The most rude person you could ever meet served us, he doesn't make a mistake even though he is doing multiple things at once, what a ignorant man.would not consider ever going there again

Fantastic service and lovely food. My son and I are celiac so it was great to know we could have GF safe food, lots of options, including beer, and absolutely delicious! Thank you!

What’s happened to this place? Just missed out on £250 because the person on the phone does not know the menu and was very rude. We called up 3 times to try and order and still could not take the order. Gone to Nando’s instead. Used to be alright. Lost us.

I ordered my takeaway from here and I'm not happy as I paid £40.44 I had a pizza but my other items were wrong and I asked for a Ben's & jerry ice cream and I ended up with 4 small doughnuts and they were frozen and I asked for a pepsi max and instead they gave me pepsi and on the website on just eat it didn't say my items were not available.

Absolutely amazing place. The food was delicious and extremely well presented. We had the Seared Fillets of Sea Bass & Grilled Bacon Chop, both of which were cooked to perfection! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Mother's day meal 2025....disappointing really, very expensive for quite an average meal. Peas, carrots, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, beef or lamb shank. Portion size just about ok but had to pay more for a Yorkshire pud, stuffing balls, pigs in blanket which is cheeky. We had melt in the middle chocolate pud and ice cream but it was not, as it was a sponge pud with choc sauce so not correct on the menu. Rhurbarb in the crumble was under cooked. Would not return for Mothers day again.

I recently attended a Mother and Baby coffee and cake meet here, organised with the managers approval, and had such a wonderful time. As a mum of a very young baby, I have found meet ups really intimidating, but this was so different. The staff on site were so friendly and accommodating, the space was perfect and I met so many local Mums who I've been talking to since. The food and drink I ordered were delicious too, spending about £20 all together whilst I was there for nearly 3 hours. I can't rate the management of this Coffee #1 store though. They say they're community friendly, and had welcomed the event when it was organised, but have cancelled the next event, a mother's day special, following a complaint from another customer. I'm led to believe that the customer complained that a buggy blocked a toilet door and that the walkway to the toilet was blocked by a table. The ladies running the event checked in with staff on the day, during the event and afterwards, to ensure everything was was okay, which they were reassured it was. The manager was not on site. The toilets and walkways were never blocked off by prams or tables, unless the tables were always there since no large tables were moved. Myself and the other ladies attending frequented both the upstairs and downstairs toilet ourselves and with our babies and never struggled to get past prams. It's a shame that this complaint from another customer couldn't have been handled better either at the time or in response to the complaint if it was made after the event or directly to head office. Instead it feels like that persons(') word has been taken and our voice has been silenced. I will be avoiding Coffee #1, as will other Mum's from the group and the local area to avoid confrontation.
