Really nice atmosphere, good service, unique food options with lots of vegetarian and vegan options - there was a vegetarian option for every meat option.
Very disappointed by this restaurant that had been recommended to us.
First negative : there is an unavoidable supplement on the main dish
The set menu price is listed as £85 but minimum supplement per fish for the main was £52
Second negative : you have to wait about 30 minutes between each course.
When you book your table you have no choice for the time, they ask you to come at 7pm sharp and they warn you that they won't keep your table for more than 5 min ! But then they leave you waiting for 30 minutes for the first course and each following course takes another 30 mins to arrive. So when your main course arrives after 3h30min you are obviously not hungry anymore and are not able to enjoy the meal you paid the extra money for…
We ended up finishing the meal at 11pm so 4 hours after we arrived.
The food was good and the waitress were lovely, but the long waits between each course destroyed the entire experience. We also found it quite inconvenient as a group of five, that most courses came in plates to share. After waiting for so long, we would have appreciated to have one plate each. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

I went to oowee the other day as I am vegan myself and was met with a variety of choice and was helped greatly by a lovely member of staff called Sapphire. She explained the menu to me and picked out ‘the other side chick’ which I really enjoyed. Thank you Sapphire, I will be coming back!
Very disappointing meal. This restaurant started out very well in 2023-24 but seems to have gone downhill. The service was chaotic, the food second rate with non fresh and cheap ingrediants, the bill was wrong and overall this is a poorly run restaurant. We thought we were going to have a nice meal, but this was a cheap noodle joint with stale sushi. Plus queues of delivery drivers, with bags sitting and waiting for them for longer than seemed to make any qualitative sense. Avoid at all costs.

Devastated is an understatement.
This place was a god send and I was hoping I'd never see the day it closed.
Vurger was my go to. It followed me through many new homes, jobs, celebrations, lunch breaks, dates and hangover healing.
Even my meat loving colleagues loved getting this as a take out.
The gluten-free free vegans (and some omnivores) will miss you dearly. Heartbroken 💔
*Big sad sigh*
Mind blowing Sunday roast!! We tried the pork belly with the crackling skin, the dry aged beef, and the slow roasted lamb.
The pork belly was my absolute favorite! The beef was my husband and my cousin's favorite. Perfectly cooked, seasoned exceptionally, and just the best roast I've had in Brighton so far.
We were worried about the lack of flavor, but was worried for nothing. The flavor hit hard from the meats, to the gravy, to the potatoes!
9/10
The only thing I didn't like was their Yorkshire pudding. I normally enjoy it, but this place it was kind of dry and bland. I hope they work on it because I will definitely give it another go!
I searched for breakfast near me, I wanted to try a new cafe, so I found this one.. hot and well made tasty breakfast( I had pouched eggs on toasted muffin with bacon and grill tomatoes 7.90£) clean place, lovely staff 👌🏻🌺
Definitely we’ll be back!
