The best restaurants in Cobham and Downside Elmbridge South East

Does anyone ever water the plants Waitrose has for sale - Or is it planned to let them die and throw them away ? What a waste. Again.

Food was fast and pretty good. Kinda expensive but it's okay. Staff were friendly enough.

Went here based on a recommendation in a paper. Sadly it did not live up to expectations. Welcome was functional not especially friendly. Where we were sat was crafty and I kept my jacket on for most of the meal. Sunday roast was average. Slightly dry and lacking seasoning chicken and soggy roast potatoes. The Yorkshire puddings however were excellent.

Service was terrible. Wanted desert, waited 20 minutes, wasn’t offered desert, left without desert.

Had visited painshhill park on the 3/8/2024. After our visit. Me my nephew and his girlfriend wanted to get something to eat afterwards. So we walked down the high street to find somewhere. So we popped into Ali's Grill around 3.30pm .My nephew asked for a Chicken Shish and asked to upgrade to a meal deal ..Sorry no chicken. Not a good start so he said no. I asked for a dona kebab and chips. The chips were refried same as the kebab meat... Didn't even turn on the gas to heat the meat up...Piss poor portion. Ok it was only £8.50 but that's besides the point. All those that say it's the best kebab they've had must have no taste buds or it's the only kebab shop for miles.. Me personally thought it was the worst kebab I've ever had..Bland and dry at the edges. Sorry but where I live I have a choice of at least 20 kebab shops within a five mile radius and the quality is far superior this place..I give 85% of them 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+ This place...Minus 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐...And not surprising it's only got a 3 ⭐⭐⭐Rating...

I live locally, walking distance in fact and I can guarantee you we will never be back. We stood at the front door at 17:30 for 10minutes without so much as a glance from staff. Blatantly ignored. There is clearly no manager in this restaurant as everyone just looked run off their feet, tables remained filthy. Eventually we were seated and then the service was provided without so much as a smile. Grumpy, uninterested waiting staff. ALL of them. The food was completely average. They clearly have a monopoly in the area in terms of a restaurant that caters to children and therefore feel no need to make an effort to make it a pleasant dining experience. My advice - avoid it at all costs. I will be off to Casa next time.

Love Grapelli, always on my “must go” list whenever I’m in the U.K. Great ambience, great food, great cocktails…. Eddie, JP, Frederico & the rest of the team are true pros. One of my favourite dinner spots anywhere!!

Order was over an hour late, we wanted to cancel the order but the person we spoke to was rude and put the phone down.

It's an average Starbucks with average service. You have probably been to one before and know what you are getting. Glad to see they have ethical coffee.

Rubbish coffee. Asked for latte, given a cup of milky coffee with no froth. Not up to my usual Starbucks in Merstham.

This place makes really good coffee and loving the new pea milk! Staff are so friendly, excellent service. Thank you guys.

Came here on Sunday evening, and ordered a McPlant burger and an additional burger, from an adjacent rival restaurant, within these Services. Service was very rapid and fastidious and McPlant burger was very tasty.

Stopped for a quick lunch on way home from holiday. Ordered salad because menu said it included radish, which I am particularly keen on. Mentioned to waitress (counter service has ceased, presumably because of Covid!) that I wanted radish. However, there was no radish in the salad. The waitress did not come back to the table after serving the meal to ask if everythin was all right so after finishing the meal I went up to the food preparation area to ask whether they actually had radish. Yes, they did have radish! So why does this restaurant (in common with other restaurants so I have found) feel it acceptable to leave out ingredients specified on the menu). Is it laziness or what?

Ordered food waited ages and the order arrived without any of the dips the driver found it funny when I complained and said he would go back I presume so I could eat my food cold when he returned asked him to take order back as I really like the dips and wouldn’t eat with out them he refused so called shop to collect and they did shocking no customer service anymore
