The best restaurants in Fareham South East

We love coming to Luciano’s and it’s always fantastic every time. The food is authentic and delicious and their menu offers a great choice of traditional Italian dishes. The service from the lovely staff is always first class. So lucky to have this gem of a restaurant on our doorstep!

I have never been more offended in my life than during my visit here. I was shopping for a gift and in my hand I had a gift bag, in the gift bag was a card I choose. I placed a travel mug in the gift bag to check it was the right size gift bag for the item that I was about to purchase from them as well as the card and bag. I was then immediately accosted by a female member of staff on the doors near the entrance who ran over and said “I’ve just seen you put that in your bag I’m going to have to ask you to leave the store immediately”. I stared at her in absolute confusion until it clocked, she thought I was shoplifting! I explained and show her the gift bag and said “I assure you this is not my own personal bag (it was very obviously a gift bag it was shiny and had a label on it!) it’s one of your products I have a card in there and I am using the coffee cup to see if it’s the right size”. She explains it doesn’t matter and that they’ve had incidences of shop lifting earlier in the day and that I needed to leave the store. I told her I was absolutely horrified and truly offended that she thought my placing one of their products into a gift bag which was also there’s was shoplifting. I said to the lady perhaps in the future instead of accusing someone of being a criminal you could offer them a basket if you dislike the use of the gift bag. She said “I apologise if you’ve been offended” but still asked me to leave! I did not get an apology for accusing me of shop lifting, there was no acknowledgment of her error, two other staff members watched on and offered no apology for this treatment as I walked out the door. I was mortified and left immediately, it ruined my day I felt so anxious for the rest of the afternoon. Now my hurt has turned to anger at this horrendous customer service. I understand it’s a tricky time of year for shoplifting but to accuse someone of stealing by placing an item into a gift bag to check it’s the right size is absolutely unacceptable. I will never be going here again after this horrific treatment and neither will any of my friends and family.

The ONLY thing that ever lets this place down is the toilets. The stench in both toilets every single time is stomach churning, noattwd what time of day. Seriously in need of (working or stronger) air freshner things in there. 🤢🤢🤢

Good food and friendly staff. Had a fairly long wait due to shear volume of customers.! Senior citizen meals available. Will go there again.

Ordered recently, but because UBER took forever to collect it the food arrived cold after a long wait for delivery after the tracking said food was cooked. Called restaurant whilst waiting and asked to confirm food would be fresh and hot and they said it would be, but UBER took their sweet time. Called them again after delivery to say food was not hot and to their credit they apologised and sent the whole order again free of charge. I mostly blame UBER for the problem, but Papa John's shouldn't cook the food until a driver has accepted collection. Because they sent food again and it was hot the second time and it was tasty it worked out in the end. Maybe use another delivery partner though?

No notice of not getting the food I ordered until my delivery arrived. Would have been nice to have known in advance or be offered an alternative.

Been using this bar for a while,always get great service from all the bar staff especially Layla who always has a smile when we come in… I would happily recommend this pub as it has a happy atmosphere and is a very nice place for a drink and a catch up with friends

I recently attended a Mother and Baby coffee and cake meet here, organised with the managers approval, and had such a wonderful time. As a mum of a very young baby, I have found meet ups really intimidating, but this was so different. The staff on site were so friendly and accommodating, the space was perfect and I met so many local Mums who I've been talking to since. The food and drink I ordered were delicious too, spending about £20 all together whilst I was there for nearly 3 hours. I can't rate the management of this Coffee #1 store though. They say they're community friendly, and had welcomed the event when it was organised, but have cancelled the next event, a mother's day special, following a complaint from another customer. I'm led to believe that the customer complained that a buggy blocked a toilet door and that the walkway to the toilet was blocked by a table. The ladies running the event checked in with staff on the day, during the event and afterwards, to ensure everything was was okay, which they were reassured it was. The manager was not on site. The toilets and walkways were never blocked off by prams or tables, unless the tables were always there since no large tables were moved. Myself and the other ladies attending frequented both the upstairs and downstairs toilet ourselves and with our babies and never struggled to get past prams. It's a shame that this complaint from another customer couldn't have been handled better either at the time or in response to the complaint if it was made after the event or directly to head office. Instead it feels like that persons(') word has been taken and our voice has been silenced. I will be avoiding Coffee #1, as will other Mum's from the group and the local area to avoid confrontation.

Always been my go to for pizza and they never disappoint. The guy working who made my pizza asked me to leave a review and was very polite.

For the price, variety, and quality of food I was impressed. Usually, with buffet food, I find all the food tastes the same, but was pleasantly surprised that this one captured the flavour of Asian cuisine. Clean place and looks classy. Good atmosphere and spacious. Decor is great. Was really impressed with the desserts too as they also tasted very nice. Free refills on soft drinks is an excellent decision. I'll be back.
