The best restaurants in South East

Went to visit and restaurant is no longer open, despite Google and Facebook pages saying it is. Please update the information about this restaurant so others are aware and don't waste their time visiting

Popped in tonight for a beer. I think there might have been a birthday party going on. Clearly lots of locals. I thought the whole idea of the micro pub was to make everyone feel welcome. Not one person spoke to me not even the landlady. I felt like I was sitting in someone's front room not knowing anyone. Shame the beer was good. Not for me. Rather be anonymous in a bigger pub. I left this review on Monday. When I first went in I didn't realise there was a party going on. It was only when the food arrived, after I sat down with my pint, did the penny drop. I now realise that it was nice of them to let me in and the landlord was having a well deserved rest and chilling with his friends. I appreciate that my review was unfair. I'd like to give it another go. If I'm welcome back of course. I'm sorry for an offence caused. It's clearly a very popular micro pub with a large loyal fan base.

The most inedible fish and chips I have ever had the misfortune of tasting! Do not eat here. You will be very disappointed, massive shame as the team are lovely!

Nice burgers, chicken kebabs decent, the rest of the menu is average. Ideal location and seems to be well run and clean. Update 06/24 - had a meal from here again and really good, would recommend phoning with your order in advance

Fantastic food, is our first choice in takeaway! Also dine in too, with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Service is amazing, I am very fussy and they have always done very well at accommodating for me. Highly recommend, little gem of a restaurant!!

The food here is so good for the price. More family-friendly and affordable than the other restaurants in Chesham, but better quality than the cheaper options. They support local events too. Service with a smile and free poppadoms with dips! Thank you

The prices are good here, but the food is overly sweet... what should be deep, spicy, umami and delicious curries have been overdone with some sort of added sweetener, even things like the Rogan Josh were just far too sweet.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch and coffee today after taking our dogs for a walk. It is such a wonderful place and there is plenty of choice on the menu, plus additional produce and gifts to purchase. So, well done to the staff and attendees who work there. It made us smile to see the centre attendees so happy 😊

I gave them one feedback once regarding a product. It was soggy. I told them when the food was good too. But since my last negative feedback, the refused to serve me everytime I would make an order. All the time. Seems vindictive. Well done in taking in constructive criticism 😔. Really disappointing. I will never order again. And would not recommend them either. Although it is too bad as they are the only roumanian restaurant in the area...

The holy Trinity Church in the entire congregation have been so wonderful to me until today I was just turned away for being 10 minutes late I'm just trying to get some bus passes to be able to get back and forth to my new job I have no way to get there and no money for an Uber I was told that there's no one to call that the time is over and I am out of luck I was brushed off without even a second thought by Peter who answers the phones in the door I even called to try to speak to someone else to see if there was any way I could get any help and I was told know there is no one to call. I find this so hard to believe. never know what they're going through

Charming pub! Sun trap garden, local beers and ciders at incredibly fair prices. If you are walking in the area, it’s well worth going slightly out your way to come here.
