Excellent customer service and the Sunday roast was amazing.

Excellent gin selection and good friendly staff. Under £10 for double gin and tonic.

We were early for our checking in at a caravan. Stopped of for a drink, Sunday afternoon. Nice pub we sat outside had music on, nice atmosphere, food looked really tasty and smelled so good. We stuck with just a drink this time.

If you are looking for a traditional English pub with great home cooked food you can't go wrong with the Warren Inn.We went twice whilst on holiday in the area and both meals couldn't be faulted.Highly recommended.We will definitely return if back in the area.

Very friendly team with great recommendations. Superb Steak & Cheddar Pie! Fresh veg and mash and plenty of gravy. Peaceful in the garden. Looked a little cosy inside. Well worth a visit. Plus, a good pub will always supply you with a sachet of Stokes mayonnaise, and that’s exactly what they did. (Although we didn’t think it was required for the delicious lasagne or pie, and so it’s going back with us for beer battered onion rings in the caravan).

Lovely pub. Great gluten-free meals even had gluten free gravy. Staff welcoming. Good price for the size and quality of the meals.

Me and my partner just had a lovely meal at the Warren Inn. We both said it was one of the best meals in a pub for a long time. The pies were so filling with fresh mash, Broccoli, green bean and spring cabbage. Not process rubbish. If you love Guinness they do a hood pint there. Would definitely recommend. Staff very friendly.

Went to this pub today after reading there reviews, 3 of us for starter mains and desserts, arrived about 6 pm full of ignorant locals, no one behind the bar waited about 15 mins, no service attal then left 😑

Lovely old fashioned pub. Food was Exceptional. Steak was very tender and cooked perfectly as requested, veg fresh and chips gorgeous. Compliments to chef and butcher. Take a big appetite as portions are huge. Staff friendly and helpful.

Had a Sunday roast take out today and it was big. Brocolli, 3 potatoes, carrots, cauli, a large yorkshire and thick slices of meat. Delish.

My wife and I visited one afternoon as was staying locally. Drinks were excellent and service was excellent. Pub was quiet at this time of the day so plenty of time to chat to staff and locals. High on the list for a visit next time we are in the area, will try the food next time.

Found this pub through Google maps, whilst staying in the area. Friendly welcome on arrival. Food was really good, properly homemade food! Husband had Steak and stilton pie, and I chose stuffed Pork Belly, both meals with potatoes and seasonal veg and excellent gravy. Very reasonable prices. Also good honeycomb cheesecake and I had coffee. Highly recommend. Proper pub, proper food (real pastry pie with top and bottom homemade pastry, not just casserole with pastry lid) proper nice change!

The Warren Inn is a good traditional pub, it is really an adult place. Children are welcome though, and in the summer they can play outside. We meet friends, we meet on holiday about 10 years ago, for Sunday lunch, we do this every year in early spring. The four of us had roast Beef, veg, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pud. It was very good, 5 stars. Pudding is also very and traditional puds.. Worth a visit.

Wow what a lovely meal we had yesterday the cook certainly knows her stuff it was the best food my partner and I have had in a very long time if your looking for somewhere to eat the warren inn is the place to go we will most definitely be eating there again that's for sure thank you great job

Lovely home cooked meals. The seafood medley was very good. As was the chicken brie and cranberry pie with mash. Seasonal veg with gravy. Unfortunately the kitchen had closed so we were not able to sample the dessert menu.

My pie came out late and undercooked. The dough was horrible. When I approached them regarding this they offered to reheat the same portion. When I declined this they took the rest, I offered to pay for the chips, which I had eaten. When paying the lady demanded that I pay for half claiming it was the only time someone had ever sent. Disgusted. Will not be coming back

We live in Stoke-On-Trent and were down visiting family who live in the area. We were staying in the caravan park opposite and on looking on Google for places to eat nearby, The Warren came up. Reviews were excellent so we decided to go and had a brilliant evening. Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent so much so that we returned a few nights later with family who live local for a meal. Will definitely visit again when returning to the area in the future.

Found this place by chance... Its an amazing, a real traditional pub. Everything from the warm welcome, home cookedfood, service, beer drinks... If you all of this ,it's the place to come too...you will not be disappointed..

We had a lovely meal here, would go back again for food.

The pub has really good helpful staff. They cater for every type of person even with alagies. You will never walk out of there hungrier and it is very good value for money.

We enjoyed having a couple of drinks here, the lady at the bar was really friendly.

OMG. Just had the steak and Stilton pie with chips and gravey, fantastic, hot, tasty, excellent service. Need somewhere to eat, then it's the Warren Inn.

Booked table weeks before as we'd heard it did a lovely roast and wanted to come whilst we were on holiday. What can I say other than everything from the time we arrived was perfect. Very kind bar staff, I had roast pork and it was out of this world, my daughter had beef, so succulent and very good kids meals. My granddaughter is 4 years old and very picky they catered wonderfully for her for which we were truly grateful. Thank you for making our visit so memorable x

I was staying at the Marlie Holiday park which is just down the road from this pub. We visited The Warren Inn a couple of times during our three day break and both times we sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine. The garden has things the kids can play on and is set next to a lovely big field, so it's quite a scenic place to have a drink. The staff were friendly enough and drinks were fairly priced. We never ate here but the pub was very busy with people eating on the sunday. We will be back in the area in a few weeks and will definitely return to the Warren, this time we will most likely try the food (which looked good) too. See you soon UPDATED REVIEW: Since my original review of the Warren Inn, we have visited a few more times so I just wanted to give a quick updated review. When we are in the area we're staying in the Marlie holiday park which is five minutes walk down the road. On our first holiday when we visited The Warren we never ate there, so I couldn't comment on the food. On our two most recent holidays to the area we ate at The Warren both times and I just wanted to say that both times the food was excellent. We visited both times for a sunday roast and I can honestly say they were the best roast dinners I've ever eaten. The half lamb shoulder was huge and cooked brilliantly. The food at The Warren is excellent and great value. We will definitely eat here again when we're back in the area in early September

Popped in last Saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed excellent home made food. I had Steak and ale pie with plenty of fresh veg and my partner had the steak and kidney pudding, also fabulous. Great atmosphere and service. Highly recommended.

There exactly on opening time Entered at same time as staff. Lovely warm welcome, good selection of Ales. The ploughman's was exceptional. We had the stilton ( plentiful). All reasonably priced. Well done the Warren.

Cheap... But not cheerful! £35 for 2 adults and 1 child. Meal each and 1 drink each. It is cheap, but food is very basic. Bar staff not welcoming. Bit of a "locals" pub!

Not the best selection of beers, didn’t feel very welcome here unfortunately. Maybe was just an off day? Not sure. Garden area was nice just not the best drink selection for us.

There were three in our group this evening. Two had steak and kidney pudding and I had the beef stew and dumpling all served with fresh winter veg and mash and very hot. The portions were plentiful and tasty. We couldn't even think about a pud. Friendly staff and had a lovely evening. Our friend who was visiting us wants to visit this great pub again.

Simply amazing food. Plentiful and well cooked. Incredible value. Add a roaring fire and warm atmosphere and it can't be beat !

Food was lovely when we eventually got it but the service not so good we were not offered menus we had to ask for them, the staff seemed a bit tired & uninterested in us, one lady stood drinking from a mug by the fire most of the time maybe she was cold as it wasn't very warm in there round the back.

"Roast shoulder of lamb", I can highly recommend this Sunday lunchtime meal. You do get the whole shoulder, so be prepared. Great pub as well. I shall return in the near future.

I only found the Warren Inn because a relative lives close and we dropped in for a meal. We then found out what I am sure locals know already that this place does amazing food. Just looking at the menu and specials board gave me a clue that I was in for a treat and believe me they didn't disappoint. Well cooked, good size portions and friendly staff made this a brilliant meal. When I am in the area I now get my relatives to pre-book a table because it makes the trip. Yes food takes a while to appear that is because they are cooking it. Pre-book a table if there is more than two of you and at busy times. There is a garden, and outside seating too. There is also a car park of reasonable size so no worries about where to leave the car although in the summer I walk from my relatives so I can burn off a few calories on the way back

Great pub good beer and good food

Love this pub in the traditional style. Food great and staff very attentive. I have had a few meals from the menu and some Sunday lunches which are delicious. It is advisable to book for a Sunday lunch.

Lovely little pub! The staff were very nice and also accommodating for the variations to meals that was wanted. The food was so nice and the portions were very good. To top it off for three adult and two child's meals plus 4 puddings it came to under £65 which I think is great value for money. We will go back again in the week we are here on holiday but would advise all locals and holiday makers to go here.

Bit of a wait for food as pub was busy, but well worth the wait. Large portions and absolutely delicious. Great pudding menu too. Only downside was the awful noise from the live 'music' from The Plough just down the road.

Nice friendly pub fitted us in a table food was excellent tasted real home made i had steak and kidney suet pudding mash potatoes cauliflower carrots broccoli and gravy it was a large plate but i nearly managed all would definitely recommend we shall go back but book in the holiday season as it is very popular

Great food, great value and lovely staff

Called in on the off chance they could accommodate us, it was a very busy Sunday and all table were booked but we offered a table in the garden which was nice. We had the roast and a steak and kidney pudding, both or which were excellent. Actually it was the nicest roast we had had out for quite sometime. The pub is a little faded, however the service, food and prices are great!

Took over an hour for the food to come, we’ve been starving for ages! After it Came it was lovely, brilliant for kids aswell
