Turtle Bay in Guildford

Came for lunch with my daughter. Food was rather spicy. Staff were happy to arrange an alternative, less spicy dish. Great service.

Everything we tried was great! Very nice space and atmosphere!

Also thank you kitchen for absolutely amazing food too🫶🫶🫶 wish I come more often I always forget how absolutely amazing it is!! But… the “original hot pepper sauce” is deadly… it’s been half an hour since I ate and my tongue still hurts🤣🤣🤣 anyway enjoy my review love you guys❤️

Lovely Caribbean feel, lots of space, nice atmosphere, kind and friendly staff. Great tasting food with amazing spices. Some nice veggie options too.

Great place to visit !! So much space that everyone will find the perfect spot. Even very big groups !! We came for dinner with my partner and it was exeptional !!! We had the seafood soulbowl and brown chicken. There were both so flavoursome, spicy and filling. Portions were really good us well and the rice&peas was just fenomenal. We also stayed for few drinks, we were recommended to try the sundowners and o wow the rum sour was soo good. Strong but so easy to drink. All waiters and bartneders were so welcoming and helpful as well. Defnitely recommend and we will be back to try more !!!

I had the pleasure of being served by Ash at Turtle Bay, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Ash was super polite and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without ever rushing us. The service was quick and smooth, and their friendly attitude really added to the overall vibe of the brunch. Definitely made our visit memorable! (He is in the background of the photo).

The restaurant was quiet due to being bank holiday. Aaliyah was very informative and gave us all the information we needed about boozy brunch. The service was good, the restraint was quiet but food was exceptional considering it was only a burger. Would recommend! The service was fast thank you to the server.

Our recent visit was disappointing due to very slow service. We waited 45 minutes for our food. While complimentary drinks were offered, there was still no clear timeline for our meals. To make matters worse, two tables seated after us received their food within 10 minutes, highlighting inconsistent service.

I always book this restaurant for me and my partner as we have always loved the food and service and atmosphere but went in for a Xmas meal and the food was vile and the steak I ordered pink came out and was like the bottom of a leather boot my partners food was horrible to probably won’t be back which is a shame

If I'm being totally honest here and have had some time to think and reflect but I've decided on 3 stars for my experience.. Having never ever heard of this place before attended a staff party and to be honest having to pre order food is not my cup of tea really when looking to eat somewhere. I wanted things plain, yet the rice was spicy still and the service wasn't the best in my opinion. The venue looked run down and slightly dingy with the toilets not up to standard. The portion size wasn't value for money on what was ordered and actually found after paying 40 odd quid was walking out pretty hungry still. I didn't enjoy the desert and it lacked a lot of what I would class as half decent. Drinks were mainly just a cup of ice and very little liquid.. Maybe a slush puppy is better suited for the menu or is it to heavily dilute down? I don't know but I don't really understand what all the rave is as I didn't get that rave feeling.. Well I can say I've given it a go and it's pretty much average without the wow factor. It's not for me and in my opinion I didn't feel it was value for money either.. If work considered returning here.. I will wish them well at the staff party and I'll stay home with a Tesco ready meal as it will be cheaper and more enjoyable for me..
