A friendly and vibrant pub near Portslade train station.

Months ago I left a pretty bad rating on the pub, have been multiple times since and it's been pretty full, lively and a really good laugh, so I've adjusted my rating to reflect that, look forward to going again.

Had to revise my opinion as gave it a poor review previous time I came in. It's a time warp sort of pub and when its busy it has a very 80s/90s feel to it. Had a great night out last time I visited.

Enjoyed the £3.50 a pint, shame that's ended but still a marvellous pub

Enjoyed a fun evening of karaoke here.

Great place plenty tv screens for sport service was fantastic and friendly .is I stayed locally would certainly make this my local

Bit enclosed and dingy. Staff a bit abrupt but alright, ok place if you just want a quick drink though. Obviously has it's regular locals so you feel a bit like you've just walked into a bar in a western when you first walk in. not a bad place if you know people there or just want a quick drink.

My nachos took 45 minutes but the staff were nice

I’ve played here now for the 4/5 Saturdays and what a shame it’s been. The course and layout itself is fantastic and I recommend anyone to try it. But it seems the green staff don’t work Saturdays as the bunkers were in a bit of mess and the greens were slightly bobbly and fluffy but were still in a relative good condition. The course was still in very good condition and considering the weather it held up superbly but it was a shame as the little attention to detail let in down in certain aspects but again I would recommend it to play and I imagine the summer it would be lovely to play.

Never met a landlady quite like Zena. What a star. Loves her job. So friendly and keeps a very well run railway station pub. Cares for her locals and is welcoming to all. The other staff are great as well. Justin the weekend bouncer is a true gentle giant. Love this place

After jumping off a train in desperation we stumbled across the Victoria and by god we are happy we did. The atmosphere was great the staff were fab and everyone was so welcoming 🙏

Straightforward, clean, friendly pub, big on sports, with reasonably priced drinks. No food, no frills. What pubs used to be like - until gentrification took over!

Bar staff helpfull. I was there for a 60th birthday party, the door man was great, really friendly and made you feel welcome

Had a lovely Sunday Roast, a bit basic if you're expecting a gastro-pub, but great value for money. Dog friendly.

Traditional pub,very good service, great place to watch the match and they show horse racing too. Not a gastro pub which is great.beer and sport,what more do you need on match day.

What a wonderful and amazing and kind and happy and caring and friendly and loving people who work there and a good old fashion family pub as well and the toilets are so clean and smelling beautiful and the food is so fresh and clean and the drinks are lovely and you got a lovely view as well At night time in the victory it comes alive with happiness and laughter and dancing it's such a wonderful pub people say hello to you when you go there its just like cheers on channel 4 ( everybody knows your name ) so come on down to the victory pub and be welcome in .

Walked in and the obvious locals automatically made us feel unwelcome and starred us out. Bar staff then swore at us when my 30 odd friend (with his kid) laughed about being ID. Completely unwelcoming and unacceptable.

Decent pub sport. Various tellies showing the football and other sports. One the only pubs left that I know of that has a dart board as well as pool table. Both of which are free!!! The beer is also very reasonably priced. Great little boozer.

Traditional style pub that has had a nice makeover in recent years. Has a good selection of drinks, but not exhaustive. Great venue for sports as there are screens dotted everywhere. Has regular live music, disco or karaoke nights on Friday or Saturday, and a regular quiz night on Sundays. They also serve some really good pub grub, burgers, fish & chips, all are reasonably priced.

felt like i was walking into a wild west saloon, not in a good way, IT WENT SILENT AND EVERYBODY STARED felt about as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit. the lemon was so rotten it made me more sick than the tequila, literally a lemon shaped blob of slime.
