Such a Brighton gem! We had a fabulous wine tasting experience with Sharni (I am so sorry if I have butchered the spelling!) she was so knowledgable and ensured we had the best time. We tried unusual and delicious wine and we can’t wait to come back. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in town.
Lovely atmosphere, great place to pop into with the girlies for a drink after work. Food was lovely, we had the sharing platters, good mix of picky bits and plenty for 2. Good drinks menu, something for every taste.

Started out well, we were a large party and were given our own alcove which after moving a couple of tables was perfect. Bar was friendly and helpful so we all settled down for our meal. The service was quick and again helpful but the food was awful. A number of dishes got sent back and those of us who ate what we'd been served found it either extremely greasy or over sloppy. I'm sure we were just unlucky as we have eaten in green king restaurants before and enjoyed the food, It was not the case yesterday. Sorry
Food is always brilliant. The chef is superbly knowledgeable and passionate about all ingredients. If you are looking for 5-star food in Godalming, then Acorn is your choice.

One of my favourite restaurants in Chichester.
The food was outstanding—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. The ambiance was perfect for any occasion. A must-visit for anyone who loves great food and top-notch hospitality!
Very oily, soggy chips and the “grilled” huss was also very oily. The box it came in was saturated with oil. It all went in the bin. We won’t be ordering again.

We were 5 people. Ordered set menu Appetizers came at different times so 3 people had theirs while other two had to wait half an hour for theirs. Whole service took almost 3 hours the waiting time between meals was really long. This wouldn’t be much of an issue if the food was worth it. Unfortunately everything was quite bland, portions were small and just overall both worth it. Small piece of fish (very fresh but completely unseasoned) with burned parsnip and lemony sauce which was quite nice but not very interesting flavors. After we finally got a dessert we asked for the bill so we can leave when we finish eating as we had another reservation, the waiter said “we need the table back anyway” we waited for the food very long time to be told this. Unfortunately quite a disappointing experience.
A lovely pub from the outside. Nice garden.
Today is Mother's day so pressure on.
Our meal time was booked at 2.30pm but they had over booked and we had to wait until 3pm but wasn't ready then either.
Set menu for Mother's day. We had a 3 course. We were in a party of 8 no children's menu today. 2 starters ordered. Came out but waited another hour for mains to come out. Server hadn't sent other mains through to kitchen.
The food was nice but servers were very clueless. No water offered or asked if we need condiments or any allergys. My crumble came out in a bowl heaped high but no room to pour custard. All very apologetic but that's it. Kept saying sorry we have had 210 bookings today. Then the bill came it was wrong some of our party had only ordered a main but was charged for 2 set meals. No attempt of free puddings for cock ups. Least the staff were pretty. I'd come again on a normal day because the venue was nicely decorated and they have a play area.
