Me and my partner visited Keiths Coffee Hut and purchased 2 crab sandwiches. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and helpful, the 2 sandwiches both came in a takeaway box and were on thick white bread, loads of filling and served with a handful of pringles. The sandwich was tasty and fresh.

Had a great lunch at this place today after a nice walk along the seafront. Fish finger sandwiches, beef sandwich and brie and bacon toasties with Scampi on the side which they gave to my youngest as they didn't have a enough for a whole portion! Such a lovely couple running this and would certainly go back when we next go to Whitstable. Highly recommend, even if for coffee! All cooked freshed and all came out at once. Absolutely delicious. Thank you.

Best scampi I've had, but the chips weren't that great. Staff seemed to be overwhelmed by the number of customers, although it wasn't by any means full. The woman serving on the counter was especially rude to most people and couldn't add up 4.50 and 9.95 so deliberately overcharged me 15.00. Although most reviews are good, I accept that our experience might have been a one off, but I wouldn't go back.

Best crab sandwich we have ever had - that’s all I can say! Just delicious! Bacon sandwiches are gorgeous too. We will definitely be back!

Thick brown fresh slices filled with a crab mix & a few leaves & a lemon wedge. Can't be beaten. All of this from a humble wooden white wooden hut just off the shingle beach. Just a few umbrellas & outside chairs to sit on. Their food just has to be good. Don't think twice.

My mum & I stopped at this lovely coffee hut whilst on a day out in Whitstable, great little place sitting in the sunshine & great Latte too so go & enjoy!!!

Delicious crab sandwich. Loads of crab in it! Service is verrrrrrry slow. The guy taking orders is also the one making coffees so it takes a long time for the queue to move. They have pagers that buzz when your order is ready. Plenty of outdoor seating but I chose to sit on the beach and watch the windsurfers.

Excellent Crab Sandwiches. Served quickly. The brown bread was delicious. The seating is in open air but you are protected from the wind.

Lovely little hut serving breakfast/lunch. We had 3 crab sadwiches and chips - delicious and 1 cheese toastie, yummy. All on lovely granary bread. Lovely location at the harbour in Whitstable. Also had 3 milkshakes, banana, chocolate and hazelnut flavours all lovely. On a sunny day a perfect place for lunch.

Great coffee but proper ranked toasted sausage sandwich…..Sausage looked anaemic and I’m pretty sure I saw it wink at me…..Brown sauce was a bit moody as well.

Stopped off for impromptu snack at Keith's whilst wandering along the seafront. We chose a crab sandwich, which was absolutely delicious and packed with lovely fresh crab meat. Friendly efficient service. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thankyou!!

Stopped here for breakfast and were greeted by a freindly and enthusiastic owner who served reasonably price and good quality coffee and bacon sandwiches to start the day. This seems a popular place with seemingly regulars dropping bin on their jog or morning walk to sit bybthe beach and enjoy coffee also had a visit fr the very inquisitive sparrows.

While walking alomg the prom ar Whitstable, noticed that Keiths Coffee Shack had Crab Sandwich on its menu board, not a common site in Whitstable, and Keiths Coffee Shack is exactly that, a shack with no inside seating. So we were not expecting anything exceptional...

Good coffee and a friendly chat. Great for early birds like me as it opens at 8am ahead of all the other coffee places in Whitstable.

The service was a tad slow and could be improved. HOWEVER the crab sandwiches were fantastic. Doorstop thick bread with lots of crab.

Fantastic! Had a crab sandwich on white bread with lettuce and a can of Dr Pepper and we were as happy as a pig in…well you know! We will 100% go back!

We are regular visitors to Keith’s coffee Hut and coffee is always good. Best bacon rolls I have had, lots of bacon with really good sourdough roll.

Great coffee and snacks. Great smoothie! Lovely area to sit in the sunshine, the ground is slightly uneven which made a pram hard to move. Very quick and cheerful service. Would definately visit again.

Best bacon sandwich in town! Fresh thick white bread, lots of butter and a good portion of bacon in the sandwich. None of this posh bacon sandwich business with a slither for a filling. Just proper good food! Coffee good too!

Yes coffee is supposed to be hot, however so many flat whites are lukewarm and bland. This is piping hot and full of flavour. Good size cup too unlike so many other artisan type establishments nearby. Decaffeinated available and agreeable, plus a selection of dairy...

I visited Keith's on a blustery day in June. Customer service was excellent, staff friendly and efficient. Prices and waiting time were reasonable for the sea front at Whistable on a Saturday! Will return to get fish and chips next time!

This fabulous take-away fast food facility was such a find behind the Whitstable Yatch Club today.All shops in the area had been closed due to Coronavirus but this GEM of a small cafe was open to folk walking past.We ordered a lovely fish & chip lunch and hot chocolates The fish was so fresh and the food piping hot.We were served by Keith. We sat on the beach eating our lovely meal which was very reasonably priced and such a great variety of food. Thank you Keith.

Half empty and very slow service on a quiet Friday in March. Later arrivals served in front of us with no acknowledgement of our wait - extremely frustrating.

We often walk from the far end of Tankerton into Whitstable and always stop for a coffee at this hut. Very friendly and not over expensive.Recommended.

We go to Keith’s regularly after walking from Seasalter and every time the coffee and bacon sandwich is perfect. Fresh white bread and perfectly cooked bacon served with proper coffee and a smile. I keep saying I must do a Trip Advisor review and today I finally got round to it! Genuinely have to say it’s the best bacon sandwich place ever...and i have tried a few!

I go to Keith’s almost every weekend and I love it. The staff in there are so friendly and nice. The food is amazing, especially the fish and chips I think that’s my favourite. They have an amazing selection of food and drink particularly seeing as it’s a rather small place. If your in Whitsable and want to know where to go I would definitely come here. They have a wonderful seating area with table under gazebos in case it rains in winter or is hot in summer and they also have an ice cream machine although you probably would want an ice cream in this weather! If your wondering where you want to go to get a quick coffee or lunch or a milkshake I would 100% recommend here. It’s one my favourite places in Whitsable.

Good coffee and tea. Situated close to Yacht Club. Friendly and my wife said delicious coffee. My tea was piping hot, not like you get in some chains. Very fair price. Quite a few chairs outside.

Had the best bacon sarnie we’ve had for a long time! Beautifully crisp bacon on chunky tiger bread. Great tea and a lovely cappuccino! Really loved it!

A small over-the-counter place with outdoor seating under a tent right on the water. I got the cod and chips and the fish stretched all the way across the plate. I'm sure it's better when it's not sprinkling.

Treated myself to a very unheathly but delicious chip butty today at Keiths....lovely soft white thick sliced bread and butter, thick crispy fresh chips all prepared by the lovely Nicki, a really pleasant experience, sat for ages and made to feel welcome. Definitely reccommend it and theres much more than just chips!

We stopped here at Keith's cafe for a cup of tea. We found Keith's cafe very friendly with welcoming staff. Ice cream was amazing. We will return again.

After a great first visit to Keith’s with family and friends at the start of July! On the weekend of the oyster festival we decided to visit again and have to say just like the first time it was amazing. The fish was cooked to perfection and as before the service was first class. We would highly recommend Keith’s to everyone. We will be back very soon for another visit. Thankyou once again.

I was out visiting friends who live in the area. We went here every day for breakfast and coffee. They honestly do the best crispy bacon and egg sarnies ever. Friendly staff, And gorgeous coffee. A true treat that cannot be missed. Amazing prices too. Defiantly felt like home. Well done, keep up the good work and I will see you all more often when I make the move down.

Thanks to the many rave TA reviews for the fish here my family and I stopped to eat lunch and agreed the fish here is hands down the best that Whitstable has to offer!!! SO fresh, cooked perfectly in crispy coating with no oily sogginess, Keith's will now be our ONLY place for fish and chips when we're in town! Simply beach fish perfection

There are a number of eateries along the front, but Keith’s caught our eye. next to the Yacht Club, it’s not huge, and the mostly-covered seating is at a premium, but we managed to get a table just in time to eat what was going to be our takeaway. Freshly cooked, the lightly battered cod was absolutely delicious and the chips likewise. Portions were plentiful. The menu is actually very extensive but I don’t know that the cod and chips could be beaten! For £7.50 a meal, it was superb. Cold drinks are available from a small fridge by the counter. Practicalities - order at the counter, get given a ticket and wait for your number to be called. Cutlery, napkins and condiments (including mayo) are on a small table to the right, to help yourself.

Unfortunately, we'd already eaten before we came across Keith's place, otherwise we would have eaten there, as it looked good! The coffee was really good, a reasonable price & served with a smile!

Stopped for quick bite and were very happy with good sized portions of fresh battered fish strips in a taco. Staff helpful. Fish really fresh was the key. Kids had a prawn sandwich which also went down well.

Just a short walk along the beach from the wharf area, this was our choice for a light lunch as it was a nice setting adjacent to Whitstable Yacht Club and offered some shelter from the stiff sea breeze. The food was reasonably priced with generous portions. My wife enjoyed her whitebait which came with salad and lots of chips. My bacon sandwich was overflowing with bacon between thick slices of bread. Delicious but would have preferred less bacon and some lettuce or tomato instead to make it more nutritiously balanced. No criticism intended. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was even asked if I wanted my coffee strong, which I did, and it was excellent!

We had visited Whitstable a few months before but had very little time there although did eat fish and chips in another restaurant in the town when we were on our first visit.We thought that was good but it was nothing compared to Keith’s Coffee Hut.This weekend we spent the whole day at this charming town. After an hour or so we needed a coffee and rather than go to the main coffee shops, we thought it would be nice to sip caffeine on the seafront.We found this place just along from the harbour where all the yachts are moored. The weather was fine. The place is as the name suggests - a coffee hut with seating only outside with gazebos to keep off the sun.I joked I wanted the best latte the guy had made today and I was not disappointed.They serve food. We noticed whilst having our drinks that the fish and chips looked good and as we needed to eat with friends later in the day, enquired as to the closing time.4pm (ish) we were told so we returned at 3.30. There were seven of us in our group. Six had cod and chips and one ate a bacon and sausage baguette. The food was just excellent. All was freshly cooked and the fish batter was light and tasty. No grease and the chips were cooked to perfection. Portions were huge and at £7.50, very good value.Apart from the food, there is, in my opinion, another good reason to visit this place and that is the staff. They were such good fun and very friendly and helpful.We got talking to the young lad who brought out the meals and cleared and cleaned tables. He was just great and it was so refreshing to see a student working hard to earn money and yet, at a young age, engaging well with his customers. It was a joy to watch and be served by him.So, give the place a try. Based upon my experience, you will love it!Well done Keith’s Coffee Hut. You get my vote.

We have eaten at Keith’s before during 2018 and it had good food reasonably priced and very tasty it was too.Visited Keith’s on Tuesday this week. The quality of food is even better than last year and of restaurant quality.Thanks go to Keith and his hard work ladies. Simply first class.

We love Keith’s. It’s informal, friendly, and on the beach almost. The Cod and chips are delicious. Cooked to order. Cod tacos are lovely too. Can’t wait to go back

Six of us stopped off for brunch and had some great food and really excellent service from the whole team. Keith checked we knew all the tourist sites to look at, and they coped with various dietary requirements without any fuss. Great start to the day.

Stopped for a light bite and had the fish tacos. They were very very good, cripy fish goujons, salad, coriander beautifully dressed with a not too spicy salsa served with a wedge of lime. Truly scrummy. Lovely location by the sea friendly efficient service. The cafe was buzzing which is always a good sign and the fish and chips looked amazing. One review got hung up on using Aldi condiments, the majority of Aldi products are very much superior to branded equivalents. Would highly recommend this cafe for lunch.

Looking for some real local food, we stopped here, on our walk along the sea-front. There was a really long wait, but we thought it would be worth it. Sadly, we were disappointed. The only good thing was the fish.As some of us couldn't eat the fish, due to it being beer battered, we had a sausage & chips and a bacon and sausage sandwich. The sausages were extremely poor quality. Why on earth don't you use your local butcher? The chips were awful and, even the ketchup and mayonnaise were from Aldi.Come on Keith. You are a local fish & chip shop. Real potatoes, real sausages, real ketchup, etc could cost a few pence more, but your customers are worth it.

The fish from Keith's was absolutely delicious, but unfortunately other items let it down. The chips appeared to be frozen rather than fresh andthe sausage and bacon butty was average at best. Portions were pretty small too and there weren't sufficient staff to serve and clear tables.Left feeling pretty disappointed, but as stated above, we couldn't fault the fish.

We stopped here for a nice cold drink and weren’t disappointed, it was busy time of day and there was a wait for food, which didn’t effect us, but it was politely explained that all food was freshly prepared, which I would rather wait for, going by the food that was being served to customers it looked worth the wait and generous portions too....when we next visit I would definitely give the food a try

We stopped here on a sunny day for lunch. While we were advised that there was a wait, the food came out pretty quickly.We had the salt N pepper squid and prawn tempura. Both were delicious. We also had a portion of chips which were very large. Good value lunch particularly given location.None of the food was greasy and the service was friendly. Saw a few people having fish and chips and the portions looked generous.Would recommend visiting this nice family run restaurant.

Found this lovely place with the other half whilst looking for a quick bacon sarnie and coffee for breakfast. Exactly what we needed as a break from the famed seafood of Whitstable, though the fish on offer looked very appealing all the same!

Walking along Whitstable seafront you see lots of restaurant and eateries and then we stumbled upon Keiths Coffe Hut. I can highly recommend this place good value and great food, the prawn tempura was loverly and great quick service as well :-)

Before even finishing our cheese and ham paninis we knew they were absolutely delish and just had to write a review. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. My boyfriend and I will definitely be returning with the dog again soon, to enjoy more great food :)

Maybe we’d been unlucky but all the food we’d eaten out on our five day stay in Kent was dreadful. Then we stumbled on Keith’s and had the very best, freshest fish and chips we’ve eaten in a long time. Service was friendly and fast although I should imagine it might get slower if it’s really busy. So glad we found this place.

I have been a regular at Keith's Coffee Hut for at least five years. I like a double shot strong Americano. Whether it is Keith, Mick or Nicky it is always made to my taste. Very friendly always up for a chat.

We visited Keith’s hut and we were underwhelmed by the quality of the food. Shocking calamari, chopped in pieces I have never seen before, fried in some oil that needed to be change hours ago,therefore very difficult to digest. Also we ordered fish tacos, total disappointment as, basically were tasteless cod coujons, a bit of salt would have help, wrap in a cold tortilla you just get out of the package. And the prawns, also they seemed to be straight out from a Iceland package. To top it up the service was very slow, in spite not being busy. So definitely not going back.

Stumbled across this place as we were going for a walk, staff were very friendly, we ordered (very good) coffee to take away, but ended up sitting as the seating area was beautiful and sunny - will be back to try the food as menu looked yummy!

This place is one of the “must visit” things to do. Fish and chips to die for!!

Lovely friendly service, right on the beach by the Yacht Club. A huge freshly cooked piece of delicious cod with fabulous crispy chips. The Hot Chocolate was properly made with milk too! Totally recommend!

We have eaten here many times, great service always fresh food and cold drinks - there are a few seats to be had but in peak times its very busy, also a lovely view of the sea too!

Under umbrellas just off the beach by the Yacht Club, brilliant 'fast' but good quality food, or just excellent coffee & tea etc. I often have a bacon sandwich and also thoroughly recommend the fish & chips, - only have a big one if you're hungry!
