The best restaurants in South East

Such a lovely local with the nicest people! Food and service was wonderful and the owners have the cutest dog. Great drinks selection too - a small but perfect wine and beer list and some lovely coffee too. Definitely worth going on a winter's evening for dinner or a quick drink.

So very disappointing. Spend your money elsewhere.

We have been going to Ludos for drinks for a while now. Their cocktails are always great. My favourite is the Paloma! It has such a warm vibe to the place and there's always so much going on! Highly reccommend

Wonderful traditional English pub. Lovely staff and great service. Food was delicious and reasonably priced.

We had breakfast here. The service was very good as was the breakfast apart from the toast which was soggy and whatever was spread on it did not taste very nice at all.

I treated my parents to lunch at The Ringlestone yesterday and we had the BEST time. From start to finish the service by the Manager was fantastic, he was so friendly and helpful. And wow the food was amazing !!! My Dad said its the best meal he has eaten at a pub, and for my Dad to say that, is a very big complement!! It was so lovely and Christmassy inside as well with the fires going. The homemade mulled wine was delicious too. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend a visit to The Ringlestone.

Had Sunday lunch here on 13/10/2024 with our visitors from Scotland. It was delicious and exceptional value for money. Great real ale to. Service and friendliness of both staff and customers excellent. Highly recommend.

This is the place to go for coffee, because they put coffee in your coffee, unlike costabomb up the road!

Where to start, the traditional taftoon bread was the shop bought pita bread, all of the starters tasted like manufactured and put on the plate with ridiculous prices. Rice portions super small. Overall I would rather have a sandwich than eating at Persian Lounge.

Fantastic wedding venue! Staff are very welcoming and the food absolutely amazing. The venue itself is really stunning with a nice outdoor area along the canal.

They use toxic vegetable oil to fry the chips and fish. Proper chippies use traditional beef dripping which is not a hazard to health. The longer the oil is cooked and the higher the cooking temperature, the more toxins will form. Dr. Decker explains that when it comes to toxin production, “the biggest risk factor is deep frying the oil.”
