Beautiful bar with seating by the river.

It irritates me, these days, when you sit in a restaurant and nobody checks to see how your food is, because they just want your money, and don't care about your experience. Our waitress here checked on us. Not only that, she replaced the starter my fussy Autistic child ordered and did not like, for free. The waitress was genuinely chatty with our neighbouring table. The mood of the place was relaxing, somewhat luxurious, and all round pleasurable. My son stated that if J was a restaurant, I would be this place. I agreed with him . My son had eyes bigger than his belly and ordered onion rings we did not need. They were too soggy and not crispy enough for us, but everything else was spot on: my Thai curry was devine, the grilled chicken as additional accompaniment that I ordered really good, too, which the waitress brought as a substitute starter for my son. I highly recommend this place.

A beautiful - very special afternoon tea that all tasted absolutely divine. Gorgeous sandwiches and heavenly mini cakes,scones and desserts ...washed down with beautiful glass of champagne and really lovely elderflower and pear tea. Very special indeed.

Wow! We booked a table for my birthday. Magdalena was our server. She was attentive and I explained it was my birthday. I also downloaded the Browns app, which gave me a free cocktail, too I had the lunch menu, which all sounded amazing, but settled for the mozzarella and tomato salad to start, cherry tomatoes, chorizo linguine, and to finish rhubarb and apple crumble with ice cream. All for £23.95. After main course, Magdalena brought me over profiteroles with happy birthday and a glass of bubbles. I'm really happy we choose to eat here. Thank you, Magdalena, for serving us today. We will be back soon

I ordered a £19 browns burger and Fries. The Fries arrived luke warm and rubbery and the burger just fell to bits in my hand and turned into mush. Terrible terrible meal but the cocktails were great.

Nice location and views of the river, good for large groups, and brunch options. Not huge amounts of variety though and fairly expensive.

The service was amazing! From the time we enter the restaurant until we left. All the staff was great, Nikoleta went above and beyond and made our time unforgettable. The food was very good

Booked for family celebration! The place was lovely and we had a really nice table out in the terrace with blankets & heated umbrellas! Unfortunately the waiter tone & attitude was so rude! So we left!

This is my second time dining here in Windsor, I find myself coming back for the amazing food, and the view over the river. The prawn and crab linguine is incredible! The mojitos are so tasty, and special thanks to Iva who was very attentive and personable as our waitress… Thank you and we will be returning soon!!

Used a voucher from my last disaster at Browns. Saturday morning brunch. Even worse than the first time. Incredibly disappointed. I ordered pancakes they where absolutely terrible. Ended up with two slices of toast and jam. And my husband had a traditional breakfast. And two coffees. £27 and that was without my pancakes wasn’t charged for them. I am a local resident. Doing a refurbishment isn’t always enough. Staff training would be a good idea. And essential for keeping an upbeat atmosphere. Won’t be returning.

Perfect restaurant on the banks of the River Thames.

We came in for dinner to celebrate a birthday and we are so glad we did. From start to finish Martyna our waitress was amazing, personable and took time to listen and understand a particularly picky member of our party. The food was amazing and our picky steak eater has left the happiest he’s been in 60 years of eating steak. We really are so pleased. Thank you so much!

Great place for drinks and food by the river

Our group of 8 family and friends, thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Browns today. The food was top notch and the service provided by Nikoleta was outstanding. Not only was she very friendly and attentive to our needs, she provided beautifully decorated and personalised desserts for the newlyweds in our group.

Steak was lovely!! Red wine was amazing. Very good overall.

The service is extremely slow in this place and the staff are not very friendly .

Exceeded expectations! Was really impressed with food. I had 3 courses from the fixed price lunch menu. Can recommend salmon starter, minute steak was (unusually) fab!! & Lemon Posset. The prosecco rose is delish as was the pinot rose blush! We had great service despite it being incredibly busy with the sunshine & Windsor Monday racing. Thank you to Christina Gheciu, so impressed with the service I took her name! Credit where it's due. Enjoy

I went with a friends on Saturday night and was so impressed! Great, delicious cocktails. Was pleasantly surprised by the range of food on offer and the very reasonable prices. Particularly nice service provided by Magdalena - a very nice , friendly and lovely girl, we had a wonderful time thanks to her! The food is fresh and aesthetically presented. We love the atmosphere There's a great buzz about the place. We will definitely be going back and will recommend Browns to our friends and family. Thank you very much Magdalena See you soon ❤️

Came across this brasserie by chance, after a walk down the riverside. Best decision! Food was great especially the porchetta and lamb shepherds pie. They had a good variety in their kids menu too, which was helpful. Highly recommend anyone looking for a delicious meal with a delightful view of the river.

Nice location and great service

It was a great experience! We had buffet and drinks for 25 people in the bar area: we loved the location, the atmosphere, the piano playing and the furnishing. The service was very efficient, friendly and relaxed. Food was truly delicious and all super fresh and beautifully cooked and served. It was a wonderful lunch!

Amazing Sunday roast! Highly recommend!

To be honest I was disappointed. The food was ok, but just ok. The service was not great. Felt forgotton about and had to ask for table to be cleared.

Lovely setting, beautiful service and food. Only marking down for the mummy that lunches allowing her child to run laps around the restaurant. This was not the staff or restaurants fault.

My starter was so tiny, duck and water melon, that I found 3 pieces of frazzled duck hiding under a lettuce leaf

Previously I found this place very crowded with sticky seats, floors and tables. On my recent visit the situation had improved vastly and the pla e felt very clean. The only negative is the bar food. I ordered fries and chicken skewers to share. Whilst the quality is excellent, I was left wondering what happened to the rest of my food as the portions were inversely proportional to the price! Would it have broken Browns' bank to throw in another half potato and another couple of skewers in there? You can't really tell from my photo how small the chicken skewers are but that's a small plate next to a small glass!

Hmmmm not impressed- sent our Sunday roast back three times due to it being luke warm- if the health department probed the food they would be in trouble !! The second time the roasts appear one had been microwaved ! So, beware! Shame in the kitchen for putting the guests and front of house through the ordeal! Not to mention the hit to the bottom line ! As well as negative public feed back ! Ouch!

We visited Brown's today for mum birthday, service from Magdalena was just exceptional!!!! Top class customer service ! She should be recognised by Brown's for outstanding service. We definitely coming back !

I came today for dinner and Magdalena was serving us. She help me choose starter shrimps and chorizo was the best I ever tried. Salmon with black rice! Amazing service and food! Definitely I’ll come back.

Eduardo ( I guess that was his name, Italian man) was our server for the night, we didn’t feel like we were welcomed at first, we waited some time and then he eventually came in to take our drinks order, we asked him for a recommendation for a nice sweet red wine, which he didn’t offer. We then settled for Prosecco instead. We then ordered our mains, however my friends and I were out to celebrate my birthday that night which was the purpose of the dinner. I had wanted a lobster dish which apparently was out of stock but we weren’t informed until another waiter came (whom was really nice) sat next to me and offered an alternative and he told me that it would be off the bill. Next we wanted to order a second round of drinks, it took us sometime to get his attention, when we finally did he seemed like he was in a rush and didn’t take our drinks order fully. Once he brought in our next round of drinks we had one cocktail missing so we had to remind him about it. Next we wanted to get some dessert and to clarify, while making the table reservation we mentioned that it is a birthday dinner and that we would have someone would bring it out with candles and sing all together. The candle was brought out with the dessert but when we asked if anyone is going to sing he said you guys can sing I won’t be singing. That was our experience dining with Browns. At no point we were asked if our meals were okay and it was disappointing especially towards the end. I’d like to thank the guy that offered the replacement for the lobster (tall guy with black hair).

Unfortunately I was very disappointed by my visit to browns, the first waitress we had was amazing and so attentive but after she left the service wasn’t as great and we found it very hard to get the waiters attention. The food was really poor, I had the burger and if I’m completely honest, it lacked a lot of flavour and was not worth the price, a lot of the guests with us was unsatisfied with there meals. The starters were good but the mains really need focus on…. I was really looking forward to my visit as it is my first time coming, and the atmosphere was great just had an unfortunate experience with the food.

Food wasn't be bad but service was way tooo looong. Portions wasn't be enough. They charging a tip that I wouldn't have added for this service.
