Lovely breakfast. Great service from Rasa!

Never had a bad meal here and the staff are lovely! Especially Rasa who served us today 🙂

I’m a regular customer - it’s testament to the staff and food that every time I come back it is reliably super! The manager - Rasa - is always professional and friendly - and focussed on customers happiness . Brilliant service as usual from all the staff. The menu changes frequently enough to stay fresh, and be enticing. This is my go-to for catching up with friends, socialising, or even a post-run brunch. Love love love! Thanks Bills.

Lovely food, polite and vibrant staff, was with my boyfriend and his dad having a catchup for christmas and felt so welcomed by our waitress Ala, one of the sides wasn’t brought out but was instantly resolved by taking it off our bill and a desert on the house, thankyou for your service :)

Went in for a meal with my partner and family, even though the restaurant was busy we were greeted promptly. Food and drinks came out quickly and were delicious, service was amazing with our server being Ala

Had a lovely Xmas meal here today, one of the better chains in Canterbury. Food was pretty good, well presented and came out swiftly... They add 12.5% service charge and I hope it goes to staff, I would prefer it to be + 10%. The one stand out part of our meal out was the friendly and attentive waitress Ala.... Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was extremely bubbly and smiley. The service makes all the difference when dining out and is pleasing to see.. keep smiling Ala 👍😁

Food can sometimes be overcooked, and any problems it will normally be replaced without fuss. Staff members top notch, good place to eat.

My friend had booked a table for 5 people for Christmas Party a few weeks ago. We were given a small table for 4 people with an extra chair to make it to 5. The table was in the corner and we literally had no space to even put our coats and bags. No staff offered to take our coats. I asked for better table but they didn't have any better options. Food was cold and tastless. I am a regular customer there but I am not sure if I fancy going back there any time soon. I must say the waiting staff were nice and attentive.

Rasa was lovely and friendly and gave us great service. We laughed with her about ordering beans xx

Food was amazing but the service was so bad we booked table 6.30 and pre ordered as well the starters didn’t come out until 8.20 which was very disappointing no response from waiters until I complained the manager taken drinks off the bill instead they just kept us waiting didn’t offer any bread rolls or alternative we was all so hungry very disappointed

We were welcomed with the wheelchair even though it was busy (graduation day). Menu was appealing with plenty of interesting choices. Food was excellent, tasty and hot. When my wife started to feel unwell, the staff were helpful and understanding - they even discounted her meal as she had not eaten much of it. Definitely recommended. Visited again 27th May 24. Staff were good, as was the atmosphere, however the food this time was not as hot as it should have been.... New visit 11th December 24. Staff good again, but unfortunately the food was again sub standard. Chicken burger was over cooked and hard, and the bun slightly burned. The breakfast brunch was not all that hot... Manager did take off the cost of the burger and some more for the cool brunch... So, although not a good experience this time, the manager did do what he could to mitigate the situation.

A lovely restaurant with a bar and different combinations of seating type allows you to experience a different type of cosy get-together around the table. There is an upstairs area that I did not see and will try this area upon my return sometime. The food was of very good quality and was nicely presented on the plate. The service was very quick and politely done, and orders were dealt with very well by our waiter. The atmosphere was nice, and the decor a little bit off the wall, sort of industrial, i would say? I was disappointed when I ordered a drink with Brandy in it and was surprised they didn't stock it and had to settle for a whisky instead. I do have to say the bottled IPA was absolutely delicious and had a lovely hoppy, fruity tang to it, which went great with my beef burger! Outside seating available for fine weather conditions on the street, the pavemented side looks great at the entrance. There are toilets available in this establishment. Overall, it was a good evening out and a very nice experience in the restaurant in the Canterbury town centre.

It's a good thing I wasn't hungry. A friend told me when I first got to the UK that Bill's was overpriced for food that was below good standards and average portions. My husband and I were hoping they were wrong, because Bill's has always looked very inviting. But we have learned our lesson tonight, we would have rather payed a bit more and gone to The Ivy over the road, or a lot less and gone to the fridges in the Sainsbury's local. I don't expect every restaurant to have amazing food. Especially if the ambience is lovely and the portions are filling, then I don't mind a bit of compromise in flavour and complexity, but Bill's just isn't worth what you pay in our experience, despite the friendly staff and nice atmosphere, my husband didn't even receive all the ingredients listed on the menu for his 'special' burger.

We popped in for breakfast before starting our Christmas shopping and were served by Sephora. Sephora was friendly and had such a lovely, fun personality which was a great way to start our shopping day! We shared a pancake stack which was delicious. Thank you Sephora!

We love it here. 2nd visit in as many weeks for brunch with the kids. The pancakes are a real hit, the breakfasts on the brunch menu very filling and service and feel of the place are great. Just remember to book ahead!

Lovely food. Great friendly service from the staff. Definitely be back. My only negative is the burgers are served on a metal tray with a piece of paper on it. As you eat this you tear into the paper so you are eating off the tray. The edge of the tray was dirty so made me wonder how clean was it where I was eating. I would ask for a plate next time. Rest of my group had Shawarmas which was on plates.

We went to Canterbury restaurant and were served by Josh who was friendly, attentive and sorted a small issue promptly and cheerily. Food was as usual great and service adds to the brilliant atmosphere.

The staff was really nice and welcoming. The interior was really cozy and nice as well. We got the £5 bottomless pancakes. It was really dry and i couldn’t even finish one plate. Not really worth it. Maybe the other items on the menu is better.

We had a meal at Bills last evening and I was extremely impressed. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, I had the 3 course set meal and it was stunning. Superb service and a really lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Absolute smashing of a breakfast! Are server Josh was an absolute legend and was very attentive when it came to making us feel welcomed and answering our questions! If you get Josh you have been blessed! Returned back again in November 2024 and Josh was our server was Josh again. Once again blessed by his efforts and being amazing as always!

Visited bills for dinner this evening and could not be happier with the food and service we received. We were welcomed by a lovely member of management at the door and were served by Romy and Josh, who were very attentive, warm and professional throughout. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed, calm and positive evening out!

We were visiting a fresher and Bills looked busy so we bowled up and they found a place for us. Three of us had a main course and a coffee for £60 including tip. The food was hot and well presented. Romy looked after us, she was friendly and efficient without being intrusive, well done.

The Maitre d who greeted us was really friendly and helpful, unfortunately the good service stopped after we were seated. Waitresses walked past us for over 20 minutes and not once stopped to take our order. We finally managed to get the attention of a waitress who told us they were too busy to take our order and that she would come back later. Two drinks took almost 40 minutes and our food was almost 50 minutes. The food was ok but definitely not worth £14.50 for a burger that tasted quite dry. A gratuity was added automatically by Bills which seemed very cheeky considering the extremely slow service from waitresses that looked completely miserable.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner tonight. I had the Sea Bass, and my two friends had the Duck Curry and a Burger. The desserts were great and the French Sauvignon Blanc really exceptional. Sophora was outstanding as our waitress. Such a happy personality, and nothing too much trouble. She was joined by her colleague, Ala, who turned out to be lovely as well. We shall definitely be returning!

Busy but we still didn’t have to wait long. Service (by Romy) was very efficient, friendly but not intrusive allowing us time to choose. Pancakes and chocolate sauce amazing! Great pre theatre brunch

Super friendly, especially to our children. We got things to paint straight away and brought us two children's apple juice with a straw for half the price. The food was absolutely delicious and the price was ok considering it was in the middle of Canterbury.
