The most wonderful roast I’ve had and the staff were friendly welcoming and knew their trade

Nice venue,very busy,too much going on at once,went for a fortieth,food bit bland,chicken was anemic,meant to be open till eleven thirty,closed at 10 pm, apparently this happens all the time,fake complaints I was told

Great pizza on a Monday and nice to sit outside with a drink while the kids play on the swings and slide.

Had a great night out with an Abba tribute band. Staff were lovely, friendly and attentive and the pizza was fab. Drinks were reasonable (we only bought soft drinks)

My brothers and nephew took me to the Manor for a birthday pizza. Fantastic, delicious, and definitely worth a repeat visit. We used the Manor before for my mothers wake. They were unbelievably accommodating, and the food was great.

A huge thank you to everyone involved. A family party in the teepee was brilliant. Outstanding barbecue in lovely environment. You all worked so hard and were so kind. A really good birthday bash! What a fab spot! People smiling everywhere, both customers and staff alike. Sat outside and as it cooled the little overhead heaters in the booths were brill. Even ate outside... pizza from the proper oven, and some small bites shared was really tasty. Thank you.

Nice location but can feel a bit like they are turning on the ovens just to prepare your meal.

Really tasty fish and chips with home made mushy peas. The chips were very good. All topped off by great friendly service from Server and Co-owner Christina. Will be back to try more of the interesting looking menu!

Was passing through with my daughter and her friends on her birthday and decided to stop for lunch. I said I wasn't sitting with them as it was part of my daughters birthday day out. The staff looked after them very well (they were all under 18) and even gave my daughter a mock-tail on the house to celebrate her birthday. Can't fault that kind of decent service. I sat comfortably in the lounge watching the rugby. All in all an unexpected and pleasant surprise. The girls liked the food and the bill was reasonable.

Food good. No atmosphere virtually empty by 8.30 pm. service not the best. Drinks taken to wrong table to start with then at the end of the meal I ordered a black coffee which was forgotten so had to asked again and then they brought a white coffee. Felt like they could wait for us to leave even though it wasnt late.

I took my mum for an impromptu meal and was very fortunate to have found your establishment. The service was brilliant, very informed and friendly staff. The manager was an absolute gentleman and is doing a fantastic job. Our food was great, fresh bread, steaks cooked to perfection & absolutely lovely atmosphere to converse and take in the great vibe that you get. I will definitely be coming back to sample the fresh wood fired pizzas, wish I knew about you sooner! Thank you for a great evening!

Food very good , atmosphere cold. Staff a little uncaring. They tried to serve our drinks to the wrong table. I asked for a black coffee at the end of our meal which they forgot and on asking again they brought me a white coffee. The by 8.3p the place started to empty and we felt like they couldn’t wait for us to leave, didn’t feel welcoming at all. Such a shame

I really like it here, have been a few times and the staff remembered me and manager came over for a little chat. Really appreciate the personal touch. Lovely fire to sit by and nice ambience in the bars, the resturant is also great. Highly recommend the cheesey garlic bread!!!

We hired a gorgeous out building that The Manor have, lovely size, clean, perfect for hosting a birthday or celebration. Cristina was great and she couldn't do enough for me and my family to make the surprise for my mums 60th birthday perfect, the food went down a hit and was really tasty, all the guest had a lovely experience and we will all definitely return, thank you to everyone!

I love this place! One of the men in the village had died, it was the day of the funeral, they opened the pub early so people weren’t standing around in the cold waiting. After the funeral and wake, a lot of us headed up to the Manor, I couldn’t be more amazed at the support these guys gave for one of their regular customers who had passed! I could never recommend them enough for anything! They really do go above and beyond for their customers! Atmosphere is always amazing, staff always kind and polite, it feels like a safe place to take my children! Thank you Mario, Christina and Team! Well run restaurant and bar, you are a really great team! Malcom would of loved it🪽🤍

Shocking experience for Christmas dinner this year. After having a pre set menu and booking time, it took nearly 2 hours for the food service to begin and when it did the food came stone cold with pale roast potatoes an NO YOURKSHIRE PUDDING! Worst Christmas dinner experience and nearly ruined our family’s special day, first time I haven’t been able to eat Christmas dinner on Christmas Day. Poor Christmas menu to choose from aswell. Polite staff but very disorganised.

Came with friends and Childers for Santa night. Ordered pizza and chips, chips came after 45 minutes like warm, pizza was served 25 minutes later. Charged us 10% service charge even though we tried ti order at the bar several times due to slow table service. Charges us over £5 for a small, and I mean small portion of chips. Totally disgusted with this and service. Staff were rude and unhelpful and service terrible

Lovely Lunch. Had a lovely lunch to day at The Manor Bar. Warm welcome as always. Really lovely food. Also very cosy and warm on a very cold day.

Nice place good value food and drinks, Pizzas cooked fresh to order and very nice. Only negatives were noisy bar clientele and unruly noisy other patrons who let kids run around. Staff good and attentive, couldn't fault them or the food

What fabulous food this place has. We went for a Thursday lunch and were slightly concerned when we arrived that there were no other customers there. But we shouldn't have been worried. The food was truly wonderful - top notch ingredients and lovingly cooked. Definitely a place to go back to.

We picked this place by random to meet friends. When we arrived, some other customers had ordered pizza and they looked amazing. We ordered four pizzas and agreed they were the best we’ve had in ages. Perfectly cooked. Nice staff and good service. Worth the drive for the pizza alone!

After seeing such good reviews we were looking forward to our meal, to celebrate my birthday. I had a veg burger, which was tasteless, and not made on site. ( I asked) My daughter had a chicken burger, and she was equally un impressed. And my husband had pork ribs and chips, they did bring him Some coleslaw , which he especially requested, he said his meal was ok, But sadly we will not go back , as we found it mediocre , at best.

5 star service and food. We was treated like family by the owner and staff who could not do enough for us and was only to happy to explain how the food is sauced local and made to a special recipe. All set in a beautiful setting

Great looking place with beautiful light everywhere. Very friendly staff around, but not the waitress who was in charge of our table. When we ordered a bottle of Crémant, lady brought a Pink Prosecco with the words "it's definitely Crémant", which obviously isn't, we refused, asked for white wine, which was on special, they brought us red wine Pinot Noir, which was also absolutely different, when the waitress went to change it she brought the last bottle with the words "well, this is the last wine, which I can propose you" Served by the same waitress, when our food was brought, she sarcastically asked "are you finally okay now?", which was extremely impolite. The steak, which was supposed to be rare, was perfectly well done, steak knives also had to be asked for, because the waitress ignored our table. However, the young waiter and manager, who approached us at the end was very polite and kind.

We had a baby shower here and it was absolutely amazing. The team couldn’t do enough for us on the day. Food is amazing, get the pizza if you come - delicious! Would recommend to anyone whether it be for a meal or a party.

Lovely location sitting outside in their alfresco setting for a family gathering. The staff were great helping out with requests for our little grand daughter and serving us. We loved their freshly made pizzas - they were especially good. Their burgers were great too.

Didn't like roast potatoes found them bland and abit hard , but rest was really good .

I had a stone baked pizza. My partner had a blue cheese burger. Both were fantastic. Really good food. We sat in the outdoor area there were lots of cobwebs that should be cleaned. Apart from that, very enjoyable.

Exploring round our neighbourhood for somewhere different, we remembered being told that the pub that was the Three Horseshoes had reopened as The Manor some time ago. They are only open for lunch /bar menu on the weekends .Fortunately we visited on a Saturday. There is a large covered outside bar ,playground and 2 v large pods. Ample parking. We ate in the main restaurant area. Very helpful staff, a short but varied bar menu at reasonable prices and v good quality. Various pizza choices from a wood fired Pizza oven. There is a separate dinner menu for the evening and they do Sunday Roasts but will try that next time. Unfortunately although both menus are on the website no prices are listed but we considered them fair in light of current food, staff, and energy costs. Do hunt it our and support a local pub.

Although I’ve posted before, it doesn’t appear to have gone. So once again I must congratulate Mario on everything he did for my husbands wake. The venue was perfect, and the hospitality from Mario was second to none. He even came in to greet me on his day off. The food was excellent, served with panache, and although a sad occasion for me, I would highly recommend Mario and his staff who looked after us superbly. As family, we will look forward to going again.

I cannot praise Mario and his staff enough for their professionalism,welcome and general hospitality! Mario arranged the food for my Fathers Wake and as promised delivered everything we asked for,he was courteous,caring,with a lovely nature! I would thoroughly recommend this establishment!

Although disappointing that pizza’s weren’t available, we had a wonderful time. Cheese and beef burger was 10/10, one of the best i’ve had. Nunu was a lovely member of staff, very friendly, welcoming and talkative!

Good tapas options, portions vary a lot, 3 good size lamb kofta which seemed good value whereas the slider had a pathetic size burger in smaller than 1 kofta and seemed very overpriced. Pizza was good and staff friendly. Squid portion good, hummus not great.

I visited here two nights in on a row on my own. On both nights the staff were super friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and good value for money, and they had a great outdoor seating area. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Sunday lunch with family. Sunday roast was excellent, great portions, great choices and well cooked. Happy to accommodate smaller versions for children. Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely play area for children and great parking. Spent the rest of the sunny afternoon in their dog friendly pods and it couldn’t have been nicer.

The Manor is a really lovely pub out in the Oxfordshire countryside that has a warm and cozy atmosphere. We were received on arrival by Grace who welcomed us with a lovely smile and friendly greeting. She then escorted us to our table which was perfectly situated by the window where we had a clear view of the outdoor diners and the backdrop of the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Once our order was taken, we were taken care of by our wonderful Server Nonu! He served with style and consummate efficiency. Between us we had ordered the Halloumi fries and the whitebait starter which were really tasty, full of flavour, ample portions and cooked well. Unfortunately we were not as impressed with our main courses as they didn't appear to offer the same value for money. After our meal we ventured around the grounds and sat in the pod for a while listening to music and relaxing. We both discussed the possibility of coming back with additional family members for a evening out. Given the layout of the facilities in the large garden area, I can confidently assume this would be a beautifully lit and atmospheric space for evening drinks and gatherings.

One of the BEST roast dinners I've ever had out. The food was gorgeous and a great sized portions(cauliflower cheese was superb) staff are very friendly and very attentive. Great setting also. Definitely recommend a visit. Thank you 😊

Nice place only gripe is they have a kids menu, however there is a big difference between an 11 year old and a 2 year only. I asked if they would do a smaller cheaper portion for our 2 year old and was told no, so £9 for a meal for a 2 year old, bit disappointing. That said the food was very good and the service was excellent.

This place is great and the people who run it are truly wonderful! When my colleagues and I needed to head back to our hotel, all the local taxis were booked up, which would have meant we needed to walk an hour back to the hotel. But instead Mario, the pub owner, asked one of his colleagues, Valentine, to drive us back after their shift. We were very tired and tipsy so we really appreciate them going the extra mile for us like that. Also the food and drinks were top notch, and the atmosphere was cosy. Please visit and give this place some love, they really saved us!

First time eating here since the change of company. It was very quiet in there, the food was delicious and the team very friendly and attentive. Lots of outside seating so can imagine in the summer it will be very busy. Will definitely return again

Just returned and can honestly say that the food, service and value for money was outstanding. We had the most amazing lentil soup followed by Lamb Koftas which were so tasty and plentiful. We found this place by accident but would definitely recommend it to...

Visited Xmas eve, there were some things missing from the menu and it was a very limited choice. Kids were hoping for pizza but they were not serving that it until the evening? Food what we ordered was ok. We brought a jack fm voucher...
