Nomad Pizza Whitstable in Canterbury

Whilst people have their own opinions, I must say that if you don't like Nomad pizza then you don't know what you are talking about!! This is what pizza is meant to be. The staff and owner clearly love what they are doing and the ingredients they use are local, fresh, and use combinations that nowhere else does. The base is thin, crisp, but with the right amount of chew and the toppings are generous and because they have so much flavour you wouldn't need a mountain of toppings anyway. This was my second visit and I plan to work my way through the entire menu over time. I had the Tuscan (incredible) last time and the Jazz this time which was full of unusual flavours. I've had thick, soggy, greasy pizzas for twice the price but trust me, Nomad pizzas are the best. My only disappointment was that if you order over the phone then you can't see what the specials are. When I went to pick up there were 2 beautiful soundings specials that aren't on the menu or website. Perhaps the staff could mention theses if you are placing a phone order. Well done Nomad :-)

Ordered from Nomad because of the reviews but would never order again. Base was thin and hard. Very sparse on toppings. Ordered more toppings because of super Tuesday but very meagre. The pizza did taste nice but they need more ingredients on them. Ordered the pizza for 7pm but didn’t arrive until 7.25. It’s a shame we were so disappointed with the food as we would love to have a takeaway regularly. Waste of money A lot of the slices had hardly anything on.

First night staying in Whitstable. Fancied a pizza and we had Zizzi almost next door. However, I had heard good things about Nomad, so went that bit further away. Bought two pizzas and was not disappointed. We both agreed that they were the best we’d had in a long time. Excellent thin, crispy crust, not soggy in the middle, really tasty tomato sauce and just all round excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

Visiting Whitstable for the first time and loved the high street. Wanted a quick takeaway and found Nomad Pizza ….what a good choice. Couple of the tastiest pizzas …Tuscan and Priscilla. Great staff Thank you

Great spot for some pizza to take to the beach! I’m gluten intolerant so this was perfect for me! Great GF base and good tasty toppings. My BF had a normal base pizza and he said was yummy. Perfect with a beach sunset!

The menu here has a great variety of toppings available. Everything is made fresh to order so there is a little wait bit it is worth it. The base was the perfect thickness and had a crunch without being hard. The toppings were generous.

Absolutely first rate, excellent pizza. Really, really good. Base had just enough bite, just enough chew, exactly the right amount of topping. Whoever cooked this cares a great deal about getting pizza right, and they get it right, 100% - it’s just a couple of minutes walk up from the beach too. Honestly, if you are eating pizza in Whitstable then try this place.

Oh yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! YES! YES! YES!.... "I'll have what she's having"....🤭... Which was an Eden (vegetarian) and I had a Smokehouse (with deeeeeeeelicious onion chutney) ... Both delicious and hot 🍕(had read the reviews, especially the low score ones prior to ordering & can only conclude it was teething problems when restaurant first opened or simply "You can not please all the people, all the time"... 🤷🏼‍♂️). Had been recommended to try NOMAD PIZZA by our Italian son-in-law, who is a chef at another local Whitstable restaurant, so I guess he would know pizza! He wasn't wrong and we definitely weren't disappointed. Personally I couldn't recommend another in town... Not the cheapest pizza in town, sure, but they're not an international chain nor do they make kebabs, burgers, chips etc as well... They make and serve PIZZA (and dough balls and garlic bread but didn't try) and I will be having another,... and another,... and another.... 👍🏻❤️🍕❤️👍🏻

Fantastically fresh pizza, I ate in so the pizza was at is very best. Also had some wine at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended, and I’ve had a few pizzas in my lifetime !

I know times are tough, and ingredients are expensive, but what's the point of selling pizza with the cheese and tomato scraped on then scraped off again. It was flabby and undercooked so 90 per cent of the pizza went in the bin.

We have used nomad pizza a number of times and have never been disappointed. The Pizzas are always high quality and tasty, and there are great choices. On top of that, the service is always amazing from all the team, it is apparent this is led from the owners very high expectations. I highly recommend Nomad.

Wow! Amazing pizzas, with lots of really good choices for meat-eaters and vegetarians. Very good bases, tasty sauce and generous quantities of topping. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

I can definitely recommend Nomad Pizza. The best pizza we’ve had in along time, cooked to order tasty with lovely crispy base we have used them several times since finding them in August. Staff and service excellent. Pizza’s are delicious a definite must try

While on a day visit to Whitstable my friend and I bought a three cheese pizza to eat between us. We were both disappointed by the lack of topping and the very thin tasteless pizza base. We have both had much better for the price...

I can really recommend Nomad for gluten free pizza. Delicious toppings, and the gf bases, which can be very rubbery or dry, were lovely too. We were there on holiday, and would definitely be regulars if we were local!
