The best restaurants in South East

Great range of local beers, didn't try the food but the short menu looks great (mainly burgers on the day we were there)

Tasty sandwhiches. Popped in here for brunch on the recommendation of a colleague, the food was really nice, the drinks looked lovely. It gets very busy on a Saturday morning very quickly and it can be hard to find a seat. (There is outdoor seating, too). Due to all the plants in the building, it had a damp smell and heavy moisture in the air. Which was unpleasnt until a door was left open for fresh air to flow through. Otherwise, nice enough.

Lovely little cafe. Excellent prices. Service was exceptional. A very lovely welcoming team at the time we visited. Food was 5 star, tasted great. For the price you pay it was excellent. Cash only! Will remember that for next time. Will be back again!

It's a very very very pleasant place with great friendly staff

Luckily the original fish and chip shop we were going to had closed. We decided to try here instead. It was our luck; friendly staff and spotlessly clean and really tasty with extra large portions. Brill 🙏

Excellent meal, a real pleasant surprise, the first time trying Armenian cuisine, served by the lovely Yulia, really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Will definitely go again!

Why are you shutting down, is it the Brewery putting up prices or something else?

First time here… tasty, nice fresh fish and generous portions. Friendly service too, will be coming again!

Yet to try Dine-in food / experience but I hear good things. Best pizza in the village however really grinds my gears that they advertise takeaway pizza available from 5-8:30 Sunday evenings and then refuse to comply with what they have advertised, they claim because it’s winter they don’t offer that during that time. False advertising and has left a sour taste in my mouth towards this place.

It is the oldest pub in Arundel and the staff are always very welcoming, always worth a visit

What an absolute gem of a place. Not your sort of refurbed faux old pub, a real old pub. And the food is amazing good, and portions are huge. And real home cooked stuff. Prices are so cheap, especially for the amount you get. I booked for a family reunion, so varied ages and tastes, and everyone loved it. And they wrapped up leftovers in foil for us to take home. I recommend taking tupperware with you. Honestly the best place I've eaten in the UK for decades....lots of parking... you can have dogs in the bar area, but not the restaurant. And all the locals were so kind, wanting to pat the dogs. Just wished I lived around the corner, i'd ne there every day.

Good food for price, big portion

Great meeting place for Lunches, children made very welcome. Good menu, lovely coffees and cakes, all at fair price. Very friendly staff. Open throughout most of the day. Great ambiance & friendly atmosphere, love it there.

Had a great Sunday lunch meal. Food was amazing, and great value; best Thai food we have eaten in the UK.....recommend the mixed starter and the Weeping Tiger and Gaeng-Phed-Ped Yang mains. Good bar selection for drinks. Three of us ate for just over £100 including a good bottle of wine
