Never go here. We had to queue for 45mins just to get our food. Which was total disorganised chaos. Once we got our food, my son the was continually sick for the next 24hours. He didn’t had have bug so had to be the food!

Came here Sunday because they offer a roast dinner and have other options for husband who discharged like the roast. Comments: 1. Absolutely heaving with screaming ill-behaved kids. Noise unbelievable. No attempt whatsoever to separate families and adults. 2. The fish cake etc that husband had was dreadful. Dry and tasteless. 3. The roast beef dinner was unbelievably bad. Thin slices of overcooked beef (which to hectare were tender). Horrid garlicky gravy. And vegetables that must have been cooked a week ago. Horrendous. Come midweek for tea and cake. Go elsewhere for anything else,

This beautiful venue is a garden centre folks, it’s not a play barn and it’s not an evening restaurant in london. Yes you need to find a table, get a number and order food to be delivered to the table. It’s not rocket science folks and again - it’s a garden centre cafe! Adjust your expectations people! Right.. now for the food food glorious food! The fresh beetroot and whole goats cheese salad was everything! Had so many pistachios I was in heaven! And the cakes! Just go for tea and cake .. it beats Gail’s by miles! Absolutely loved eating here and if there’s a queue and it takes a while next time … it’s fine I’m not rushing, if you are in a rush, maybe choose fast food 🤔

Having only one till point for such a popular location is somewhat frustrating both for the customers and the staff however the wait Wass well worth while as the meal was excellent. The baked potato was extremely well "loaded" with plenty of filling and the ploughman's platter was exceptional - huge, varied, tasty and well presented. The food exceeded expectations in every way. Sort out the ordering system and then everything would be perfect.

Wow. Have a look at this photo. How on earth do you justify £14 for a couple of spoonfuls of chilli con carne. Utterly disgraceful. The ham egg and chips weren’t much better, and the sausage in the children’s meal was practically inedible…. Is it actually wrapped in leather?!? Disgraceful….

I haven't even eaten but with two hungry kids and waiting in a queue, I am thoroughly disappointed with the setup. I don't usually moan about queueing but in this instance it is frankly ridiculous - an hour wait!

An overly complicated set up - find a table and go to the counter ummm so you find your table make a note of the number, and by the time you queue up someone is now sitting at the table? Even harder with a 3 and 5 year old - you cannot leave them unattended but how do you save the table? Food when it finally arrived was fine. As stated they've done away with the name and call it The Orangery Tea House. So questions are is this table service no. Once you get to the till you tell them the table number and hope no one has taken it. You pay and then return to the table where they then serve/bring out the meal.

Very poor set up of their Covid layout - From the car park it isn't clear where the entrance is - if you get to the exit a badly positioned sign says entrance to left and points at the exit - there is no sign on the entrance. Inside there are some "one way" signs on the floor but not many so people were walking the wrong way. Entrance to restaurant well signed with spacing markers but once inside this vanishes - having gone outside to choose a table, as instructed, there was no indication of which way to go back to the counter to place your order - I went throgh a door which very clearly said "Exit Only" on the other side but that is pointless if you don't have a sign on the outside saying "No Entrance". Once in the restaurant there was no indicatin what direction you should go to leave or what directions you should follow to the exit.

Visit here often, it is okay. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is possible to explain to the charming man who was on the food, front counter, exactly what a roll and butter are. Last time it was the parsnip soup with a young lady, It is wonderful we have a multinational population and that Garson's employ so many lovely young people. I embrace this attitude. However, please adopt basic English it can be so frustrating when trying to explain.Waiting in a queue embarrassing for the server and for me. The watery soup not the usual standard, quite tasteless. The little Hovis rolls obviously in the microwave, rubbery,

Came here on Father's Day, sadly it was the first Father's Day without him. The Terrace Restaurant was packed, though we found a table and had a look beside us, only to notice two ladies, struggling with their 'Sunday Roast Dinner' Don't get me wrong, but if you have hollow legs and a big appetite, then it would be the ideal dinner. We had one cream tea, beautiful fresh scone and I could only manage a childs portion of a roast dinner. Absolutely perfect!! I do like their varied teas to choose from (black tea with vanilla) very refreshing. They do change their menu often, which we like. We will be back.

Sadly with the new glass roof - anything with fresh cream or icing melts and needs replacing frequently so lots of waste.

Went for a late breakfast, and ordered a sausage bloomer sandwich. It was barely tepid and the sausage was pale (although cooked through and tasteless). I ate less than half before giving up, so went back for a chocolate brownie instead but this was equally disappointing. Dry and not moist and squidgy like a brownie should be. Again I ate less than half, even my 9 year old chocolate loving daughter took a bite and left it. No sign of any manager to give feedback to, only junior young waiters and table clearers. The restaurant is nicely refurbished.

If your a fan of jacket potatoes...then duly give Garsons Esher a "body swerve". Approx £8.00 for a tuna jacket (no added tuna or chives or anything to justify cost) and a tiny potatoe and side scoop of tuna. A very sad looking tablespoon of salad garnishes (it's barely there)sits on the side. Awful value for money and jacket was yellowing and not fresh tasting. Total rip off and culinary void. My mum eats like a little sparrow and she ate it all in 5 mins flat....and asked for a teacake! Poor show Garsons!

We have eaten here quite a bit and the food menu and selection for kids is very good with healthy options as well as the cakes. The staff are friendly but there seems to be a lot of them wandering around but the last time we have had to ask 2 or 3 times for ketchup or mayo or butter and its been forgotten.

Massive new eating area which feels like an airport terminal, totally lacking in atmosphere. Food is standard fare for this kind of place and is over priced to my mind. Have been several times and the counter servers though charming have yet to get my order right, even when I'm just ordering a pot of tea..... Their system is slow, confusing for them and us, and chaotic! Needs working on..... The place has been open for a while now and teething problems should have been sorted!!

Went here based on a recommendation in a paper. Sadly it did not live up to expectations. Welcome was functional not especially friendly. Where we were sat was crafty and I kept my jacket on for most of the meal. Sunday roast was average. Slightly dry and lacking seasoning chicken and soggy roast potatoes. The Yorkshire puddings however were excellent.

The staff and atmosphere were brilliant, I ordered a mixed grill and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Matt and Ben were lovely and ill definitely come again! *Update* Well tonight was hard for me (the 19th) as tomorrow is the (20th). The 20th is 18 months since I lost my wife. Dave, Mat, Ben and Tracy (all staff) thank you for being normal, it means everything. To Tom? Dude you are friends with friends of my daughter, thank you for being yourself, it means more than you know. Finally to the two people dancing ( I bought you a drink if that helps jog your memory), thank you so much, as your normal smashed my normal and helped me more than you will ever know. To bring all of this into context, I lost my wife 18 months ago, your normality, sense of fun, and kindness helped me more than you will ever know. Love to you all ❤️

Service was so slow! The staff were distracted and even thought there were two people before me to be served it took almost 10mins before I got my order in. It took ages for my Turkey and Swiss cheese to arrive and it was so dry!!! No apologies for the delay and we won’t go back again. Thankfully plenty of other nice places to visit in weybridge!

Like most people I've driven past this pub on the way to Garsons and thought "I should go here sometime". My only regret is not doing it sooner. Pub looks great inside and out after the renovations a while back. The food was superb, highlight being the baked camembert and the bone marrow beef pie which was so so delicious! Can't wait to come back.
