A great little cafe with a great choice of food. Service is friendly and attentive. Good value for money and very welcoming. The cafe has a lot of character and is clean. The food was very tasty and well presented. I would thoroughly recommend this brilliant cafe!

The new owners of this café have made the brilliant choice of keeping all the amazing things that worked before and adding to them in a very positive way. Food continues to be excellent quality and service is really friendly and welcoming. We will most certainly keep returning and it is our local number 1 for breakfast!

Lovely café with a nice atmosphere. The English breakfast is delicious with a nice touch of choosing how you would like your eggs and what bread you would prefer. My partner said his fried eggs were the best eggs he’s tasted in a long time! Quick service too.

We were looking for somewhere to get a bite to eat and not too busy as we had a baby in a pram. We were the only customers at that time (about 15:30). Very attentive server, took our drinks order - pot of tea for two and an oat milk cappuccino (60p extra for non dairy milk). As we perused the menu the server recommended some items. Apparently the eggs Benedict us to die for, but we had our eyes on a toastie. We chose a chorizo and cheese panini, bbq pulled pork with cheddar toastie and a toasted tea cake with jam. Everything is made fresh to order and when ours came we halved the panini and toastie so we could have the best of both worlds. The panini was delicious with spicy chorizo and salty cheese but the toastie was on another level. That pulled pork was almost as good as mine! We couldn’t taste the cheese but we didn’t miss it, that pulled pork was devine. When we’re in the mood for a toastie we’ll be heading back as the chicken, cheese and jalapeño sounds yummy.

me and my wife paid a visit to this lovely place this week ,to try a healthy option meal . Their smoothie was out of this world ,lots kale and healthy stuff packed in ,then I had the most amazing prawn sald with avocado ,cucumber ,kale ,boiled eggs , red onions ,tomatoes etc ,well presented and fresh ,we will be back everything was at a reasonable price as well

So, My Experience in Chimney Pot was really good, I had a Bacon Sandwich And yeah it was good, I highly recommend it too

Lovely healthy food on offer. Varied menu with options for vegetarians too. You can add a very indulgent frappe or smoothie if you fancy a treat. Very friendly staff, really clean and good value for money. Perfect for a nice breakfast, lunch or brunch!!

A nice cafe, quality food, clean and they tidy up promptly after people leave. My only concerns are that there was a small hair about 2cm long in my sandwich. I'm sure that this isn't their usual standard though. They also gave me a cup which had a large but not deep chip where you would normally drink from if you lift the cup with your right hand. Maybe I'm being picky, but I have to mention it. I would have otherwise given them 5/5.

New find for us after visit to Co op Post Office. Staff very helpful and polite, food was more than adequate, and premises very clean.. We had jacket potato with BBQ Pulled Pork and Jacket Potato with Tuna mayo, both very enjoyable. Also serves breakfast and light lunches. As locals we will be visiting again.

Visited for brunch, as per previous visits great breakfast! Friendly service, nice surrounding and just top notch food, nicely cooked and presented. And generous portions. Highly recommended.

My partner and I visited The Chimney Pot today and were delighted by the delicious, fresh, quality food that was provided at a very reasonable price . Even though the tea room was very busy, the owners were polite ,friendly and courteous, the place was spotless. Would highly recommend it, if you can get a table!!

We have a brunch in the Chimneys Pot most weeks, absolutely fabulous food, we can not Fault the hospitality we receive, incredible food ,the milk shakes are out of this world, pleasant Banter, a real treat to visit there, the best coffee shop we have visited in a long time, Well done girls

Had the most amazing food and drink at The Chimney pot in Herne Bay today setting us up for our days travels. Everything was more than perfect with the best food, drinks, banter, comfort and customer service you will find anywhere. Not just saying that as it was just out of this world. We popped in for a coffee ,ordered 4 drinks and 2 slices of cake. Whilst waiting a waitress came up and said if anyone came in and wanted food we would have to move. Why? Does cake not class as food.?. This was at 11 in the morning, ,maybe could understand it at lunchtime as taking up a food table but this is a coffee shop! She also began clearing the table whilst we were sitting there ,it made us feel very unwelcome.. We will be voting with our feet and not going again.

Called in for lunch whilst visiting the area. Can highly recommend it, the food was fresh, tasting and filling. Can highly recommend the Brie, bacon and cranberry panini.

My partner has been trying to drag me to the Chimney Pot for ages, but I've always managed to wriggle out of it as I make it a point never to eat out in my own town! I finally succumbed one August Monday, and I'm glad I did! Relaxing atmosphere, spotlessly clean, nice decor and of course, fabulous food, service and value. I can't rate this place high enough.

Been meaning to write a review for ages and now in lock down have time to do so. So...this is the 1st place I will be wanting to go back to once lock down over. I go every few months for breakfast...without exception it's always delicious. ..I have vegetarian option and it's so filling and fresh...and the poached ego always perfect. ..very important I think! Decaf coffee one of best I have eating out. I live in Whitstable and can honestly say there is nowhere so reliably good here...well worth a 15 minute journey to get there.

I don’t go here often but when I do I always enjoy it. One of the best lunches in herne bay. The lady is always friendly and the food is always good. Lots of choice of different cakes. And the freak shakes are to die for!!

Me, my mum and dad went here for breakfast this morning and it's brilliant!! No grease whatsoever! Mum had a eggs benedict and dad had a big breakfast, again no grease. Good atmosphere and clean tables. I will defiantly be visiting once I am in herne Bay again. Thank you chimney pot!!

We visited this cafe last week with my elderly mother and were treated wonderfully so decided to return. What a difference a week made.After taking our drinks order (and delivering them quickly), our food order was taken but thirty minutes later, no food had arrived. I asked the woman at the counter if we'd been forgotten and was told, "We had a lot of takeaway orders to deal with." As I left, she then told another customer, "It's not like we take it out of a box. Everything is cooked to order." When another customer came in, she once again complained about us, telling the customer how I had made the comment and that "we cook to order."My daughter needed to leave as her lunch break was over and actually apologized to the staff but was told that she should try phoning in another time and the food would be ready when she came in. She was thus made to feel it was her fault for having the temerity to eat in, rather than order ahead and take the food out.When I went to pay, I was asked, "Oh, did you want the takeaway box?" I said that my daughter had left already so was asked, "She's gone, or the food?" I said both and was then offered a menu. Once again, the suggestion was made that an order is phoned in next time. I said that, had we known that takeaway orders would be given priority over eat-in customers, we could have decided whether or not to stay for food. I was once again told that food was made to order. I said that I understood that but still we had to wait over 30 minutes before food arrived, with no explanation. While having the discussion, the staff member was updating the phone number on the menu. She passed it to me and said, "Take it or don't take it"For a business that forms part of the service industry, we were treated as though we were just a complaining irritation. Suffice to say we will not be returning.

The breakfast was excellent, best we have had for a very long time. Great ingredients and eggs cooked perfectly. Service was very good too. Will return.

We have now had many opportunities to eat here and we have to say this is our favourite local place for breakfast. Ingredients are first class quality and the breakfasts are excellent value and keep you going until dinner!! Best coffee we have tasted in town! We also enjoyed a slice of amazing banana cake this week! Service is excellent. We thoroughly recommend this friendly café.

Popped in here on Saturday to try and cheer up one of the kids. She had a freakshake and it was huge and she loved it. Hubby had a panini that was lovely and I had a strawberry shake. Lovely friendly staff and fresh food and drinks

We both had a full breakfast and could not fault it. Egg cooked perfectly with just the right amount of yolk, good quality bacon and sausage and toast thick and tasty.

This is a fabulous coffee shop! The coffee is excellent, the atmosphere friendly and the prices are very fair. We have yet to eat here, but it certainly will not be long before we do! Thoroughly recommend this as a relaxed and friendly venue for breakfast or lunch.

It was my friend that recommended The Chimney Pot and I was not disappointed. The service was brilliant and the waitress was very friendly. I ordered a large breakfast which was £6.50 and was well worth the money. The flat white that we ordered too was excellent.

I have been doing a bit of babysitting recently and the highlight of the day for me and the two-year-old boy I am looking after, has been lunch or breakfast at the Chimney Pot.

Had the most amazing breakfast in The Chimney Pot Coffee Shop run by very warm and welcoming staff. They were very helpful in adjusting the menu to suit our needs. The food was excellent and presented looking very appetizing. The Coffee House was well decorated and clean. We finished off with a coffee which was also adjusted to our taste. We cannot fault it in any way. The chef even came to see us to ensure that we were happy with our meal.

Been coming to this lovely coffee shop every week now for over six months and today was my 2nd visit so far this week. Fabulous fresh cooked food with quality products and excellent value,staff are just awesome, always happy and helpful. Its spotless, comfy and its just a great place to eat and relax. With my whole family we would not go anywhere else along with numerous other folks that we see there. Highly recommend.

The old waitress isn’t that old and is such a lovely lady as is all the staff and have never had a bad meal and the latte coffee is amazing top class highly recommend

Was disappointed to find that 3 unfinished milkshakes were taken away when I took my daughters to the toilet, I was then told they were finished when I asked for their whereabouts.

Dropped in on a busy Saturday afternoon. Bit of a Tardis inside with plenty of seating. Vegetarian choices good. Diner type food. Service was friendly and efficient in spite of being very busy, obviously popular with the locals!
