Showed up on a Wednesday Lunch time, Hoping we could get a table, Lucky enough we showed up at the right time, Started getting really busy, Service was brilliant, couldn't do enough for us, Food well we love our food, But we've not come across many restaurants as delicious as this one, From the Fresh Salad to the beautiful Pizzas, Next time in Maidstone we be back.

We have been there a few lunch times. Always had good food.Went today & had the pasta & a glass of wine off of the lunch time menu. Was very good highly recommend it.Lee was our server very good at his job looked after us very well.We will be returning very soon.

We have been going to fifi for many years.al we went along last night Fri 3rd only to find a limited menu which we were not made aware of when we booked. After seeing the Limited choice we decided to settle the bill for 2 drinks and try to book somewhere else. Sadly it was to late to go on to anywhere else and had to stay. Food wasn't its usual standard and service was bad. Not caused by the lovely staff that have to work there at all. We waited for ages as they were busy serving food upstairs and we were obviously on hold. Disaster Spoilt evening. We cannot believe that on Monday 6th it changes menu to pizza and pasta joint.....not for us. Management obviously doesn't seem bothered that their regular customers like the menu as it is. It has been one of our favorite restraunts fir many years taking along family and reccomending to friends. End of another good era. Pasta and pizza, I can get I'm any restraunt!! Thankyou to the lovely staff and the amazing manager that are the backbone of this restraunt, If it changes back, im sure it will, we look forward I seeing you all again.

Pretty terrible, poor quality food and extra add ons that aren't made clear on the menu. Food took 1.5hrs to come steak was cooked wrong everyone had finished before another came.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. For someone who travelled home from Bournemouth to see friends with an ALERGY! To have been able to find a restaurant that “catered” for that was extremely exciting until we ate there. The waiter seemed to have no clue what GF was and continuously offered me Vegan options and offers and for the menu to state G instead of GF and a waitress informed me that G is GF only for the one time a manager served me I had been informed inccorevetly! When I had called prior they seemed extremely clued up but when I saw my Coeliac meal come out with the only burger and non-GF dish at the table I should’ve realised :/ for us to spend over £100 and all four friends have all left with severely upset stomachs and my chronic pain to have returned!! Not to mention the menu not stating that the brownies are to be served cold! Both Freinds received a mildly warm in the middle and freezing exterior brownie and no mention of fruit garnish on the crème brûlée so to receive a huge pile of strawberries to which I had mentioned I was allergic at the start of the meal as they had asked about drink garnish! Honestly beyond disappointed and think that the price we have all paid to have to wake up and take pain medicine due to my “GF” meal and every single member of my party to either be extremely upset in the tummy or sick is not acceptable. the only perk of the evening was by far the decor.

I am deeply disappointed with the Sunday lunch experience at Fifi's Brasserie in Maidstone. Despite the promising menu description of a traditional Sunday roast with fresh vegetables, freshly made Yorkshire pudding, and succulent pink sirloin roast beef, the reality was far from satisfactory. Upon receiving our food, it was evident that the Yorkshire puddings were Really not freshly made, likely store-bought aunt betsie , and the parsnips and broccoli were inexplicably covered in curry powder. This deviation from the classic British Sunday roast was unacceptable. When expressing our disappointment to the waiter, all we received was a half-hearted apology and an offer to remove a single drink as in lime and soda water from the bill as compensation what a gesture. The lack of accountability and effort to rectify the situation was disgraceful. The customer service was lacking, the meal presentation was subpar, and the flavors were off-putting. It was clear that the produce used was not fresh.This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I will not be returning to Fifi's Brasserie for Sunday lunch or any other occasion. I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment from my own personal experience. For those seeking an exceptional Sunday lunch experience, I would suggest visiting The Horseshoes in Farleigh, where the food and service are truly outstanding, earning them a solid five out of five stars. The only reason we chose Fifi's Brasserie that day was due to its proximity to our day appointment destination, but it was a decision I regret.

Nice place, and the food was good - but we did wait a fair amount of time for the food, and there weren't many people in the restaurant at the time.

I arrived and had booked a table the day before via the website but the waiter had no clue about our reservation and it wasn't on their system. There was only one waiter - we felt sorry for him due to the amount of people but his service was poor - didn't ask if we wanted more drinks etc. Our food took over an hour to arrive. We ordered the dirty burgers, they weren't super hot when they arrived and they were very dry despite having so many extras on. Really disappointed by the whole experience as the reviews are so good! The music playing is fun (from musicals) and the decor is super quirky. It was quite cold inside though and smelt a bit damp.

Went on a Sunday for the roast, great atmosphere and the service was spot on - food quality very good and lots of it! Will definitley be back again soon, very reasonably priced too 😀

Close, but no cigar unfortunately. Had the fillet steak tonight, lovely piece of meat and cooked rare as I ordered. Presentation was very nice but the chips were not what I would define as triple cooked, they may have been through the frier 3 times but these were just a slightly crispier version of a bad chip. Chimichurri sauce was ordered and I got a small boat of oil with some chopped chilli and parsley at the bottom - to my mind this should have some body with lots of parsley, garlic, chilli and salt. The decor is very nice and the atmosphere quite good but it's just not achieving the experience it's trying to pitch.

This has been the second year I have visited mumus for my birthday celebrations. It is always such a fabulous night, with amazing food, great vibes, and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend!

Went to Fifi's for Sunday Roast today. Unfortunately my husband's lamb was a little "chewy". I had the beef and the first slice was gorgeous and pink but the two underneath slices were overcooked which I found very disappointing. Then to top it all we were overcharged by about £4. On challenging the bill, the waiter said "sorry, we have two menus and we were given the wrong one" and gave us an amended bill. However, the Menu we were given had the same prices as on the internet.

I would give 6 * if possible!! Amazing lunch - Vegan Burger was the best I've eaten & the Creme Brule Dessert with Amaretti Biscuits melted in the mouth, fantastic friendly & exceptionally helpful staff (both in Fifi’s Brasserie & next door in Nellie Gerkins Irish Pub) & the eclectic interior decor is beyond doubt my fave in Maidstone!! Adds to a really incredible dining experience & great fun! Highly recommended 👌 . I've booked lunch for my Birthday already!! 😁

The finest burger in Maidstone, without a doubt. The ingredients are impeccably balanced, and the thick patty is cooked to perfection. We love the quirky style as well. The staff is very friendly and always present without being intrusive. Just a note,despite being allowed in with our dog, it's important to note that they are not truly dog-friendly. It's advisable to call or email in advance. Different story is the communication. Despite multiple attempts to call before our dinner, the voicemail intercepted each time. Furthermore, we mentioned our intention to bring a dog in our booking, but regrettably, no response was received. An improvement in communication would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Lovely meal here today. Could not fault it.

Had a lovely lunch today. Excellent food, great atmosphere and lovely service from Evie. We enjoyed it very much.

The food is of poor quality and although not overly expensive is over priced for the quality. The seafood platter priced at £60 was very poor, likely all frozen as it was tough, dry and smelly. The portion is generous but this is made up of largely unopened muscles and therfore inedable. The £10 caesar salad is something that could be made by anyone who possesses lettuce and a generic salad cream dressing. The service was friendly but the time for food to arrive was too long. We were not given appropriate ways to dispose of the shell fish, the few bits of crab as above were likely old and frozen without giving us any way of cracking the shell initially. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant is it's redeeming factor and nice maybe for a cup of tea but would not recommend it for a sit down meal.

My friends and I go here for our brunches ALL the time, we have for years. We chose to do the drag brunch (we have done this many times) We can't fault the staff. The atmosphere was incredible as always. When booking we could see the food menu had changed. Not one of us in our party of seven enjoyed the food. It seemed like budget cash and carry food that was heated up. Some of our food was cold and took over an hour to come out. Such a shame as the food used to be really nice on the previous menu. Apart from the food, we had a brilliant time.

We had 2 Sunday roasts (one vegetarian/traditional nut roast and one 1/2 chicken). Perfect service from the manager's welcome and allowing us with the dog on their covered terrace, the staff were attentive and always checking on us, the food arrived with all the sides and sauces perfectly presented, just like in photos, we were really impressed. Thank you and we will be back as well on a Friday or Saturday as you offer a different set up, including music, dancing and even cabaret! What a magnificent place (you should see their numerous interiors!), 108-110 Week St, Maidstone ME14 1RH Thanks from our Spangle as well! Just one more note, Fifi is one of their names as MuMu is as well part of the same location, but I think they extended the MuMu restaurant with a beautiful elegant covered terrace which they named it FiFi? A second note, they host many parties, as we arrived just after 12 when they opened, we sat and parties started, 30 years B-day, 35 years B-day, hen party, all happening just as we were enjoying our lunch/breakfast as we had no breakfast but a generous early lunch.

Service could of been a bit quicker but the food was worth it, the server was on his own for a lunch service but he was very attentive

Stopped for lunch as we drove through town. The place is really nice with interesting and unique decorations (cabaret style). Their lunch menus were tasty and the kids menu typical pub style. Service was rather slow even though there was not a lot of people.

Quirky decor, friendly informative staff. Unbelievably great food. Top class cuisine, presentation spot on, taste perfect. Definitely rates in top 5 restaurants we have eaten in. Will definitely return and also visit MuMu as well. Absolutely loved the place. Fantastic ambience!

Unique way to have a roast dinner. We ordered the sharing board for two, which comes with a whole spatchcocked roast chicken, with all the trimmings and you definitely get your money's worth. (Though could have been more gravy for me)..for dessert I had the deconstructed carrot cake, which probably didn't need to be deconstructed but it looked pretty enough. Needless to say, our experience has prompted my in-laws to book in for their Christmas dinner!

Did I catch the chef on an off night? I picked FiFi's for dinner due to the many 5* reviews. We ordered the Pork Belly and the Pork Tomahawk.. the Pork Belly was the classic situation in many restaurants of previously slow cooked, re-heated to be served, which left the edges very tough and chewy. The Pork Tomahawk was a pork chop, not a tomahawk, not even an attempt at one, again previously cooked and then re-cooked to be served by the texture of it, hardly any moisture left in the meat at all, the 'crackling' on both pork dishes was separately cooked as in common with slow cooked or previously cooked pork dishes, however it was solid enough to take your teeth out, no chance of enjoying that. The 'truffle mash' may have existed in the same building as a truffle at one point in its life, but that's about as close as it has ever been to truffle, not a hint of it at all. Even the chef's that use the lazy option of just adding black truffle oil, you can at least smell a hint of it, absolutely nothing in this. Disappointing meal to the point where we didn't bother with deserts as didn't fancy a 2nd round of disappointment, a shame as we were looking forward to it all week. On a positive note the cocktails were lovely.

We turned up early, and they were happy to accommodate. Cocktails were wonderful, starters delicious, main course was amazing and the dessert finished me off. Great evening. My only regret is that i didn't have any cash to leave a tip as the service deserved it.

Amazing Sunday lunch at an incredibly reasonable price. Roast beef was cooked perfectly, they even accommodated one of our guests who wanted it more well done and nailed that too. They brought out a complimentary dessert as it was a birthday booking which was lovely. Was also pleased that they reimburse you for parking if you park in one of the car parks recommended on their website.

Excellent Fillet Steak, Burgers, skin on fries, onions rings and garlic mushrooms all delicious and cooked to perfection every time. Also excellent service from the 2 usual ladies serving us on a regular basis. Just brilliant Steak and Burgers! The Best in Town.

Came here for a Sunday Roast and the portion was massive! The fact that the sides came on a separate board shows how mad it was. I would recommend reducing the size and focusing on the taste more because it was nice but there wasn't an element on the roast that was incredible. It was all nice. The service was incredible! Every single member of staff that went past smiled, even the chef, which is saying something. They were attentive and accommodating. Had an Aperol Spritz and it was really good too. Highly recommend.

Was very disappointed with food and service . Cocktails looked amazing . Five of us dining we had all finished by the time our friend got her meal asked 8 times for side dishes . Waiters pleasant but obviously stretched . Food quality not great .

We had a lovely meal here recently. The place has a lovely ambience. The waitress Jelena was really welcoming and very friendly. Service was good. We chose 2 courses from the set menu which was not only good value but excellent quality and extremely tasty. All in all a really nice evening. Would definitely recommend and revisit when I’m in the area again.

Always amazing at Fifi! Lunchtime menu is superb, very varied and has some amazing deals including half roasted chicken with slaw and triple fried chips to die for with a freebdrink including wine for under 8 quid! The bill included 2 starters 2 mains 2 glasses of wine 2 teas and water all for under 40 quid! Mu Mu upstairs is also a fabulous evening venue with great entertainment at weekends! Try it you really won't be disappointed! Our waitress today was a lovely young lady who was very complimentary to us! Defo recommended 👌

I've been here several times it's always been fine went for Sunday roast yesterday had to send the chicken back as their was red juice running from it wasn't cooked properly the staff were completely blarza quite ignorant to be fair no apologies nothing been awake on and off all night cause cant keep off the toilet

We went there as group of 11 people and they were able to accomodate us without a booking. The manager Ishty was looking after us and provided a great service, nothing was too much trouble for him even eventhough they were extremely busy as it was Easter Sunday.

We tried the roasted chicken, pork belly and pasta for mains. Portion was big, chicken and pork belly were good and chips were great. Pasta needed a bit more seasoning but ingredients were fresh. What made it a 3-star was the service. I went there at 12:00 on a weekday for a table for 3. There was only a group of 8 customers and the other tables were all empty. However, the waitress said no tables were available and asked me to return after half an hour. I was thinking the other tables were all reserved but the fact was not (how possible if I can get a table after half an hour if all are booked?) I left the restaurant and waited for my friends for the next step. When they arrived 10min later, we approached another waiter and he offered us a table right the way. Why the waitress didn’t offer us a table to settle down at the beginning? We can understand if she would told me that there might be a short delay of service because of that 8-ppl group. Our whole experience lasted from 12:15 to 2:15. Food came a bit slow and the restaurant was only 40% full. Business is difficult now and how the frontline service providers act does a big matter if you charge that price.

Very disappointed with my one and visit to this place. Unique defiantly however was so noisy could t have a conversation with others at the same table. Cramped as packed so many people in the night I visited with family. Decor not my taste and food disappointing.

The food we had was beautiful, and if rating solely on that, it would be a 5*. Unfortunately, the service let it down for us. Initially no concerns; but table next to us appeared to have a senior member of staff and their family eating- the rest of the staff then notably disengaging from other tables. We were given dessert menus, an hour later no one had come to take our order. We then had to get up and ask for our bill. After receiving this, no one came back to take our payment. After another 20 minutes, my partner approached the staffing area where 2 staff members turned their back on him until he asked to pay. Again, the roast dinner was immaculate and I couldn’t recommend it more, but the service would put me off returning,

This place is amazing! Stopped in for a cheeky lunch with a work colleague. £7.95 lunch special is so good! The Rotisserie Chicken was so tasty alongside the best chips ever! This also included a glass of wine! Well impressed. Beautiful place, fantastic food and wonderful service! Highly recommend 👌

Honestly this is probably the best restaurant in Maidstone it’s feel like it should be in London as its delicious, luxurious and has incredible service. You just be impressed you will be surprised overwhelmed.

Had a very pleasant lunch here on a Saturday. A glass of Prosecco was included for each diner. The menu was limited, but what we had was very tasty and well presented. Washed down with a decent bottle of Italian Merlot. Service was good but slow. Very uniquely decorated surroundings which makes for a fun dining experience.

Went for our works Xmas lunch very good and all had a great time. Staff working hard but they had taken too many bookings so took a while before food was served over an hour before starters came out. Maybe a tactic to push drinks sales?

My partner and I had the Sunday roast. I chose the belly pork which was ok but a very small portion. Lots of veggies supplied. Very pleasant restaurant with good service.

I am not sure why this is 4.7??? At first it seemed ok, starter was ok then we went onto the mains, the pork belly was very bland and full of fat, the steak was the same very fatty and bland, no flavour! Service was average, didn't even asked if we wanted water! Definitely not worth it. Best part was the music!

Had a family meal here yesterday for my mums 60th it was so lovely, Roasts were delicious I go out most Sundays and I’m rating these one of the best I’ve had if not best in area! Staff were so attentive. Decor is beautiful. Lovely day had by all ❤️

Called in for dinner. Excellent value, friendly service and quality food.

The restaurant itself is very quirky, I like the decor and the menu. It's expensive and the food is generally good but having spent £65 on a chateaubriand I came away feeling a little underwhelmed. The starters was great and I was very excited for our main but the flavour and texture of the meat was not as good as I'd hoped for. Other people's mains looked and smelled great and I'd be curious to come back and try some of the other options but I wouldn't order the chateaubriand again. Was so close to being a 5 star.
