The best restaurants in Chichester South East

Yes, the fish was good. I'd seen the photos of the chips, so knew exactly what I was getting and they were edible ... but that's what makes the difference between 5 star and 3 star. Quick and friendly service. Nothing against the place but better and fresher chips would get a higher rating.

Great location and atmosphere, however all the Vegan options have disappeared from the menu. Staff adapted vegetarian dish however venue unfortunately won’t be top of our list anymore. (We will keep an eye on the menu and hope options return)

Buen hotel un poco deshilachado en los bordes de la comida buen baño pequeño. Pedí una habitación con vistas y conseguí una sobre el aparcamiento de autocares, al menos podía ver las tiendas desde allí. No son buenos con comensales solos o viajeros.

We often visit this Greggs whilst shopping in Chichester as their sausage rolls are the best. As I don’t drink dairy milk, in the past I’ve always had soya in little cartons. My husband asked for oat milk (my favourite) and to my pleasant surprise Greggs now offer oat milk as an alternative. So my order was for an Americano with oat milk on the side. My husband also mentioned “on the side”. This is because I don’t take much so need to add it myself. So when the lady served an Americano with oat included (frothed up, yuk) (Since when does an Americano have warm frother milk in it?) I said, no I ordered oat milk on the side. Stroppy cow said she didn’t hear that (we said it twice) and that anyway they don’t serve oat milk on the side. So I’ve paid for a coffee that I can’t drink as it’s too milky. I really expected her to say “sorry madam, let me do another one for you”. I mean, for the sake of customer satisfaction, just pour it away and serve me what I’ve asked for! Is it too much to ask to have oat milk on the side? This is a first for us. Every other coffee establishment we visit serves it cold, and on the side when asked. She has no customer skills at all. A right stroppy cow. We were disgusted.

Food etc is fine! But the opening times need updating never open on a Sunday! Says 8am opening .... Never when we have visited for Netball competitions! Always closed, checked again at 9:30am and still closed! Opening times need to be kept up to date! However on the few occasions it has been open in the past it's been fab! 👍

Best burger in the area by far as well as lovely other dishes. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly, can’t fault.

We stayed for a night and the room was very comfortable and clean . The staff very helpful and polite and we had dinner that was Lamb shank and was amazing and cooked extremely well and the following morning the breakfast was good and would stay here again .

Parada aquí en el camino hacia nuestro hotel cerca de Chichester para un almuerzo muy ligero. Muy cálida bienvenida, y se mostraron a una mesa encantadora. Realmente impresionado por la decoración inteligente y el extenso menú. Ambos acabamos de tomar su famosa sopa de pescado y pan + café, que era excelente. Una hermosa ubicación justo en el borde del puerto de Pagham. Sin duda uno para volver y disfrutar del menú completo. Como dice el título de nuestro informe: "Un verdadero hallazgo".

Visited 2 days ago and was greeted by Badrul. He and his staff were very attentive and professional. The food was quick and brought to the table. Very impressed. The place was decorated very modern and clean. It takes a bit of getting used to when asking for a double double that you have to put your own sugar in. It doesn't quite taste like the canadian and I think it's the cream used. The coffee cup lids should be the canadian design also, these are much better. Prices do no compare to Canada

Cuatro de nosotros almorzamos aquí el viernes 7 de febrero. Mi almuerzo tenía partes que estaban demasiado cocidas y duras. Le dije al gerente del restaurante que se disculpaba y le dije que se lo dirían al chef. Cuando fui a pagar le pregunté al gerente qué había dicho el chef. La respuesta fue que se había disculpado. Pregunté si era así y la respuesta fue sí. Mi impresión era que había poco interés en que mi comida no fuera comestible en parte. Acepto que todas las cocinas tienen problemas ocasionales, pero es cómo se tratan es lo que cuenta. El mensaje que recibí sobre mi pobre comida fue que lo sentían y eso es todo lo que podemos hacer. Así que tristemente no va a volver, vergüenza muy agradable acogedor agradable sensación de amistad sobre el lugar - hasta que eso es hay un problema.

Ubicación encantadora y personal muy amable y excelente servicio. No habíamos estado desde antes del Covid y pedimos nuestro pescado y patatas fritas favorito. . pequeña porción a nuestro gusto. . llegó caliente y fue una porción generosa, mi único pez gordo, que no mencioné al personal fue que estaba muy cocido tanto pescado y patatas fritas mega marrón. . pero muy sabroso. No pedí crumble ya que estábamos tan llenos y £ 8. 50 un tiro parecía muy caro. Volvería.

Un grupo de nosotros tuvimos almuerzo de Navidad allí hoy y fue excelente. Todo estaba recién cocinado - - terrina con chutney casero, un pavo obviamente cocinado en casa con todos los adornos, pudín de Navidad con salsa de brandy y café y un delicioso pastel picado. Todo hecho en sus propias cocinas y servido por personal muy amable y dispuesto que quería un favor. Pagamos £ 20 por cabeza, que es más que excelente relación calidad-precio cuando uno piensa en los precios en los restaurantes de Chichester y por lo que no tengo tiempo para las personas que hacen quejas sobre las verduras u otros pequeños niggles. Llamé en un día ciertamente frío para almorzar. Personal amable y servicio de mesa eficiente. Tuve una deliciosa sopa de pimienta y tomate con pan y mi hija Halloumi en un pan plano que era muy agradable. Buen café, pero hacía mucho frío en el café. Un amigo me envió un mensaje de texto para decir lo mismo y una pareja canceló sus cafés después del almuerzo como tan frío que escuché. Anteriormente he estado y pensé que hacía frío, pero realmente necesitan invertir en calefacción. Un buen tiempo solo destino tal vez.

Great town pub, I didn't stay but a colleague did and reported a clean, tidy and comfortable room. Good selection of Lagers, Barrel beers, Craft beers Ciders available, well stocked Spirits, all areas covered with alternatives available. Clean tidy bar, lovely old floorboard s and a fire on. Dog friendly, TV's with a selection of sports channels. It was a Monday night visit so not full , I think it's probably very popular on the weekends.
