A nice Sunday lunch at the Ringlestone Inn. Attentive staff, hardworking and polite. Fully booked on Sunday, so reservation would be recommended. I had a pint curious larger and partner had G&T. I had the mackerel to start, which was delicious. We both had roast beef for mains. Followed by two flat white coffees. A lovely, well cooked meal in a nice location. We will be returning.

We popped in for the day as we stayed nearby… I don’t usually leave reviews but the barman called Dalton I believe, is a credit to your business he was extremely polite and helpful and we will come again thanks to his service.

Not open - despite what the opening hours say.

Had a salad lunch,it was just a plate of green leaves with a bit of salmon ,very disappointed had to try and fill my self up with a coffee and dessert. The dessert was the best thing

Had a thoroughly enjoyable Sunday lunch today of Belly Pork with friends who enjoyed the Roast Chicken and Sea Bass followed by home made ice cream. Staff made us very welcome and friendly. Highly recommended.

This was a perfect place to stop during our walk, staff were very welcoming, had an excellent pint and probably the best cheesy chips I’ve ever had.

Had an absolutely amazing meal here on Saturday night. The staff were warm, charming and attentive. The food was incredible. Lots of attention to detail. A wonderful evening. We will definitely return.

Had a fantastic Sunday roast here, the best I have had. When we arrived we were welcomed like locals by the lovely staff. We had an unexpected extra 2 guests dinning with us but the staff managed to accommodate us all. The food was lovely and I still have no idea how this places doesn’t have any Michelin Stars. This is Kent’s best kept secret and having dined at the best restaurant in Kent this is by far my favourite. Cannot recommend highly enough. Plus their dogs are lovely and the restaurant is very dog friendly.

The wife and I went on Friday and had the 7 course meal. I didn't think that there was anywhere around that would or could be as good as this.The food was exceptional. The atmosphere was lovely. The presentation was brilliant. The staff were the best. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

My husband and I had a meal here last night to celebrate my birthday. The food was outstanding and the service second to none, staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We are now thinking of having a wedding anniversary celebration there for family and friends

Our first time eating at The Ringlestone Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone. The service was perfect, prompt but friendly and at no point were we rushed. The food was just delicious, honestly cannot fault anything. Great menu and specials. The building itself is very old and full of historic charm, really cosy. We'll definitely be returning!

Wonderful food beautifully presented. Service also first rate, could not fault it. The building itself oozes history, all features maintained. Nice to see wood burning stove in use. No hesitation in recommending.

A lovely drinking hole for a dog walk. Service was grand, and the drink was on point. Lovely large garden to sit out in the sun, with plenty of dog drinking bowls provided.

Wow! The best Sunday roast dinner we have had to date. We were lucky to have the private dining room for a table for 8 persons. The food was exceptional, staff were great. What a find. 10/10 by far!

The beat lunch I've had in Kent for s long time. Fantastic food, great atmosphere and delightful propieter. Beware of pot holes along country lane to reach this delightful gem.

A wonderful experience Not surprised this place features in Kent's top 100 best dining experiences. We booked for 6pm and were sincerely greeted and shown to our table. Opted for the 7 course tasting menu and were delighted with the experience. From the complimentary bread to the venison through to the cheese board; the plates were skilfully created with love and attention to detail. Whilst a dark chocolate dessert wouldn't sit as my first choice, it featured exciting flavours - especially the coffee ice cream. The staff were fantastic and 'wanted' to be there working. Young Patrick was professional, explaining what was served in a clear and formal voice - seldom found with younger staff. Sensible pauses between courses and appropriate checks to ensure all was to our satisfaction. Lovely touches like not lumping on an 'optional service charge' (unless on group sittings which is fair) and bringing over a jug of water for the meal. A great selection of drinks and open fires. Considering a visit? Go. You won't regret it. Dalton, Paolo and the staff have created a very special place x

What an amazing find! Came across the Ringlestone Inn on one of our countryside walks with our dog and decided to have lunch. So glad we did! The welcome was warm and friendly, the pub itself is full of character, history and has several log fires... and finally the food was outstanding! We will be returning very soon.

A real gem of a traditional English pub. Definitely on the gastropub end of the spectrum. They even cure their own charcuterie. Very nice and cosy, friendly and very good food. There seem to be lots of nice walks in the area too.

Had the pleasure of dining here with friends who had been raving about the food served here. All I can say is WOW they were not lying! Apart from the food being delicious, The espresso martini was made properly and not from a pre made bottle or machine which to me is very important😊 Dalton (Owner) & Paolo(head chef) were a delight, very friendly and engaging with all their customers. We will definitely be returning very soon . Big up Norman the log man!

Beautiful old characterful pub with an excellent menu. Went for the 5 course tasting dinner which was fabulous throughout, opted for that so we can go for the 7 course next time! Staff very friendly and hospitable. Would highly recommend this little gem!!

Fantastic experience for A to Z. The restaurant is located inside an old pub quite far off the beaten track. We received a warm welcome by the owner/staff, with good humour and lots of love for our dog :) The lunch menu already looked promising and it was to absolutely live up to the expectations. Starters and main were not only freshly prepared from fine local produce but also lovely decorated. The tastes are phenomenal and you really get a great value for your money. That said, I found the meals fairly priced, considering that regular pub food is not cheap either - and there really is no comparison between the two. If I lived in the area, this would be a regular place to have an excellent lunch or dinner. Best make a reservation...

What an incredible experience. Not what one would expect from a pub. The service is friendly and very efficient. The food is spectacular. We were a party of four, we ordered for starters, smoked mackerel, pigeon breast and the chilled soup. Main courses, duck breast, bream and risotto. The presentation of each dish was very impressive and the food was a taste explosion. Everything is prepared and made right in the kitchen including the butter and bread. I cannot wait to return to this gem of a pub, where the food is absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend the Ringlestone inn, it was a very pleasant surprise!!!

Visited here last night for a birthday dinner and could not have a enjoyed it more. From the warm, inviting welcome by the owner on arrival and unrivalled decor of this beautifully restored 16th century inn to the knowledgable drink recommendations and then the food itself …which was simply stunning. This isn’t pub grub…so don’t be disappointed when there’s no ham, egg and chips on the menu but if you want top class cuisine cooked by people passionate about what they are producing with the high end ingredients they have sourced then this is the place for you.

Excellent service, charming surroundings, small choice for vegetarians and nothing on the menu for vegans, but food was of highest quality. Not cheap.

Came here for our anniversary meal. The staff were amazing and very friendly. They were all attentive and seemed to genuinely want to know how the food was. Food all came out in a timely manner and tasted lovely. If you're looking for somewhere that little special to go would recommend here.

Went to the Ringlestone as a surprise for my Birthday. It was in the afternoon and it was very quiet. A fantastic setting, old beams and brick floors. A wonderful step back in time. The service was second to none and the food was absolutely fabulous. We could not fault anything. However, upon paying the bill in cash we gave a very good tip of nearly £30. Such a shame we didn’t see any staff after this. They didn’t acknowledge if we had overpaid or anything. Apart from that I would recommend highly.

Just been for my birthday and our first time since the new owners took over. Dalton and Paolo, abily assisted by family members including mum Wendy, they really deserve this to work for them. Paolo really does create wonderfully executed food. Visually gorgeous but hitting the spot perfectly regarding flavour and perfectly cooked fish/game/meat, even my vegetarian main was stunning. Dalton has a wicked sense of humour and reads his clients well, nothing is too much trouble. We have booked for Sunday lunch and have no doubt we will be visiting again very soon. The bill was surprising and we feel exceptional good value for the quality of food and service. We genuinely cannot wait to return. Thank you for making it a birthday to remember.

A truly olde world pub with excellent food. We loved our stopover here and it was worth the detour. Although they had no cell reception, the proprietor kindly let us use the establishment’s telephone for calls we needed to make. Thank you for a delicious meal and a delightful experience.

Wonderful evening, kind friendly people, loved every course of our tasting menu, the boozy quince jelly with wood pigeon, the black cherry sorbet and chocolate and when he tells you to dip your bread in the melting candle, do it, you won't be disappointed 😊

Excellent food and friendly service. I had one of the specials - chicken and mushroom pie with chips. The chicken was tender and the mushrooms tasted fresh in a mushroom creamy sauce. The strawberry themed dessert was tasty and different set off by basil ice cream, a new taste to me which was delightful.

What a fantastic gastropub this is, absolutely first class quality food, certainly as good and as well presented as any Michelin starred restaurant I have been to in London. A real hidden jem, lovely old building, friendly staff and first rate menu and food. We can't wait to go back and try the tasting menu.

Some way removed from the out of the way pub I drank in 50 years ago, with beer served from a barrel on the shelf behind the bar ( under two shillings a pint, before decimalisation). Now quite the gastro pub but you can also get a decent pint and a fancy sandwich with home cured meats and pickles. Still got the enclosed dark interior but there is a large garden area at the back.

Just walked round on the chance of there being a table in the beautiful garden, and there was so we sat and had a few drinks and enjoyed a bite to eat of top of rump to share, we had salad and chips with it. Our neighbours also came and sat with us. It was a very enjoyable afternoon in the sunshine

Wonderful pub in the North Downs of Kent. We arrived a bit late for a meal as they were close to shutting down. However they were very kind to offer us tea, water, a couple of drinks, and some snacks. I will surely return for a meal soon.

Great grub and staff worth a visit

We visited this place today 20/09/20. Very pleasant staff but having the main meal each of around £16 per portion- we left being hungry. Very small portions, almost nothing on the plate. I had the roast pork sedle. It was a few paper-fin slices. Couldn’t understand the taste. Don’t recommend going there. It’s a shame - the place is nice.
