Seaview Cafe in Canterbury

We stopped by for a quick lunch, I ordered a Jacker potato which was very nicket presented. The Burger and Chips were also very nickey done and very friendly staff. Very good prices.

In this cafe you will find excellent food and drink with very fast and efficient service. The staff are always very friendly and prices most reasonable, highly recommended.

We sat outside at a table in the shade which was pleasant and had the standard breakfast with tea and asked for toast instead of fried slice which was no issue. Service was polite and quick and attentive and the food was good, not too salty.The only thing I'd ask for next time is for the teabags to be left in the mugs as I prefer a stronger brew but at less than a fiver each this was good.

Herne Bay is spoilt for choice. We chose Seaview Cafe as we were able to park the bikes opposite and sit outside.Waitress was very attentive and efficient. 2 breakfasts, an Earl Grey and a black coffee (coffee was very good).The hash browns, bacon and eggs were particularly good. The sausage let the side down - cheap and tasteless.Nevertheless, a great breakfast for 2 people for just more than £10. Simply great value.

Very tasty breakfasts, always cooked well and served with a smile. The bacon is cooked just the way we like it (not under cooked like some places} and they make a great cup of tea.

Always use the Seaview when visiting Herne Bay and never disappointed. Food always hot and really good value. Staff always friendly.

We stopped here to have something to eat a couple of days ago. Every cafe we tried was packed and I hadn’t tried this one before. No reason behind it, just that there are so many to choose from and I’m generally a creature of habit. The fry ups we both ordered came out quickly and the server made sure my little ones had plates and cutlery so that they could share some of my food. Tables were clean and the food was nice. If you want something hot to eat, this isn’t a bad place at all.

The staff were polite and courteous and greeted us with a smileThe food was cooked to perfection, I asked for no salad and that instruction was honoured not like some restaurants.The cafe itself is very clean inside and the seats were very comfortable.Worth visiting again

This is without doubt the best cafe in Herne at reasonable prices and the food is always good I regularly go here it’s a thumbs up from me

Lovely cafe for a break on the walk around the town,either for a quick break or something for lunch.We had a baked potato and it was well prepared and was nicely presented.

Visted your cafe today and the services was very poor and member of your staff was very rude to my mum saying that she hasn't ordered anything when she had ordered with another member of staff and never even get apology my cousin spilt apple juice on the table and my old cousin wipe the Apple juice up and she come and wipe it and there wasn't even anything to wipe up as my cousin do it and every tym that member of staff come pass she kept give as dirty looks and when coming to pay we complained to the manger and he didn't even wanna know all he says I'm too busy too busy. The thing is not even a apologise from that member off staff . Don't think we will coming back again as we always come to this cafe .

Really friendly service. Good cafe food and good value for money. Only 2 downsides are having chips with the breakfast and they only accept cash but no sign anywhere!

The Seaview Cafe accepted our order and took full payment, they then did not supply all the food ordered and refused to refund for those items not supplied

Went here to avoid the rain and as we were hugely disappointed with Mortimers, thought we would give this a go. Really impressed. Quick, reliable and tasty food. And a good variety of meals on offer. A return visit is definitely on the cards.

Not a bad breakfast but you have to select it yourself for some reason every cafe seems to think everyone needs a fryup chips fried bread etc come on guys lets try something healthier

The food and service here is terrible! When they brought out my coffee it was too cold and was spilt all over my table, they didn't even bother cleaning it up. The food was not all all what I asked for and was disappointed of it being cold when I finally had my order. The staff are rude and inattentive. I do not recommend coming here and am never retiring myself to that unhygienic place.

Always pop in when in town most of the BOYS sit outside and put the WORLD to rights very good staff and always quick to be served they have a sign out at the moment OPEN all over xmas this will be great for some people try it

You know how it is, cold weather drizzle. School run etc etc what I needed was a large brunch.Chose the all day breakfast. At 5.3 pounds good value, it arrived quickly but I noted no reheated bacon here. No cardboard sausage kept warm for hours. All cooked well, and to order not greasy. And a larger than expected meal size.Tasted great and location is good if you are on the seafront up at the clock tower end. I would come back. Very clean, and basic but very satisfactory meal experience. Will keep you full from ten til dinner

Best service and breakfast in town, Ryanna always seems to put a smile on everyone's faces when she's working... Probably the best in the town. Wide menu and good breakfast for the best price. Other cafe's in town are very expensive, but Seaview is very reasonable would recommend to all.

If you want fast service, friendly staff, value for money food this is the place for you. I visit this cafe quite regularly, I work with people with disabilities, all the staff are paitent and so helpful. I also go here on mydays off aswell. I believe in supporting local businesses.

Agree with one of the earlier posters that food was very average and the sausages particularly poor compared to modern offerings that are usually local and some sort of speciality so not really impressed although staff very friendly and efficient

Very reasonably priced family food, all staff are friendly and hard workingThe liver and bacon meal is huge like all of their other meals. You can sit inside or outsideGood for a cooked breakfast as well.

I was at the Herne Bay Airshow and was looking for somewhere to have lunch. By chance I went in here and was greeted by the friendly owner. I was soon served a piping hot roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings for £5.80!Good value, friendly service and tasty food. Definitely worth visiting if you are in Herne Bay.

Everytime we visit Herne Bay this is our first stop in the morning! Service is exceptional the gentleman that runs the place always is so polite and friendly! The food is cooked to order so turns up fresh and hot and never disappoints! If you want great value food with a pleasant atmosphere then you must visit this cafe, with a 5 star food rating you can tell this place is good!!!

Stopped off for breakfast with friends, huge plate of food great cup of tea, recommend the chips! good service friendly staff, well cooked food no long waits....

Didn't really enjoy this breakfast, it was very greasy, the sausage was poor quality and bacon didn't taste of anything. Won't return, sorry.

I always come to this cafe to eat breakfast and lunch, the owner and workers are very kind and are always smiling. The food is delicious. The boss of SeaView Cafe always makes sure if the customers are happy with their food, and this why its brilliant in there.I recommend anyone to come and try the food.

Often pop in here on a Sunday for an 'Early Riser' breakfast. The food is always freshly cooked to order and the staff are really nice and friendly. We would definitely recommend this place and the wide choice of food they offer.

Seaview cafe is an excellent place to eat, always welcomed with a warm friendly face and the staff are very polite, friendly but most of all helpful, the food is excellent, the lamp chops are at their finest, roast dinners are perfection and their breakfast are delicious but moat of all their homemade pastas are the best, I would definitely recommend the Seaview cafe to go and eat, best cafe in Herne bay

The food is freshly cooked and so lovely. The staff are really friendly and will always welcome you back with a smile. The prices are fair. I would highly recommend you eat here when you visit Herne Bay. Try a cappuccino so lovely and I really don't like coffee.

Came to have breakfast as my husband was hungry we ordered a full English it was as good as we had before the hash browns was not up to the normal standard

a third visit to this café has prompted me to write this review. the café has got a wide selection of meals on offer at very reasonable prices, I had scrambled egg on toast, whilst my husband had home made steak pie and chips. Both meals were served hot and looked appetising. they also tasted very good.the café is very clean and the staff are friendly and seem pleased to see you. whilst we were there, there were several local people who also dropped by for meals and were greeted very warmly. I always think if the locals use a café this is a good sign. we will certainly visit again, when in Hearne bay.
