The best restaurants in Canterbury South East

We went for high tea WOW absolutely amazing so much savouries and cakes thank you for amazing food + service SueThomas photos are for 1 person we even had some to take home yummy 😋

Had to wait for my car to be serviced in nearby garage so strolling along Herne Bay seafront - stopped at Harrys Cafe for a drink and lunch . Very good indeed - service - clean - toilets - food all good -- well served and a very reasonable price plus great view of the sea !

Found this cafe after a walk and can I say what a lovely little cafe! Really warm and welcoming, and can’t forget to mention how attentive the staff are! Cafe had a large selection of cake options, all of which looks so good, highly recommend popping over if you’re ever near by.

Me and my partner visited Keiths Coffee Hut and purchased 2 crab sandwiches. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and helpful, the 2 sandwiches both came in a takeaway box and were on thick white bread, loads of filling and served with a handful of pringles. The sandwich was tasty and fresh.

Terrible Mother’s Day meal. Awful and over priced and over booked. Service below par. Prices horrendous. Food reasonable but no More than a Toby carvery. If not worse. Stay away. Over booked and money greedy. Should concentrate on the customers they had and not the ones that just walk in. Really disappointed. All meals and different meat of average standard. Not worth over £30 a head. Refunds should have been given. Service ok. Few staff seemed friendly. Few did not.

The best sushi I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Amazing price for the amount of sushi you get and quality of ingredients used. Also a great selection of non sushi dishes. My Nan had the Katsu chicken curry which was also fantastic. The Chef and waitress were great and very welcoming when you arrive and makes sure you have everything you need while you are there. Would highly recommend anyone to try this wonderful restaurant.

Really nice place to stop for a cup of tea and a scone. We had cheese scones which were delicious and a coffee and tea which were both really nice. My partner also had a smoothie which was excellent. Simple things done really well!

Wow, they say the gluten free pizza is good, but trust me it will be the best you ever had. The food here is made with pride and the quality is just outstanding. Amazing. Ate on the beach watched the sunset. They Oder the gluten free basis for Italy. Seriously good.

Great food Platter for 2 at 3.30 in the dafternoon with welcoming service and so near the station where we arrived. What a great way to start a few days in Canterbury.

We stopped by for a quick lunch, I ordered a Jacker potato which was very nicket presented. The Burger and Chips were also very nickey done and very friendly staff. Very good prices.

Delicious sandwich. I had the Original which was really tasty. Fries were excellent and so was the coleslaw. Portion size was substantial. Staff really friendly. Would definitely visit again.
