atmosphere and food we're both great but the star of the evening was Harshuv, she was so incredibly wonderful and so lovely to talk to - I'd recommend going here if only just to chat with her! Dropped by Megan’s in Guildford recently and had such a great experience. The vibe was cosy, the food was delicious, and the whole place just felt really inviting. Arjitha was amazing, super friendly and made the whole visit even better. You can tell she really cares about what she does. Will definitely be back!

Menu has changed significantly with limited choice and seems to be very expensive for a brunch place, trying to charge Ivy level prices without being anywhere near that standard. The coffee machine wasn’t working so the only coffee option was an Americano. No longer offers basic brunch options like eggs Benedict, all in all a disappointment

We had a wonderful dining experience at Megan’s. The food was excellent, and the service was equally impressive. Our waitress for the evening, Saakshi, was outstanding – attentive, professional, and made us feel very well looked after throughout the night. We highly recommend this venue and look forward to returning soon.

FOOD POISONING, BE WARNED Two of us shared the open chicken kebab, we both got violently ill vomiting and on the toilet for the next two weeks. The below average food wasn’t worth the money or body fatigue, would avoid at all costs.

Megan’s by the Castle is one of the most beautiful, cosy restaurants in town. We frequent it quite a lot due to the friendly staff, delicious food and unique decor. It certainly makes for great photos! Today, we were served by the lovely Chahla who was sweet and helpful. The food was as yummy as always. I enjoyed the chicken grill and my boyfriend had a chicken shish kebab. Our biscoff lattes didn’t taste as nice as normal so I won’t be ordering those again - I believe the syrup’s either changed or expired. Megan’s is a bit pricey which is the only real negative. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful brunch and dinner spot with fantastic service that I’d highly recommend. The added bonus is that it’s dog friendly too so we got to meet the cutest 9.5 week-old golden retriever pup today!

This is a beautifullly decorated restaurant and previously I had a good meal here. However, on my recent visit it was absolutely shambolic. It was not busy but the staff were clueless. I'm sure they're nice people but it was so chaotic. Food and drinks we didn't order were attempted to be put on our table several times then when our food did arrive sadly one of the meant to be hot dishes was stone cold. We did get it knocked off the bill but obviously pretty strange and the prices aren't cheap either - you just expect more value for what you're paying Also there was no hot coffee available I'm guessing their machines had broken. I'm unsure if I would return here.
