The best restaurants in South East

I’ve ordered a Chinese takeaway here several times now and we always get a great dinner. When my friends and family come over they always want to order from here as they love it so much too! We get generous portions and they’re always so tasty. I really recommend it here. Thank you!

On a mini visit to Eastbourne and spotted Harry Ramsden on the corner. They have din in and take away option. Slightly pricey than your average fish n chips, but totally delicious! It's the Beef dripping that provides the flavour. Service was excellent and welcoming. As a pesicarian, totally naive, munching away on the dish and read the Harry Ramsden history on the table to discover the beef dripping, when I don't eat beef. Then ordered a bread and butter pudding for elderly mother, to discover its made with egg, delicious even though my elderly mother doesn't eat egg! Had a laugh with the service staff after my discovery. OAP's get a special price but portion was small. Would recommend always to order medium or large portion. My photo is a small portion and was enough for me.

Really lovely surprise, at the end of our walk we found this lovely pub, The Smugglers Rest, nestled above the cliffs with sea views and both a dog friendly area indoors and a non dog friendly area (very helpful if youre allergic, as I am). A good selection of vegan and veggie options on the menu We were in a late lunch/early dinner time of day, so we went for a selection of starters and picky bits, including the vegan falafel, all really good Excellent service from Lily, she was very helpful with our dietary requirements and knowledge on ingredients

Comedy of Errors – Without the Comedy!! Booked two rooms. First one smelled like a damp cellar. Second had a lovely surprise in the toilet that wouldn’t flush down. Third room? Sticky old urine under the toilet seat. Oh, and dirty drinking glasses too – because why stop at just one hygiene issue? When we complained, staff insisted “everything is okay”. Inspiring confidence! At 10.30pm, after three room changes, we were told we could take a refund and leave. Manager Rebecca arrived with even more ego and told us to go (for simply giving a genuine a feedback) Cleanliness? No. Accountability? None. Attitude? Overflowing. Thanks for the trauma, truly unforgettable!

I will again praise farmhouse pizza Aylesbury, one of the best places for pizza and sides, great team who work there. Excellent service every time

Lovely food although they have stopped doing the mixed grill which is a shame. Jakob behind the bar was extremely diligent when I explained that my husband could not have seeds as they made him ill. There is a screen which shows all ingredients on the various dishes and he checked several times to make sure no seeds were included in the ordered meal. He definitely went above and beyond and is a credit to Wetherspoons. Breakfasts are very good value although they could be hotter, especially the beans.

We absolutely love Browns in Windsor! We often come all the way from London just for a weekend escape – and Browns is always our favourite spot for delicious food and cocktails. On our recent Easter visit, we brought our parents who were visiting from abroad, and they were so impressed! Big shout-out to our lovely host Magdalena – super friendly and welcoming. Great service, tasty food, and a perfect atmosphere as always. Can’t wait to come back again!

A lot of beer and a good restaurant they have small menus from June and in the evening around 7:30 o'clock at 8:00 they eat chicken with fries nachos and cheese and chili the atmosphere is nice when you drink a cold pint beer waitresses who also serve at the table with a nice warm terrace In the city center In the building excape the longest building in the city milton keynes is like a bunker

Clean comfortable place to eat drink and chat. Staff are really pleasant and polite. Food is great and plentiful. No silly little portions. Would definitely go back again.

Absolutely amazing service and food! Vivi was so helpful and even brought over ice cream and a candle to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Cant belive i have been sitting in the car for over 30 mins and my partner is in the kebab shop waiting to place our order but all the delivery people are being served in front. Needs to have two services one for deliveries and one for normal customers will not use them again
