Always had incredibly tasty food whenever I have visited here over the years. The service is always spot on, staff are very helpful and there is always a nice relaxed dining experience.

Lovely food and great service! Food service is quick and starters and mains are delicious, very decent portions too! Alert to allergies and any other food requests, definitely would recommend!

The best food on the street and the best hummus in my life so far

Was here on Saturday night (8th March) having booked a table last minute. We arrived about 10 minutes early and were quickly seated by the gentleman who was our host for the evening. Both he and the waiting staff were great. The food was lovely, good portions, fresh and full of flavour. Overall: Nice people, good atmosphere, lovely food.... and delighted that of the many options in the area that we picked this one. If we are down in Manchester again and staying in the Prestwich area then I'd happily book again.

Lovely aesthetic from outside and the restaurant has a nice ambience inside. I ordered the chicken shish, it was pretty plain and flavourless I felt that for chicken shish there could have been some options for seasonings as it it just had a smoked taste off the barbecue. The fries were cheap, super skinny could have been bought in any shop store and fried. I honestly felt like we paid a fortune to sit in a restaurant but got given takeaway kebab food. I tried my sons as he had something different too and again just something about it needed that oomf of flavour. There wasn't much rice either to balance out the chicken. I came expecting to experience a taste of Turkey full of flavour and it was all just very suburban high street kebab house. In fact I've had better from a takeaway and it cost us a fortune. When we came out of the restaurant, which was pretty quiet around 7pm the restaurant across the road was absolutely heaving so if it was my restaurant I'd be doing some fishing to take a leaf out of there book. Nobody even greeted us on our way out, not a single member of staff said goodbye.

I wanted a kebab/grilled meat sort of meal and narrowed it down to this place. 5 stars from me. Waiter was great, order taken fast and food turned up in good time too, though it wasn't busy. Food was delicious, everything was top notch. Superb flavours in all the dishes. Mixed grill was great. Meat was perfectly cooked. Been back a few times the food is beautifully cooked and thd kids pizza was great to. Our fussy monkey walloped it! 👍 It a hit the spot. I will be back. 👌

The early bird menu was very disappointing! We were only served TWO small meatballs for meatballs in tomato sauce for starters! The main course I ordered was chicken shish and it was very dry! Also the other main course was tavuk shawarma which was dry! ALL the food served was VERY BLAND to say the least! Very disappointing and we won’t be recommending this restaurant!

This is now mine and my fiancé's place to go. We first went when my father passed away and was celebrating his birthday, the staff was so welcoming and attentive. We go here for dye night now. Atmosphere is calming and beautiful. Food, well that's exquisite and good portions. Staff are lovely. Always walk away happy.

Garlic bread with tomato was extremely dry and the bottom was black in parts. The fries had barely any flavour, chicken was quite nice but the lamb was a tad dry.

Restaurant has a great ambience, plenty of seating and very efficient service! Food was outstanding, huge portions and great tasting!

It's fine. Cheap and large portions. The flavours are a bit muted though and not really "authentic"

Booked a table online. Was turned away by rude front of house male saying too busy to which we advised we booked online. We was advised there is a seat but it would be 15 mins wait before we could order by the female waiter which was fine. Sat down and the male waiter/front house came over and was very rude and told us we will be waiting a very long time. We was with a 6 year old. The restaurant wasn’t full. He was just very unwelcoming and rude so we told him we won’t stay because of his crap attitude

Visited today with my husband and mother and really enjoyed the food. The male server that attended to us was really nice and answered all our queries about the food . Cocktails were great , and Prosecco nice and value for money. The food itself was excellent and we’ll definitely be back. Pipping hot and delicious which is actually rare these days. Can’t wait to try the next set of dishes.

Had a two course lunch with drink for £16 here. It’s a stalwart of the Prestwich village restaurant scene and is still as good as ever. Really tasty food. Also recommend the Apple tea - sweet and delicious in hot weather. Really nice surroundings too, a cut above most restaurants and excellent value for money. They were playing some incredibly relaxing music which I Shazamed and found out it was a Hong Kong artist by the name of Susan Wong. So relaxing. I’m glad to see this is the number one restaurant in Prestwich. I think it deserves it. Nice service too and all extremely clean and well looked after.

Our first visit here - went for a late-ish lunch on a Monday and we'll definitely be back again. Choosing from the lunch menu, we had chicken wings and falafel followed by chicken shawarma and lamb kofteh, both served with rice and a nice bit of crisp salad. Everything was delicious - I was a but dubious about ordering falafel as they're often the consistency of sawdust, but these were lovely and served with a little pot of hummous. Service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing - music quiet enough to be able to chat comfortably and the place looked spotlessly clean. It was fairly quiet when we went, but I imagine it has a great atmosphere in the evenings too when it is busier. A definite thumbs-up from us!

Went in for a midweek lunch for 4 people, so it was nice and quiet! A lot of other places don’t open during the week until later in the day but we really appreciated Istanbul being open. We had the best meal we’ve had in a long time, and probably the best falafel we’ve ever eaten! We ordered from the Early Bird / Lunch Menu which was really reasonably priced and had plenty of options (both meat and a few vegetarian) I tried the hummus, garlic mushrooms, Moussaka and Imam Bayildi and all were delicious! Will definitely be back!

Went for lunch with family ,five adults and two little ones. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice, food good and good value. Service was exellent ,staff pleasent which made it an enjoyable time will come again.

Absolutely love it here, this is our second time and I feel like it deserves a review. Amazing food and the staff are so lovely and friendly! We always try and go for the early bird menu and it’s unreal every single time! Definitely definitely go!

My husband and I went to this restaurant on a Saturday early evening. We arrived at 4.50 pm and was able to have the early bird menu. We were the only customers in at this time but that didn’t matter. The staff were friendly and pleasant. My husband had the Efes beer he was disappointed that it wasn’t served in an Efes pint glass but was happy with the half efes glass they gave him. Starters we had hummus and garlic mushrooms. Both starters very good and tasty. The mains we had a chicken and lamb dish served with salad and rice. The mains were small but tasted good we asked for more sauce and they brought them straight away. Even though they were small dishes they did fill us up. Overall lovely meal.

Staff were lovely and catered for my vegan and gluten free diet by adjusting things on the menu. Very friendly staff

We go often here for the lunch menu which is normally great value but this last visit was a bit disappointing due to the reduction in quantities eg there where only two Falafels instead of the previous three (same with the meatballs) and there was less pieces on the main course Lamb Shish then to make matters worse there was a 10% service charge added on the bill. Penny pinching is loosing them a customer.

Lovely spacious Turkish restaurant. The moussaka was delicious. Staff were efficient and friendly. Early bird offer is great value for money.

Returned from a Turkey holiday still craving the flavoursome tastes of the country and we found this gem that did not disappoint! Customer service was fantastic and the food was flavoursome, plentiful and timely. The ambience was perfect for a midweek last minute date night with the hubby. Would highly recommend!

Went here for a meal last night. Could be due to be in January however we was the only people in the restaurant. However the food and the service cannot be faulted. I had BBQ Chicken Wings and the Chicken Shawarma. The food was so nice and would highly recommend. I have added x2 pictures of the food

We ate at Istanbul Grill in Prestwich on New years Day as it is also my sons 3rd birthday and I honestly can’t speak more highly of the service and food. What a brilliant place with amazing delicious food with first class service to match. We felt very looked after and the staff ensured my son felt very special on his birthday. Visited on a quiet Thursday. Starters were good but got eaten so fast I couldnt get a photo. Mains were v good. Service was v good too. This place comperes well with other Turkish places I have eaten. Will visit again and maybe try other places nearby. Prestwich is a town on the up I feel.

From the moment we arrived in the restaurant we were greeted with a welcoming smile and the atmosphere was amazing the food was absolutely gorgeous with plenty of choice on the menu I would definitely recommend calling here 💯%

Our grandson chose this restaurant for lunch as he wanted to try it for some time, and we were not disappointed, it was excellent. The staff were very polite and pleasant food was amazing,plentiful and variety of tastes. We will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Quality all around. The food was perfect. Simple yet elevated with flavour and substance. It certainly helps that it was also presented beautifully. The price was definitely good too, as we chose the lunch menu which has a starter and main for just £13.50. The atmosphere itself was so cosy and homely. You felt warmth as soon as you entered. Finally, the staff and service were impeccable. We ordered our food ahead of time and it was ready as required. The staff were attentive and polite and overall the whole visit was really nice. I would definitely recommend the baklava and garlic mushrooms!

Came here for my birthday. We always try to go somewhere we’ve not been before, but would definitely come here again. Not a massive menu but everything we had was tasty and good quality, and the meat - for me lamb and chicken - was so tender. It’s not a particularly glam restaurant from the outside compared, say, to others in the locality, but the quality of food and service made that unnecessary. Couldn’t fault it.
