Nahidz in Fareham

Waited over 2 hours for this meal to arrive, on a Thursday too, may expect it on a weekend but not a week night, not acceptable. Will not be ordering from this place again.

Hi guys This is a really difficult one and the definition of "hit & miss" There have been evenings when I have ordered and it is legit stunning....so much so that I've actually felt compelled to ring up and complement them on what has been at times food on a par with a great restaurant!!! And then.... You order the following week and the curry that "wowed" you the previous Week is heartbreakingly poor or bland!!! There must be different Chefs in rotation as sometimes the curries are staggeringly different, just days apart!! This is why it's hard!, I've had curries (often the same) that range from 2* to 5* Id like to give a higher score but can't do due to the massive inconsistencies!!!

Not the best quality of food. They also charge £1 delivery. It states £2 for orders under £15. Both my recent orders have been more than £15 and I have challenged it twice to be told that it's new prices as stated on the menu, I asked for the new menu twice and still states the same. Doesn't seem a lot but that once per week from every order.......it soon adds up. I am sorry but I would rather pay more money for an honest service and better quality food.

I have been a customer & always happy with the food & service. Now they have been a customer of mine. I have installed a lot of plumbing:- new employee w/c & basin. Why mention this? Because I have now been in the back area where they prepare the food. All new easy wipe down surfaces & walls. Didn't see any areas that were dirty & I have worked in other takeaways that aren't clean so know when an effort is made. Proper big fridges all with temperature displays & all correct. Everything separated i.e. meat from other food stuff.

I always use Nahiz Brilliant friendly staff, good portions and great,on time accurate ( free local) deliveries. What's not to like? Try them.

Best in the area, only problem tonight about 10. Ordered food. I was already to pay..he was no not till its done. Half hour wait or more. I never worry. Id rather wait knowing its done. Get told cash only. Why the long wait to tell me. They'd already cooked it. I could of easily walked out.

Excellent food & amazing service. Ordered for a large party, all food was delicious & clean plates all round! Great value for money and speedy delivery. Thankyou 😄👍

Been coming here for years. A fantastic Indian takeaway. Hot fresh clean & tasty. Also ask for a special dish yo bd cooked their do it. Great foid Great value. Great friendly polite staff 👍

I am new to the area and tried Nahidz for the first time. I wasn't disappointed. The curry, rice and chicken was very tasty. Also had onion bhajee which was also very nice. The staff were very polite. I will be going back!

Ordered a takeout for 4 this evening and all of the food was exceptional. Freshly cooked and really tasty. Would recommend.

Dreadful. Ordered food 24 hours in advance. Failed to arrive. Phoned to ask where food was, told another hour. 2 hours later and numerous phone calls, NOTHING. They even had the audacity to put the phone down on us three times. Can't review the food as it never arrived. I'm sure it would have been better than the service though.

We have been using Nahidiz for a long time now & we swear it’s the best! Food is very tasty & plentiful - we are particularly big fans of their mint sauce... can’t get enough!!! Would highly recommend 🤗

You do have to wait a little longer than in other restaurants, minor gripe though as their food is worth the wait, always bursting with flavour and well spiced, probably the best Indian food I have ever had.

Sorry but late delivery. Very poor food. All agreed it is the worst curry we've had. Tasteless and did not look inviting. Won't be ordering again. V dissapointed.

Food good problem is the time you give is always late been waiting 25 minutes and just been told another 10 minutes not good enough

We ordered via just eat. Excellent easy ap. food very good quality, very large portions, piping hot. Very good value

After speaking to river spice yesterday and to be told they don't do anything vegan. y a very disinterested gentleman this place was reccomended to us. We asked if they could accommodate a vegan in our family order of 7. They were very happy to be.us with this and said they could make most of the menu vegan accept the creamy dishes. He spoke to the chef to check everything before he confirmed . We ordered lots of sides, had a lamb vindaloo and tandoori mixed grill. Paneer curry and chicken tikka masala ..the motor paneer was amazing. What I found to.be outstanding was not just the quality of the food and service but also how the vegan meals we all packed in a seperate bag and clearly labelled. This was done off there own back. Well done lads.

We have lived in portchester for 10 years and always used Nahidz for curries. We’ve never been disappointed!

I thought it be nice to treat us to a lovely curry takeaway. I specifically said No coriander in the madras I even repeated myself and that was it. I got home to my curry having coriander in it, cold and watery and no rice. My husband's was also cold but had rice. Puppadoms weren't crispy and naans were cold. So in all mine went in bin. I've always gone here suppose I'd better find another curry takeaway!!!!

Food was cold. one dish was the wrong order. also found some sort of material in one of the dishes. Rang to complain, Nahidz were awkward on the phone and finally agreed to refund the one dish, I have never received this refund. Never again will I spend my money there. if there was an option for no stars I would. I don't normally leave reviews but this was particularly bad.

Very hot and tasty food. Deliver quick and driver pleasant. Would definitely order again! Only negative comment was pilau a little dry.

Awful 1st order from this place! Ordered just after 5.30pm and got email through to say delivery will be 19.55. Seemed long but understandable at the moment. Got to 20.15 and still no curry. Enquired and got told it would be with us at 20.45. Just after 9pm still no curry. I phoned and got told 20 mins. Half hour passed and still nothing. Near to 10pm I phoned again and got told it had just left and on it's way. So 4 and half hours later our curry finally arrived. Not that we really fancied it at that time. Such a shame as it was supposed to be a family meal as my two little girls wanted it but obviously couldn't wait that amount of time to eat. I got told I could have a £4.00 refund which to me was a bit of a joke! I understand in time like this it's going to be more difficult and longer waiting times but to be told 4 different times and then have to wait 4 and half hours for food was just ridiculous. Will NOT be using again!

Terrible non existent delivery, £21.70 paid and after 2 and a half hours waiting plus trying to phone with no answer and no food, plus Just Eat don't do refunds. Seriously do not use. Plus finally delivered at 10.55pm from 7.30pm order and a massive hair in middle of food, hygiene clearly zero. Didn't take much looking and found a 2nd hair.

We have ordered from Nahidz a few times now for delivery and I must say it arrives lovely and hot and the food tastes great which we were nervous about as not all takeaways have the same taste to what you are used to. I personally recommend ordering the BBQ Spare ribs 😍

I had ordered 2 pilau rice with my curries etc, but they were not in the order when I got home. I called amd spoke to the manager whose customer service was on par with a 3 year old. Apparently the manageress thought it was acceptable to accuse me on lying about the order, speak over me whilst I spoke and raise her voice to me. She advised she would deliver the rice if I pais.....2 portions of rice. I'm sure your parents will be proud of you having saved the business the huge cost of 2 portions of rice. Why do you need customer service, the life time value of customers and stories of good customer service are just simply not worth 2 portions of rise, why you would have to be a crazy business owner to admit you made a simple mistake, offer to put it right and assure them it wont happen again. Perhaps we should all go on the same MBA course you did and learn those leadership skills. I will of course take my custom elsewhere, and my Dad who still lives locally, Im sure he will share this experince at the social club too. 2 portions of rice, what are they really worth?

We had ordered two pilau rice with the order, but when we arrived home they had been left out of the order. I immediately phoned and spoke to the manager who advised that they were not on the order and therefore I had in fact not ordered them. This was a surprise to me, ealry onset dememtia perhaps!!! A hollow apology was offered and I was advised that I needed to pay to have the rice delivered. Yes I had to pay for 2 portions of rice! This is terrible customer services and during the conversation I was accused of being a liar, she raised her voice and spoke over me whilst I spoke all over 2 portions of rice. If a business owner feels the need to conduct themselves in this appalling manor it demonstrates a blatent disregard for customer service and a complete inability to manage. Firstly, you apologise, secondly you offer to rectify the situation and thirdly you assure the customer that this will not happen again......how hard is that, a child could do it! The food is average for the price, i can see why they have 2 stars. Perhaps they could share their food hygiene rating with us as well!

Decided for a Saturday night treat we would order from here, ordered a chicken tikka passanda, chicken korma, pilau rice, garlic nann and popadoms with mint sauce.... was lovely we always enjoy food from here and will continue to use them. Staff are also lovely!

First time ordering and although we were anxious it wasn't being delivered in our time slot, it arrived within a few minutes and was absolutely lovely...great flavours and the lamb was tender and tasty unlike some we have had... and will definitely order again...thankyou

Got food poisoning from hear don't use it

Placed an order for delivery awaited 1 hour as stated - food arrived cold - called to complain which was met with a vile attack by the manager a young member of the family who refuted the meal wad cokd but was actaually not on site at the time the meal was dispatched nor was here at the receiving address at the time of delivery and she simpky agued fir 20 mins her poor pathetic case . this young kid is a vile un acceptable excuse for a trader in porchester and it us no wonder the trader had ad many complaints to the local authority about their hygiene levels anss standards AVOID BEWARE VILE TRADER POOR STANDARDS

Long term customer. 100% the very very best takeaway Indian in the area. Good website to order from, arrives on time, pleasant delivery drivers, order always correct, food hot, well packaged and fantastic. Just fantastic. I’ve never been anything but completely satisfied. If Carlsberg made Indian takeaway....

Recommended by a friend to try this place , I just had a korma , pilau rice and a garlic naan , no faults , was lovely and tasty . Would order from again . Went and picked up and was quick ready . Simples

First time ordered a Vegetarian Masala and potatoes were rock hard and raw. Second time ordered the same Masala and got a Korma. I've used them for a third time and I have just seen my credit card has been charged twice for the same meal. I will be contacting them tonight to see if I can get my money back but it shows they cannot get any aspect right. Three strikes and you are out guys. I would not recommend you order from here

Not as good since it has changed hands! Chicken korma was spicy and not very creamy! Rice tasted burnt. Not very much sauce! Will not be returning!
