Habiendo visto muchas publicaciones sobre la Cabaña de Cronin, decidimos probarlo. Puedes ver cuán popular es, por la cantidad de clientes que tenían mientras estábamos allí. La comida era fresca y muy sabrosa. Los bollos eran increíbles. Demasiado para que comiéramos allí, y terminamos tomando el pastel en las cajas que nos proporcionaron. El servicio fue rápido y amistoso. Sin duda volveremos a este pequeño y encantador lugar.

I ordered through Uber Eats, where I can't seem to rate my order, so doing it here. The chips were barely cooked, not nice at all. The to-fish was soggy and the mushy peas tasted disgusting, and smelled worse. The pickled gherkin was nice though! Most of my meal went straight in the bin, and i won't bother ordering again. (I didn't have experience of the serive or atmosphere, so went half way with the stars). Photo of anaemic chips and gross peas in the bin.

I was looking forward to trying this place after reading some good reviews, but unfortunately I found the food to be quite disappointing. Firstly, I’m not sure why Uber and Deliveroo orders are prepared at two separate locations. It would have made more sense for my order to come from the Hove branch, as this shop is closer to me, but instead it was prepared at their Boundary Road shop, which is further out the way and meant that the food arrived only slightly warm. The chicken burger was very mediocre for the price—slightly too salty, with no real flavour to it apart from the sauce. The chips on the other hand, were the opposite. They seemed to have no seasoning whatsoever. I had hoped the cheesecake might redeem the meal, but unfortunately, it didn’t. It was meant to be a “baked” cheesecake, but it seemed to just disintegrate in my mouth, and the texture wasn’t enjoyable at all. I don’t usually write reviews, but for a £10+ burger and a £4.50 cheesecake, it really felt like a waste of money. I’m unsure if the Hove branch would be any better, but I wouldn’t consider ordering again.

We continued using Spicy Wife after they took over New Star which we had very happily used for years. Food was very good but very poor service. Whilst I appreciate it was busy of NYD, food was around an hour late and when phoning to chase, CS was very poor, with us just being told it was coming soon and on the last call, the phone was put down. In credit, when the food arrived it was good, fresh and hot. If we knew it would take longer than normal, we could have managed that. Based on this, we won't be back.

Overall, I would not recommend this pub to anyone looking for a good time. The poor service, staff very rude , subpar food and drinks, and lack of cleanliness make it a place to avoid at all costs.

Dined alone and felt a bit uncomfortable the whole time as one of the waiters was staring the whole time. The food was really good, but might have to stick to only takeaways from here.

The food was amazing. I'm usually a ketchup and eggs person but I had the Buondi feature frittata and it was so good, no ketchup required. Abdominal was my waitress and she not only knew the menu but did superb service. Great place, great food, amazing staff.

We had an early dinner and we were the only diners so the restaurant lacked atmosphere. They were however a stream of deliveries going out so it looked good We have a very tasty meal with all the dishes of good quality

Oh i love love love this place! ❤️ I ordered the wonton soup, and beef chow mein, and it was so tasty and lovely i can’t wait to go back 😊 The woman who served us was very kind, and the waiting seat was incredibly comfy! actually a little comfier than my sofa at home 😂 I loved the noodles they were piping hot lovely flavours lovely tender beef the wonton soup was wonderful perfect lovely flavourful soup and tasty lovely dumplings 🥟 after my meal i felt full satisfied and nourished (how one should feel after some lovely Chinese food) 5/5⭐️ (Though i’ll admit some of the other reviews i’ve seen on here scare me a bit, chicken most certainly should not be served pink! i hope that’s not real oml )

We recently enjoyed a fantastic family roast at the railway and I have got to say it was superb. The roast was delicious, I had the beef and would highly recommend. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to our next visit 🥳 thank you Railway
