We often visit this Greggs whilst shopping in Chichester as their sausage rolls are the best. As I don’t drink dairy milk, in the past I’ve always had soya in little cartons. My husband asked for oat milk (my favourite) and to my pleasant surprise Greggs now offer oat milk as an alternative. So my order was for an Americano with oat milk on the side. My husband also mentioned “on the side”. This is because I don’t take much so need to add it myself. So when the lady served an Americano with oat included (frothed up, yuk) (Since when does an Americano have warm frother milk in it?) I said, no I ordered oat milk on the side. Stroppy cow said she didn’t hear that (we said it twice) and that anyway they don’t serve oat milk on the side. So I’ve paid for a coffee that I can’t drink as it’s too milky. I really expected her to say “sorry madam, let me do another one for you”. I mean, for the sake of customer satisfaction, just pour it away and serve me what I’ve asked for! Is it too much to ask to have oat milk on the side? This is a first for us. Every other coffee establishment we visit serves it cold, and on the side when asked. She has no customer skills at all. A right stroppy cow. We were disgusted.

Greggs in East Street, Chichester is in the centre of the city. When we visited, there was tasty food, but not a full menu was available. There was still however a good selection of both hot and cold food to choose from. Drinks, also are available. The restaurant was clean and tidy and had background music playing. A small amount of seating and tables are available downstairs, but there are plenty upstairs. There are however, a lot of stairs to climb. Toilets are available on both levels.

Disappointing! Popped in to get a Vegan Breakfast SausageBap and the were not available. Only 9:20am, so find it hard to believe they had sold out! Just hadn't cooked many/any. On previous visits, it seems that larger batches of pizzas/pasties have been cooked earlier in the day - and by mid-afternoon are stone cold. It would be great if smaller batches of pizzas/pasties could be cooked throughout the day, so the food is HOT no matter what time you visit.

My partner and i cued for ages to get served , eventually got served to told hot food in cabinet is not that hot cant reheat it and only hot when it comes out .took a chance pizza and corned beef pie cold , be honest the whole place was in a terrible state ,run out of milk told the girl still no joy. As for the toilet out of order only disabled open and that was discusting. Our first and last time to ever use Greggs was so looking forward to it.

The Hash browns are very rubbery. Apart from that I like Greggs. I would also state that they need more staff as huge queues are likely here.

This was the first time we found almond croissants in Greggs. Absolutely yum. Also a reasonable breakfast at £2.25 for a bacon roll and hot drink. What more would you want. Friendly staff!

This isn't the first time I've visited this store and received cold food! I get a lunch break mid afternoon and don't expect to receive cold food pastries ect when being charged full price. Food needs to be constantly fresh and hot. Totally disgusting and a rip off..need for massive improvements.

Nice pastie and a cup of coffee as I was passing along North street. Sat and watched the world go by as I enjoyed the sunshine.

The last four occasions on a Friday that I’ve tried to buy a breakfast roll in my local branch in Chichester, either the food isn’t ready e.g bacon is still cooking, or has sold out. Won’t be rushing back as fed up with this. Surely they should be able to provide a consistent supply!

It's very clean and spacious, with seating available. The scaffolding makes it hard to find since it covers the logo and the top of the shop. When going inside the staff had a smile on their face but they were quick to disappoint with loads of items being unavailable such as croissants and cakes. The bacon in a baguette was delicious and very good value for the size of it!

This is a place to go for a quick snack, and a drink on the go, or you could sit inside. I highly recommend the sausage, cheese and bean melt.

If you've been to one you've been to them all. Nothing more on offer than any other. Just a nicer part of the UK than some.

I often drop by and get a lunch from Gregg's. Sometimes to eat in or to takeaway. Good range of cakes etc. And the tomato soup is always my favourite (and the orange juice too!)

Friendly staff and always well stocked. The prices and deals are reasonable. There is some inside seating but only 4 seats. Outside seating is a little bigger with 3 or 4 tables out on the high street. Always had good service and food in here.

Ok, so you by a "Hot" sausage roll which is stone cold. Never buying hot food from there again. The counter isn't even heated, it's baked earlier in the day, did give me a refund though. Extremely disappointed as I was really hungry

You just can't beat the taste in here. All food is fresh and has great flavour. The staff are friendly and the deals are always on a great choice of food. For example, a sandwich and hot drink for £3 or party and drink for £2. Ideal for a quick bite to eat or cheap lunch out

Adorei o sanduíche do Greggs, bem recheado e saboroso. Uma pena que não tem no Brasil... Quando visitar a Europa novamente, com certeza irei. Preço justo e bom atendimento.

I was never a fan of Greggs because of the thought of cheap ingredients and putting more independent businesses out the gin street! But I guess this has happened anyway so you might as well join the crowds and give it a try! I was pleasantly surprised - the food is always tasty, the staff friendly and the prices simply unbeatable. Definitely worth it for a cheap lunch on the move.

Very disappointed in my Scrambled egg on brown toast, the egg had no taste very pale done in the microwave, and water on my plate made my barely toasted toast wet and soggy. Great pleasant staff. Service good but unfortunately the breakfast was horrible.

Popped in for lunch following a walk to the Halnaker Windmill. Managed to get the last table available. I had the "lunchtime" size fish and chips with tartare sauce and mushy peas and my partner had the gammon, egg and chips. Both were very good. The "lunchtime" size fish and chips was a perfect size. My partner then had the crumble and ice cream and I had a mini version with custard and a flat white coffee. All very good too. Friendly staff and a great menu. A good selection of alcohol free beers. Definitely one to visit again when in the area, would book in advance.

We popped in without a reservation on a Saturday lunchtime and luckily they had a table for us. The pub was buzzing with happy people, clearly lots of locals too which is always a good sign. We had three courses - hadn’t planned to but the food was just soooo good! The prawn cocktail was the best we’ve ever had, and mains were delicious. OH had sea bass and I had lambs liver. Both served piping hot and with fresh veg. One of my main beefs is when food isn’t hot enough. Not so here, well done Berkeley Arms. The sticky toffee pudding was to die for too. We live 20 mins away but we’ll most definitely be back!

Have visited before and we came again for a pre theatre lunch. I opted for the tandoori trout which was cooked just right and tasted lovely. My husband had 3 fab sausages in his sausages and mash and said it tasted delicious. Really good service and friendly staff too. We will return on a Friday for the fish and chips deal. Highly recommended.
