Citi Terrace CANTERBURY in Canterbury

Me and my friends came in for a bottomless brunch yesterday and the vibe was amazing. We had a great time and all the staff were beyond accommodating. We were mostly served by Farouk who was so attentive and catered to all our needs. I also want to give a shoutout to the host who did everything she could to make sure we didn’t have to leave (it was very busy and reservations were coming in) she was beyond kind and checked in on us regularly - I didn’t manage to catch her name but she had long curly hair. Our experience here was great but the only let down was how long the food took to come out. Of course I understand the venue was very busy but this should be accounted for. However the staff were very apologetic and once the food came out it was lovely! So it didn’t ruin our experience. overall this is an amazing place in Canterbury and I definitely will be coming back.

I came in with a friend on Friday and we were served by Nadine, she was amazing! The customer service was great, she was so accommodating and helpful and checked in on us often to make sure we were comfortable.

24 of us had a great late lunch yesterday after our wine tasting event we had locally, we had organised with the restaurant a set of menu which included a selection of all the started for the table and then each guest chose their main and dessert! The weather was perfect and the atmosphere buzzing and was the perfect combination for a fantastic afternoon - Farouk was first class who was the main waiter who looked after us and was excellent and was very attentive and was on it! John the F&B manager was also great who helped plan and book the event for a large booking! Thanks CT for a great large group lunch everyone left very full and well oiled 😍🤪🤪

Great summer vibes, however! When arriving we were told it’s 2 for 1 cocktails, however then when we went to order we have to get 4 for price of 2 cocktails so 2 cocktails per person spending the same amount of money. Doesn’t really make sense and I think they should change the deal to be a bit more explicit of the meaning behind the deal, furthermore they offer 20% student discount however if you are getting any deals on food or cocktails you cannot get this deal making it pointless in offering it. Overall a nice place to come however a total rip off

We got given a hennessy shisha VIP, and vats our waiter hooked us up nicely and looked after us, would definitely recommend.

Farouk you was beyond amazing, it was my best friends 21st and you went above and beyond for us even if we was a little drunk lol! Couldn’t Thankyou enough I’ve been here a lot of times but you by far have the best service you made everyone happy and laugh, food took a little long but you chased it up and helped celebrate with us!

Had a table of 13 people and we were mostly served by Mia. She was excellent, accommodating our every needs as best she could. She is a credit to the team. The food is good too.

Went for bottomless brunch with 16 other people. We asked after 90mins when our food was coming and were told the kitchen was backed up but we were waiting for olives, pitta bread and houmous so I don't understand why? They seemed to deliberately delay drinks and somethings we waiting over 30mins for our order, when we asked they said the bar lost one of our orders so waited another 20mins for the order. That's a great way of saving money on giving us bottomless drinks. Poor value, poor service and only 1 ladies toilet cubicle for such a big bar, ridiculous.

Slightly reluctant to leave this review as we were treated well by the staff and our bill was cleared due to the issues but think it needs highlighting for future guests. I booked for Mother's Day on the back of good reviews and a nice looking menu. We sat down at 12:30 and ordered our food around 12:45, my wife was given a welcome drink and my 2 year old received part of his order but essentially the rest of the food order never arrived. We gave up waiting at around 14:30 (2 hours after arrival) and decided to leave as we were all very hungry. Clearly something went wrong with their system, or someone didn't show up for work but there was no clear explanation for the issue. I will add that when we sat down, there were only a couple of other tables seated so it wasn't down to a busy service. Ended up in Wagamamas downstairs and were served our food in less than 20 minutes. A relief with a hungry 2 year old to keep busy!

We went for dinner last night and were hosted by Mia, incredible service! she was lovely and made our night even more enjoyable. She didn’t hesitate when we asked for group pictures and continued to check up on us through the night making the birthday girl feel so special. We are very pleased with our experience tasty food highly recommend!

The service here is incredible ! Our server was called Vats, could not fault him, he was incredibly polite. Would 100% recommend wether your coming for drinks or food.

Stopped for lunch on a Saturday and just had a few dishes from the small plates menu, which were all delicious. Friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely return 👍🏽

The food and the place are very good. Farouk, one of the waiters in the restaurant make your experience unique. I really liked it.

Me and my partner came here for dinner on Valentine’s Day. The customer service, food and atmosphere was perfect. Our waiter was Faroak, he was attentive and friendly, giving us great recommendations and checked in regularly to ensure we was enjoying our meal. I recommend dining here and hope to be served by Faroak again.

Sumit made my experience great!

My friends and I arrived without a reservation but we weren’t informed about their policy on Saturday about a 90 min limit on each table on arriving. We were informed about that while we were waiting for a friend to join us and the manager as well as one of the wait staff reminded us of the limit 3 times within 40 mins of being there. We were involved in a confrontation with the staff about the timing of our arrival and they insisted on us leaving 30 mins before the time we were supposed to. Not only did they disrupt our evening multiple times with reminders to leave, they also missed out on one of our orders for the table and spilled drinks beside us which did manage to stain some of our things. We were patient with the drinks spilling because we understood that it can happen. We were planning to have dinner but we cancelled because of the extremely poor customer service.

*Horríble experience* At the door we were not informed of the 90min policy of the place. Within 30min, we were informed about the time to leave 4 times, trying to make us leave 30min earlier (within 60min). The Bald guy was the most disrespectful as he tried to speak over me and argue about my arrival time. Music during dinner time was extremely loud, one of our orders never came and drinks were splilled just beside us. However, this can can happen and was not the main issue. Once I tried providing feedback to one of the managers initially he was being very defensive instead of acknowledging the mistakes and apologising for the bad service from the start of the conversation. This place does not care about the customers and has no respect or consideration.

Visited with a group of friends Saturday for bottomless brunch and had a great time! Food and drinks were lovely and service in particular from Remsey was amazing, definitely recommend.

We came last night with 15 guys, all of us were catered to perfectly. A big thank you to Farouk especially for sorting us out!

Primarily a pub and secondarily a restaurant. The drinks were delicious and presentable and served with a lively vibe. The food was quite tasty but firmly in the high-grease, high-salt, high-sugar category. Citi Terrace is an excellent place to get drunk and let loose with friends.

The atmosphere was very chilled & warm int. The staff was attentive & welcoming. The food was 10*.. i highly recommend this place for food & drinks. Ill definitely be visiting again.

The staff Ali and Paul especially couldn’t do enough for us. We were a group of 49 people. A great time was had by all.

We went on a busy Saturday night so the staff were rushing about but the food was very tasty (the dough balls were delicious) and the drinks were nice too. Nice lighting inside, it's definitely best to book a table in advance

We came for a bottomless brunch on a Sunday for a work Christmas do, was served by sumit, his Bellini was amazing fabulous host very attentive, food was great and general vibes were very enjoyable! Brilliant service, Sumit took good care of us and went above and beyond. Would 100% recommend.

Went for bottemless brunch, the drinks that are included are good value but the food was sub par and they forgot half our order. Georgia was amazing serving us and went above and beyond so thank you to her. Would return.

Came here for a bottomless brunch and the service was very slow. Waited half an hour for a drink to begin with then had long waits between our other drinks being served. Such a shame as the food, venue & cocktails are lovely but the slow service let it down.

The menu was very simple. not huge variety to choose from. Service was ok, disappointed that 241 cocktails were offered on the menu, then to be told can't have that offer as it's graduation and they know how to make money. I was there to celebrate my daughters graduation. If anything you should be throwing in a free cocktail and supporting these graduates who are bringing money into your city. If it was up to me this would of been enough for me have left and spent my money elsewhere for a meal. I know others who were there celebrating graduation expressed the same .

Reallh nice outdoor terrace seating, drinks were great and the waiter was friendly. Recommend for a day out with family or an evening with friends

Citi Terrace it’s a amazing place to dine in. We enjoyed the food and drinks. Food was delicious and drinks amazing. Manager was very kind and polite. Bar( Bruno made our day with lovely cocktails. Keira her service was wow. Definitely recommend.

We held a bigger event here the day after our wedding on Monday, for casual food and drinks - there was between 30-60 people throughout the day. Ali and his staff were amazing. Amazing communication throughout the booking- very smooth, easy going and listened to us as customers. Ali and his staff were attentive, proactive, polite, organised, hardworking- all in all amazing customer service and we couldn’t fault it. The food/ drinks/ venue was also lovely - they also have a retractable sun roof which is good to have! If you are thinking of booking this venue for an event or even for drinks/dinner - do it! Went on a Monday Night for a birthday - Food was amazing, drinks were brilliant and tbh so much better than we anticipated originally. The only downside was the bar staff were chatting for a while and our drinks took a lot longer than we thought they would.

The food was quite good and the staff was nice to us. Ryan was attentive and helped us out alot!

We ordered a non-alcoholic mojito and they brought apple juice with lemon and mint.

Booked a table for lunch prior to a theatre show after seeing the 2 courses for £15 and kids eat for £1 online. Arrived and was told to sit wherever. Offered drinks upon seating, which was great. I queried the lunchtime offer with the waiter, which was showing as two courses for £17 on their menu, (£15 online), and was told we could get 2 of anything on the menu for £17. Kids were 3 courses for £8, I'd queried the kids for a £1 which I quoted on the booking, to which the waiter said he would have to get the manager as he didn't know. The manager explained that kids can eat for £1 when an accompanying adult spends £15. Perfect, I thought, until upon ordering our food, the waiter then says they're not offering the lunch deal of 2 for £17 as they're currently in the process of upgrading their menu but he didn't know?! I've never been to a restaurant that advertises and confirms a deal to then retract it 10 minutes later.. the childrens menu also doesn't show prices for items when ordered invidually. Anyway, we went ahead and ordered and explained we had a show to get to so queried the wait time, was told 15 minutes. The food took much longer than 15 minutes to arrive, during this time the waiters were busy serving a lot of drinks to other tables, the waiter came over after a lengthy wait and apologised. Our food then arrived, separately, one adults and one child's pasta first, an adults pizza followed and my youngest that was waiting on a child's pizza was left without food so I had to share mine as he was already hungry and complaining of the wait. A different waiter who served some of the food apologised and said that had a big table to attend. Surely, this should've been explained upon ordering with the original waiter. The place wasn't particularly busy at the time, but there were a lot of cocktails going out. Remainder of food came out after a short time, and one of the small plates was incorrect, to which the waiter rectified after me pointing it out. I'm not sure if the member of staff serving us today was new or not, I didn't get his name, or whether our experience would have differed with a different server or the manager who were both very helpful when they did come over. I think communication between staff could be better from observation. Overall, the quality of food was good, and the final bill was cheaper than I expected, but the service could have been better. It's an aesthetically pleasing venue that would be great for cocktails with friends, but I personally wouldn't recommend it for families.

Felt like I was on holiday in the sun, good food, cocktails and a lovely server called Remsy. Definitely coming back.
