The best restaurants in North West

I recently visited the restaurant with my friend on a Friday evening, the food was delicious, the meat was succulent and having the choice of bringing your own alcoholic beverages made it even better, only downside was the service , the young waiter was a little to eager taking our plates away whilst we still had food on our plates . Also very pushy with getting a tip from the card terminal, tipping is an option and not obligatory and I don't really like it forced upon me when I'm paying. Over all everything else was perfect.

Lovely restaurant and good food. We knew about the 90 minute sitting before we booked but still felt a bit rushed so we didn't go over our time limit. We didn't have time left for deserts. But apart from that all good.

Tried the buffalo chicken sandwich here, and it was fantastic—easily the best I’ve had in Manchester. The chicken was juicy, with just the right amount of spice and flavor. The fries were average, nothing too special, but the sandwich alone made the meal worth it. Highly recommend if you’re after a great buffalo chicken sandwich!

We had a lovely meal. Very nice service as always. Nice to see the place busy - as always. Good value for money.

Lovely traditional pub with friendly staff & great beer selection.

What can we say, We’ve visited this afternoon after previously visiting around 18 months ago which we left slightly disappointed. Not This time ! We were seated promptly, given menus and drinks ordered. The staff were incredibly attentive, we ordered starters and mains. The Food was simply DIVINE. Starters were so tasty we could have had even more! The mains arrived with a nice break between, we all had Sunday beef roasts which were all beautifully plated and so delicious! Did we need dessert absolutely not did we order them YES we did! Thank you to all the staff you’ve won us back which will now probably be every weekend! The wine the ambiance and welcoming atmosphere was perfect for a family of 3. Can’t wait to return .

It was so busy we couldn't get a table,sure sign of quality.

Unplanned .. but wonderful 👏 A family reunion , we had intended to have Chinese meal. Popped into this very homely busy American bistro. No one apart from myself had been before. After drinks in the lovely garden .. yep .. a garden in the city .. starting to think about food .. we all agreed, why go anywhere else after studying the fantastic menu. There were 7 of us .. and all of us chose different dishes, .. everything on all our plates was 😋 delicious . Many thanks to all the brilliant, smiley, friendly , ultra busy staff for accommating us. Boyfriend is a head chef and he said this was the best steak he had ever had!! Incredible food, will definitely be back! Aine was a fabulous waitress, credit it absolutely every single member of staff, so attentive and friendly and created the most welcoming atmosphere.

Such a unique place, very experimental drinks and very good story telling with the staff. They were so knowledgeable and friendly, there was someone on a table near us who didn't like his drink but didn't say anything, the staff saw this and promptly offered them another which was fantastic. I will 100% return if I'm ever in Manchester again
