A big group of my friends and I came down for the weekend to see the bikes and found this halal fish and chip shop with friendly faces all over, who are all very helpful, will 100% be back with my family soon.
Precioso café, con un bonito espacio al aire libre lleno de plantas. Pasa una buena cantidad de tráfico, pero eso no se puede evitar.
Tenía un batido muy agradable y un croissant, y el servicio era impecable.

The lady was very unfriendly.
The café was empty. I ordered two coffees and waited 15 minutes at the table, which I thought was strange. I went to the counter and instead of making my coffee she was frying rissois. She didn't even apologize or justify herself.
Never again.

Ordered two pizzas from papa stefano’s, and they were both delicious and fresh. Only criticism would be more pineapple on the Hawaiian pizza. Would defo recommend and will defo be returning.
So I got hooked in by the all-day breakfast!
I had a very enjoyable but somewhat guilty and non dietary brunch, which was very tasty.
My motivation in writing this review is more about the warm service and greeting I received. If this was my local, I'd be in there all the time. There is a wider menu too for lunch/evenings. Please do support them.
I am writing to follow up as one of the guests who dined at your restaurant on Saturday, 22 March. Thank you for your detailed response—I appreciate you taking the time to address my concerns and provide further context.
While I understand that it was a busy evening, I must clarify a few points. Although the waiting times in my initial review may have been somewhat exaggerated in frustration, the extended delay in receiving something as simple as tap water was indeed excessive. Despite the restaurant being full, I noticed at least two staff members who appeared unoccupied, with one seemingly using their phone at the bar. This gave the impression that the delay was due to inattentiveness rather than the busyness of the service.
Regarding the gluten-free pizza, while I appreciate that your dough is made fresh—a rarity that those with coeliac disease or gluten intolerance greatly value—the execution was disappointing. The base was undeniably undercooked and soggy, making it inedible. While I understand the complexities of working with gluten-free dough, offering a product so far below standard diminishes the experience for those with dietary restrictions. It reduces what should be an inclusive offering to something that feels like an afterthought, making it unfair for those simply wanting to enjoy the same quality of food as others.
Additionally, the solution of providing a bowl of melted cheese instead of remaking the pizza immediately was both impractical and disheartening. It felt like a makeshift fix rather than a genuine effort to resolve the issue.
Finally, while I acknowledge the gesture of charging my power bank as a courtesy, this was neither necessary nor relevant to the issues at hand. It did not compensate for the poor dining experience, and mentioning it as though it were an exceptional service gesture felt somewhat disingenuous.
I do appreciate your willingness to engage with feedback, but I stand by my overall disappointment with the visit. I hope you are able to take this feedback constructively and make the necessary improvements to ensure better experiences for future guests.
Kind regards
