Great pub for an impromptu lunch. Food on seniors menu just right. Nice courtyard to eat al fresco, shame it overlooks the car park for the shopping precinct, but hey, you can't have everything. All in all, a nice experience.

Pleasant place where you can watch sport, with a large outdoor area. Very nice, the kitchen closes at 9pm

Awful food and poor service unfortunately, will not be returning. It's probably OK as a local pub for a drink.

Went to watch the semi final England game , staff were fantastic, particularly Greg who was going above and beyond for everyone always with a smile on his face. An absolute asset to the team. Food was great atmosphere fantastic. Great family pub

Had a great family lunch here. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff!

Waited almost an hour for our food but there was 9 of us so we expected a wait, when picking at the salad we found a tomato with white fluffy mould on it. Brought it to staff and apologised profusely and gave us a free dessert to make up for it.

Best pub for miles! Nadine, Rachel, Little Zoe and Oscar really make the pub feel like a home, they always go out of their way to take extra good care of the customers and it really is noticeable, keep going team! Always smiling, and never a bad work to say.

Lovely staff, Oscar,Nadine and the girls are always very pleasant. Ellie does a brilliant job in the kitchen, reasonably priced drinks and perfect for the football. Noticeably good atmosphere here last couple of weeks, seems to be getting back to the good old community pub!

Wow, ordered 2 x Chick’n’Mix for my partner and I. Fantastic. Strips and Southern fried skewer, fries and Mac. The mac was in a wide bowl, cooked just til browned and was wonderful. Plenty of chicken with a nice portion of fries. All on a night when Green King run a £6 promotion. How can you beat that?

Inedible garbage. Waited over 30 minutes for turkey roast that the turkey was like jelly to chew and had a pungent taste to it. The MASH was like sand as it had been microwaved beyond the point of eating. The sausages full of gristle and bone. Couldn't eat the roast at all right down to the undercooked tasteless vegetables and stale yorkshire and potatoes. No staff checkbacks. Would never return. School dinner roasts in the 90s are more tasty and appealing than this

Loved this pub. Cosy, great atmosphere. By the looks of it, I think I was served by the manager. He appeared to be in charge of everything. I had the fish and chips, and my friend had gammon. It took a bit for the food to arrive to our tables, but we were entertained with the cheap drinks. The food was really good. We will definately come back.

Horrid service got treated like dirt. Also the burger was cold and chips freezing cold. Never happened under Eddie and carol. This lord luncan wannabe manger is no good and running this once great pub into the ground!

Homey Flavors and Laughter at Grandma's Pub Today, we dropped by this place, and let me tell you, the food was on par with what my grandma makes, and that's saying a lot. Even though the manager was feeling a bit under the weather, he managed to run the show with a sense of humor that even got a few laughs out of us. The service and dedication of the team were also top-notch. The vibe was totally chill, as if we were at grandma's house. Definitely, this place has that special something that keeps you coming back for more, and they even throw in a joke in the middle of it all!

College Oak, right there on the corner of Peachcroft road, is like that friendly neighbor always up for a chat. The folks behind the bar are like your lifelong buddies, always sporting a smile and ready to shoot the breeze. And the drinks, well, they're just what you need to unwind and have a good time. In that pub, life is simple – good food, good drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere that almost feels like being in your own living room. It's the kind of place you keep coming back to because, quite simply, it just makes you feel good.

What is going wrong at the Collage Oak. My husband and I popped in for a quick lunch today. It took an hour and 15 minutes for the food to be brought to the table. I had ordered a Gluten Free sandwich off the GF menu which should have come with salad leaves and a dipping sauce. What I got was a sandwich with chips and onion rings. I asked the person that delivered it if the chips were GF and after he checked he told me yes they were. When I asked if the onion rings were GF I was told no they weren't so I sent it back. I am pretty sure the chips were gluten coved too. Some minutes later the manager came out and asked me what sort of sandwich I wanted. I explained that I had ordered from GF menu and would like what I ordered but he didn't seem to understand and spoke to me as it I was just being a difficult customer. The excuse was that he was teaching a new chef. I eventually said to cancel my order and requested my money back. The manager said he could do that for me then walked off. He didn't organise my refund nor check that it had happened. I felt sorry for the bar man who was dealing with the complaints.

Great welcome & service, cozy pub with good range of drinks

Nice pub, the pub is in a good location in the pitchcroft neighbourhood. About my visit today, it wasn't great, maybe because they were busy because of the dates (Christmas eve ) However, the service was quite disappointing. We had booked a table, in our arrival no one came to us, but they went to other customers to take them to the table, so we decided to take a seat with been told. The service was quite fast, not really approachable or smiling. The food wasn't great to, once again... maybe was because they were busy. Also, the waitress was nice she approached us asking if we wanted the song to be changed as we were with the baby, and the song was naughty. Overall experience... I'm not sure if I'll come back there. However, please feel free to pop in and see it yourself, as maybe my experience will not be your experience. Thanks, and I hope you can enjoy it because all the pubs deserve customers.

Great value for money food. Wish we could have a local pub like this nearby. The portions was just the right size and very well prepared. They ran out of fish but we were there quite late and fortunately there were other good options

Clean friendly pub, visited with son and his family. Ideal for younger generation or sports mad people who like televisions in pub's but personally it's not my thing. Good pub for food at very good prices. Plenty of seating inside and tables and chairs for outside eating. Staff were very helpful and friendly, good pint of Guinness which is how I also judge any establishment.

Always come here at the weekend for the most amazing steak,ambience and lovely wine. Attentive staff,amazing service and 100% recommended
