Everything was wonderful from start to finish. All the food was delicious, thank you to chef Gary and the service was excellent, thank you to Matthew!

MOTHER’S DAY - SHOCKING EXPERIENCE. We arrived excited for our Mother’s Day breakfast at Titchfield Mill, with the car park looking busy which was a promising start. We sat down at our table, impressed by the choice of food available, but sadly this is when everything came CRASHING DOWN!!! We waited an hour for our food, which the lady server with dark hair and glasses did not apologise for at all, neither did the senior or supervisor (whose names we didn’t get). We ordered two cooked English breakfasts, one Vegan Breakfast and one Avocado on Toast, but the best thing about the meal was our lattes and a tap water! The food eventually arrived, again NO APOLOGY FOR THE WAIT!!! The avocado on toast was UTTERLY EMBARRASSING, OVERCOOKED EGG, NO CARE ON THE PRESENTATION WITH THE AVOCADO,!! We had to send it back, we were angry, very upset that Mother’s Day had started badly, and disgusted by the lack of care from all but one staff member, a waitress who wasn’t our main waitress who had lost her voice. She was the only one who apologised! None of us finished our food, as the cooked full English’s weren’t hot, were bland and the veggie breakfast wasn’t going to be fully eaten because she was crying that her Mum’s special day had started off so badly because of you! I went to the bar with my father in law and the manager/supervisor guy made a HUGE ADMISSION - saying the food wasn’t cooked fresh, it’s from a company!! AVOID BREAKFAST HERE!!!! If you want a lovely breakfast, DO NOT GO TO TITCHFIELD MILL. He didn’t seem to care whatsoever about our disappointment. JUST APOLOGISE! After all the back and forth about the bill, they took the avocado off, then another meal. They then removed all the food leaving us with the drinks, before another manager came over and said wipe the whole bill. What an absolute shambles! What a SHOCKING EXPERIENCE, we will NEVER be going back - as you’ve ruined our morning, made us cry, angry and frankly you should NEVER serve breakfasts again! I wish I had a photo of the avocado, but after waiting an hour, we just wanted nice food. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT COME HERE FOR BREAKFAST - IT’S NOT FRESH - SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!!

Booked for Mother’s Day, turned up, immediately greeted warmly and taken to our table, perfect amount of time to decide our choices and without needing to signal Kasia arrived to take our orders again extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was of excellent quality and waiting times were minimal despite every table being full, whilst dining I could not help but notice the amazing precision of all the staff working together. In all a fantastic experience will definitely return

Harry the chef has amazing food services by Matt, a wonderful young man.

Service was slow, a sit down meal doesn’t normally last 3 1/2 hours, staff weren’t welcoming. We found eyelashes in the dessert, after we raised this, our waitress completely ignored us and served the tables around us, meaning we ended up walking to the bar to pay for our bill. It’s likely she was where the eyelashes came from. I came down with food poisoning afterwards, I am still unwell and I am writing this unable to get out to bed….

Excellent meal once again from The Titchfield Mill. Their food is to die for, but especially the roast dinners. You cannot go wrong and I would highly recommend to anyone to get the stuffing wrapped in bacon as it is heavenly. The service is always excellent and nothing is too much. Would always recommend to anyone and look forward to my next meal there.

Attended with some work colleagues, on a Friday evening, our server was Matt who was delightful, he was helpful and polite, we all had three courses some from the standard menu some from the weekend menu, all the food was tasty and well presented and the plates were warm, the staff bringing the drinks were polite and engaging, the atmosphere was chilled and it was nice to sit and eat and be able to hold a conversation, and all round lovely experience, I cannot remember the chef for the evening but he did an excellent job and will be going back with family

I am extremely disappointed in the service I received today by Matt and manager Lauren. I ordered from the set menu 2 course. And ordered a starter and a main £25. The starter I ordered was the cambert to which matt said do I want this for 1 person or 2. I clearly told him it was for 1 person. Then my friend ordered off the set menu a starter and a main for £25. She ordered chicken bites. Once it came to the bill matt told us verbally a price to which this came to a higher amount than anticipated. That's because matt didn't put our food through as a set menu price. So once again he came back with another price but again this was not what we anticipated. He then went off and decided to finally give us a receipt to show us what we was paying for and it turned out that the cambert starter classed as both of our starters. Serves 2. so the receipt was telling us to pay for the extra starter. This was NOT the option that was given to us when we ordered by Matt. He asked us if the starter was for one person giving us that option and not clearly telling us that if my friend ordered a starter aswell that it would be extra and the cambert would class as her starter to. We asked to speak to a manager to which a very rude lady came over with attitude and said abruptly the menu says cambert serves 2. But we had already just told her that matt gave us the option for 1. Also just because the menu states it serves 2. That doesn't mean 1 person cant eat that to themselves which is why we thought matt gave us this option for.1 person. . It does not clearly state on the menu at all that the cambert is a starter for 2 people only and you cannot order this alone for 1 person. Lauren was so unprofessional. Rude. Argumentive. And didn't not understand why we were mislead by Matt. I was not happy being forced to pay for something that was not clearly stated to us by Matt and was not clearly stated on the set menu! It also did not state a supplement charge if 1 person was to eat this and giving the option that matt gave us for 1 person to eat. Overall my experience today has left me feeling upset and embaressed by the way we were spoken to and treated by Lauren!
