The best restaurants in Regency Brighton and Hove South East

It's been... EIGHT YEARS since my wife and I did afternoon tea here. Before tea, which was excellent, I had Bloody Mary at the bar. I still talk about it, hopefully all this time it's still made the same way - the mix was made on the spot by the bar tender. Hope to return someday.

Was so looking forward to eating authentic Spanish food but was sorely disappointed. The food was awful - no seasoning at all and not that authentic. The paella was dreadful - cooked in the morning and reheated when ordered - a plate of stodgy rice. I would avoid this restaurant as the reviews do not reflect the experience we had or others that we have spoken to.

We went along to 64 Degrees for their pasta pop up and it was incredible! We tried 4 different pasta dishes with some delicious side dishes and all were amazing - though hats off to the lasagne! Will be returning to try the taster menu!

Best sausage rolls i ever had, nice selection very friendly service perfect for breakfast or a snack nothing but good things to say about this place If you like a good authentic sausage roll this is the only place to go

I ordered a large cake for my partner's big gay birthday party this last week- a huge vegan lemon cake with lots of decoration and a photo printed in icing. (See the photo for a laugh). Not only was the cake stunning and perfect looking, it also tasted incredible!! Super moist and delicious. All of the guests were raving about it and going back for seconds! I'm so grateful to you and we'll absolutely be ordering again. Thank you so much!

Came in for breakfast on a sunny Sunday morning. Welcoming staff and great service. Breakfast menu had lots of different and traditional choices. I had the 'fried chicken and karaage waffles' and it's the best breakfast I've had in a very long time. Hubby had the 'little Britain' option and he was very happy too. Definitely coming back. Thank you for the best end to our stay in Brighton.

Good food but be aware that eating in is more expensive than takeaway and you wouldn't realise this until you reach the till to pay.

Very unsafe place for women, lots of men just staring at the women on the dance floor and approaching them throughout the night. Also the bouncers are very rude, disrespectful and ego driven.

The best BEST burger in Brighton. Seriously. You will not be disappointed. So so delicious.

My honest experiences at Roosters Piri Piri Brighton branch have been amazing. The food that I ordered (Chicken wraps, fries, Piri Piri chicken strips etc) from their menu is fresh and has the full taste of flavour. The staff are friendly and the service has been fast as they completed the order in 10 minutes even when I returned to shop to collect my order later than 10 minutes my order was ready on every occasion that I have visited. And when I went to the shop to eat in the order did not take that long. I have definitely enjoyed every occasion of ordering food for Dining in and take away. They even give discount to students providing that you show them your college or university identification card and for police and NHS staff as shown in the photo. The price of the food is reasonable. I will be returning and I would definitely recommend.

Lovely Chinese food ,my favourite is the crispy pork belly,wife's fav5us the sea baß with garlic without bones ,apettizer crispy crab,satisfied tummy

We came in for a few drinks, I asked for a glass of Sauvignon. We were surprised that the cost came to £3 more than expected. We queried this, at which point the bar maid said that they didn't have that particular Sauvignon, so had poured another more expensive wine. We didn't want to pay the extra cost, as it wasn't what I ordered. So, she asked if I wanted an alternative, at which point she threw the glass of wine out and replaced it in 2 parts, which were ends of bottles into the same glass. This felt petty, wasteful and was a vindictive response. We won't be coming back.
