Squire’s Garden Centre in Elmbridge

The cafe is revamped, the menu we had doesn't exactly match the website offering, I guess still in the change over period. The staff were lovely, but the food was very poor value for money. The jacket potato was OK for value, but the toasted ciabatta was just a small square ciabatta thin with a slice of ham, a slice of cheese, some chutney and a little side salad - not good for £9.99. The prawn sandwich used heavily processed brown supermarket medium presliced bread with a scrape of avocado, a decent quantiy of prawns in a rather runny sauce with again, a small side salad. At £11.99 a Waitrose premade one taken out of its packet and better presented would still have given them a decent margin and offered a nicer experience. Most pubs produce a better offering - it's not hard, so up your game Squires!

We visited this morning for breakfast the cafe has had a full refurbished which looks lovely it’s just a shame that the waitress has obviously had no training as she didn’t know what any of the breakfast items were. We left without having breakfast as apparently they didn’t have any of the items we wanted and they didn’t even have any eggs even though the fruit and veg market in the car park had loads of eggs for sale I’m a bit confused and disappointed.

Met 6 friends here this morning The coffees were nice but prices are high. £3.50 for a Diet Coke is ridiculous. We did not have anything to eat No atmosphere. It ha more of a canteen feel rather than a coffee shop . It was definitely service without a smile. It served it purpose but personally who not choose to return here again

This is a regular visit for Lunch and always excellent The food is beautifully presented and the staff so attentive and helpful

Total shambles. Waited 40 minutes for two toasties. Restaurant wasn’t being cleared quickly either. Don’t bother coming unless you like sitting about along with watching everyone else getting annoyed. Shame as the food is great.

Very pleasant cafe/restaurant near Cobham (and Leatherhead) with ample parking. There is a large seating area inside plus additional seating on the patio outside. The sun shines on the patio and into the restaurant. I love the breakfasts here and have been several times in recent months, sometimes with my Sunday paper ! You can build your own breakfast with lots of choice and all reasonably priced. The food quality is good as is the coffee. Noting an earlier review, there can be small delays at peak times. However, I have have always found the staff very friendly and helpful. I can recommend this venue for a good breakfast in a relaxed setting.

Convenient meeting place just outside Cobham with a well stocked plant nursery and gift shop. Free parking on site. The cafe is light and bright with outside seating available and is good for morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea etc but the service is oh so slow! Can take ages for the order to be taken (although food arrives fairly swiftly once this is done) and it doesn't seem to enter the waiting staffs' heads to come and clear plates and maybe ask if there is anything else the table would like to order. Come on guys, train your staff better and you'll see your sales of coffees, teas and cakes soar!!

Visiting this Garden Centre is always a pleasure from the entrance and friendly welcome to the Cafe Bar where the service and food is excellent

Popped in for lunch and was greeted with friendly staff. Food was prompt and hot. Very tasty and a nice experience.

This a standard garden centre cafe. which is quite small, it is Ok if you just want a tea, coffee etc here when you are shopping or meeting friends as a point of convenience. I would not bother with food which is not up to much. Service is robotic. I suppose it serves a limited purpose, but you definitely would not go out of your way for this cafe
