Absolutely no bad words for this place, great and cold beers, the mulled cider was super flavorful, and the food of course was amazing. The baos were so fluffy and tasty, the loaded fries were a recommendation from someone who had already been and it did not disappoint.

Baos were delicious! We had the pork belly one and it was succulent and soft. The bun was lovely and fluffy. The baby bao fries were only okay. They were a bit greasy. The spicy chicken was also only okay as it was mostly batter. But it was super crispy. We went for lunch on Thursday and it was not full but the music was a bit loud. This is expected because it is a pub. Super friendly service! I will definitely go back for the baos!

Have eaten here a couple of times now and will definitely be repeating. Tried the shredded chicken, pork & pork balls bao, pickles, smoked tofu houmous & the miso ice cream doughnut- All super super delicious & really well made! Has a kick where it needs to & really addictive

Solid 4 star choice over here! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I went for a chicken bao and a tofu one, I'd definitely recommend the Mongolian chicken 🍗 option over the tofu! But all in all top place for a quick lunch! 👌🏽

My recent visit to Baby Bao was great culinary adventure! The mushroom bulgogi bun quickly became my favorite, a perfect balance of flavors that left me wanting more. We came back here after 3 or 4 years because we remembered how amazing the food was... And it didn't disappoint. So good I could cry. The gochujack mc and cheese balls were delicious. As well as the rest of the meal to be honest.

A bit disappointed after reading all the amazing reviews from previous customers, small bite for me with clearly not well done pork which I have to leave for the rubbish. Pub is great atmosphere.

Funciona como los pubs ingleses, si llegas y te sientas nadie te va a atender, tienes que encontrar primero una mesa y después ir a pedir a la barra

Essayé un bao au porc. C'était le premier de ma vie et je n'ai donc pas de point de comparaison... J'ai trouvé ça bon mais c'est pas bien gros... Donc un peu cher compte tenu de son tarif de 7GBP. Total de 12GBP environ avec une bière, elle, excellente.

If I had the unfortunate circumstances of having to chose my last meal on earth, the mushroom bao bun would be it. Hands down. Unbelievably delicious.

3 items of pure deliciousness, we went for panko squash and the mushroom one , and some fries, , the Bao's are around £7 each and are much larger then ones we have had elseware , to top it off the pub itself is great with loads of great beers and lovely staff , we went for a cider been a sunny day and they are dog friendly too

had an excellent meal! the food incredible and the people who work thereare absolutely lovely! ended up forgetting my sunglasses but one of the girls noticed and managed to get them back to me before I'd even noticed! I really appreciate how they went above and beyond for us! :)

Baby Bao at The Pond is one of the best places to eat in the whole of Brighton. Soft and fluffy buns, flavourful fillings and creative sides. Get the loaded house fries, you won’t be disappointed.

Love the food, the Vegan options are delicious. It is difficult to get a table (probably because the food is so good) and the beer's a bit pricey but a really nice place to drink and eat.
