Love Grapelli, always on my “must go” list whenever I’m in the U.K. Great ambience, great food, great cocktails…. Eddie, JP, Frederico & the rest of the team are true pros. One of my favourite dinner spots anywhere!!

DISAPPOINTED It was my birthday & I Could not have picked a worse place to celebrate it. They sat us at the back with absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever . The food was ok but very expensive for the quality & only lukewarm. We went to the Good Earth two days earlier for my wife’s birthday & was such a nicer experience Very disappointing……very overpriced Zero atmosphere in the out back part of the restaurant If you are a celebrity you can be seated on show otherwise they will Sit you out of view from anything!!!!!

I went to the restaurant with my partner 26th August. The starter and pasta were good but second main was worse than average. The fish and potato side were salty that they upset my stomach.

Terrible loud music, you ask to turn it off and they put it up again. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go for lunch with family or friends if they want to talk and not finish with a headache.

I have to confess ! This is one of a number of restaurants in Cobham, and it’s my favourite! The warmth of the whole team, exceptional service and amazing traditional yet modern Italian menu is to die for! If you are staying in the area very much worth a visit ! Ed, Maya, Phillipe and the team know the meaning of hospitality and service !

We’ve eaten at this restaurant quite a few times and I personally cannot fault the food itself, the service and pricing on the other hand are quite different. Unless you are a celebrity or a party of girls, do not expect to sit at the front of the restaurant. The service was really poor; we received our starters before receiving our first drink (& bread and olives). The waiter was clearly very new which is fine but she really had no idea what was going on. The second waiter was incredibly rude and when we asked whether we could sit at the front instead (after watching a lot of people asking the same and being moved), he said no unless we wished to sit at the bar. On this occasion we actually decided not to pay service and strongly believe that the main my partner had which was a prawn spaghetti from the specials was increased in terms of price to accommodate this. I don’t see how a pasta with prawn, chillis garlic and cherry tomatoes can cost £38 otherwise. Sadly we won’t be returning. If you’re a footballer with a well known name, you’ll be welcomed with open arms and receive good service.

Well cooked dishes - especially the Tuna starter and crayfish, but disappointing service for a half-empty restaurant. What was worse - the bill for £190 for 2 of us with 2 glasses of wine. Lots of hidden charges, like £16 for bread and olives and £8 for a 75cl bottle of water! And then 13.5% service charge! You feel ripped off. Another table felt the same!

Incredible food, ambience, people. Beautiful set-up, Top service. My third weekend on a row, tried different things, all amazing. Definitely recommend the old fashion prepared by Frederico - best I’ve ever had. Wine selection is great too. Lobster ravioli, traditional caccio e pepe cooked in front of you on the Parmesan cheese wheel, truffle pasta with veal ragu, all amazing. You can’t go wrong here. My new home restaurant hands down. All staff is amazing. Jean-Piero, Frederico, Edi, Juliana, Mayara. Top service.

Ate at this restaurant on Saturday night. Was busy with a good buzzy atmosphere. The food was tasty. Two of the party ordered steaks for main course at which point the waiter suggested that they instead share a tomahawk steak which was a special of the day. The way it was phrased “if two of you are having steaks then you should instead share the tomahawk” led us to believe the price would be equivalent. Nowhere on the menu or on any specials board that we could see was the price of a tomahawk steak listed. Instead of £77 for the two steaks the tomahawk was an eye watering £120! We felt cheated by this upselling tactic. The bill for four people was over £400, one of us was driving, we went for the cheapest bottle of wine and only two had pudding. Whilst we could see the price of everything else on the menu (and it was generally very expensive) it was the upselling that rather spoilt the evening.

Service was terrible. Wanted desert, waited 20 minutes, wasn’t offered desert, left without desert.
