Food amazing and staff so friendly and helpful

Tremendous meal here tonight the staff couldn’t have been more helpful or attentive The food was great especially the aromatic duck which I adored they even gave us more pancakes to make some more We even bought the leftovers home to eat next day highly recommend this great restaurant highly truly excellent value and most enjoyable will definitely return again

Met with good friends from around the UK and we all agreed, this was the best Italian food we have had outside of Italy! Lovely staff (Emma, take a bow!). And the Frascati wasn't bad either ;-)

This is a lovely place for Sunday roast - the interior of the building is beautiful and all the servers were very friendly. The food was great and I was super impressed with the vegan roast option! Would definitely come again!

We visited the Highland Drove whilst staying in an Airbnb in the village. We went on a Monday evening and the menu was 2 courses and a drink for £25 ppl. The food was amazing, fabulous quality and very tasty. The portions weren't huge but it is definitely restaurant food rather than pub food. The menu changes daily(I think). I would highly recommend.

Fish wasnt the best overcooked. Very hot waiting around stood outside for ages. Always busy tho

18 is quite simply incredible. The venue is warm and welcoming. The staff are exceptional, friendly, supportive and understanding. So skilled, they’re almost invisible, service is always with a smile and there is nothing that is too much trouble for them. We look forward to going and it feels like we are seeing old friends, each and every time. The food is consistently to a very high standard. They have a wonderful lead chef - Brad, along with his team their dishes never fail to delight the tastebuds. I can’t recommend them strongly enough.

Had another superb meal last night. I cannot fault the food the service or atmosphere.Tried the duo of lamb,cooked to perfection.Would highly recommend you visit.Had a couple of cocktails to and they were also very good.Thanks everyone Louise x

Amazing food in a really nice setting. Good portion sizes, good prices, would absolutely recommend. Service was a little slow but if anything it added to the experience, it didn’t feel rushed and it felt like the food was cooked freshly and served very warm.

Had a wonderful and relaxing time at the Firestation Cafe today. The Owner Jake is a wonderful man and always makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. I decided to enjoy some coffee ☕️ and dinner and it was delicious 🤤…… Cooked to perfection! I ordered the Cajun Chicken which is one of my favourites on the menu.Very Tasty and Satisfying……. Thank you Jake & Lauren for the welcome today, for your hospitality😃 and the delicious food.

Awful from start to finish. Young girl waitress jumper covering hands and pink crocs on. All drinks from bottles and cans! Poor olives. Waited far too long for god awful dishes. Seafood risotto was chewy and inedible. Cannelloni meat tasted like dog meat. I'm going to guess frozen, reheated in the microwave which we saw, then in oven to make like lava. Mondello should not call himself a chef serving the nonsense we just saw. I hope people read this and stick to an actual Italian.

Since Ali left this place has gone down hill. Third time now we have ordered a take away and they have forgotten something. Last year on my birthday meal out we waited an hour for service. Foods okay but never using them again. Went from the best in a ten mile radius to the worst. So sad!
