Order was left hanging off the front door - delivery driver did not ring the doorbell nor call the phone number provided. A call to the restaurant was met with the excuse that once the food leaves the restaurant it is not their responsibility. Avoid!

We try and go at least every few months as we love it so much. The food is just amazing and the staff so great and you can take your own drink

We went on sunday afternoon as a party of 14, food and service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble for the waitress who was very helpful, bubbly and very informative, I would certainly recommend to all for amazing food at goid prices. Will definately be going again soon.

I used to dine at Yara about 10 years back, when I lived in Hale. I visited the Cheadle branch last week and the food tasted exactly as it did all those years ago! IMO one of the best Restaurants in the North West. I'm now based in Dubai and, frankly, Yara could easily compete with the best Middle-Eastern Restaurants here. My favorites were (and still are!) the Baba Ghannouj / Hommos / Potato Kibbeh / Chicken Kebab / Maklubeh and the Mujadarah. Hopefully Yara take note and open in Dubai!

Today I was invited to a wedding by family members and we were about 34 persons, let me start by talking about the food which was absolutely fabulous the starters were brilliant the freshly baked bread was really fresh and fluffy and soft, then came the main course which consisted of various grills, the chicken was absolutely well cooked not to dry pleasantly tasty, the meat, was very nice the herbs and spices used were brilliant, I really cannot fault the grills at all, then there was the fish then there was some other vegetable dishes everything presented to vary was brilliant the tea, the sweets or exquisite and very tasty and I know that every member who was in the party was extremely happy and said how generous this restaurant was, the service, was purely fantastic the manager of the restaurant at all handsome gentlemen I believe his name is AMAR was doing a fantastic job and I will always recommend this restaurant to friends and families well done to all the stuff

Yara is our go to restaurant for all our special occasions. The food is amazing and the service excellent. A great place to go with friends and family.

Service a little slower than expected as a large group attended at the same time however all staff were respectful and professional, they weren't very engaging in conversation so felt alittle sterile. Must stress they did not nake me feel uncomfortable just think more personal approach would be beneficial, there was a banging noise throughout our visit, unsure what or why but upset the ambience, the food is amazing so delicious and value for money. Recommend the 3 skewer chicken kebab with Mediterranean salad, rice was excellent, will be returning x

YARA was beautiful the food and the service was brilliant, we are regulars to YARA as a family, even our office staff meets up for meetings here, lately the service has gone really poor, as mains were brought up first before even the starters and we were told we ordered mains first. The attitude of staff and service seems down ..!! Not visiting again after this at all

My husband and I went for a meal last night . We always request a quiet table at the front of the restaurant because it can be very noisy in the conservatory in the back. The restaurant is very clean, modern and nicely decorated. There are a lot of very friendly, efficient waitresses . The food is always very hot, cooked well and portions are very large, so we usually have three starters and one main course with rice between us. We take a bottle of wine with us but there is also a small wine list. This a one of the best restaurants in Cheadle

Very nice food and service but felt very uncomfortable with 2 waitresses constantly hovering by our table waiting to take our plates away. Kept asking if she could take my husbands plate even though it was half full with food. He'd just put his knife and fork down to have a rest from eating for a moment.

I recently visited the restaurant with my friend on a Friday evening, the food was delicious, the meat was succulent and having the choice of bringing your own alcoholic beverages made it even better, only downside was the service , the young waiter was a little to eager taking our plates away whilst we still had food on our plates . Also very pushy with getting a tip from the card terminal, tipping is an option and not obligatory and I don't really like it forced upon me when I'm paying. Over all everything else was perfect.

The elegant treatment of Brother Ammar is beyond description. He is a very respectable person, and I will repeat visits to treat him. As for the food, I tried the meat shawarma, it was good.

The staff at Yara are fantastic but Amar the manager needs to learn people skills. He forced us out of the restaurant after one hour saying that our table was reserved for another party but failed to tell us that before we sat down.Kept on arguing with myself and my wife saying he told us that we only had an hour when we sat down which is a total lie. He never informed us of this and we were never informed of this on the online reservation confirmation. He was rude and argumentative and was just interested in the next group that had arrived. He even asked the staff to get the bill without us asking for it!!!. We will never eat there again and I informed him of this but didn’t seem bothered. No apology or any form of remorse. I would say to anyone wanting to go here to avoid like the plague. Worst restaurant I have ever been to. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

6 of us came for a joint birthday/anniversary celebration…WOW is all I can say! We shared the mezze sharing meal. The table was beyond full and we even had enough to take away for lunch for the next day. The staff were really helpful, friendly and the service was fast too!

Yara cheadle tends to be the restaurant my family come to for any special occasion, or well for a nice meal out and there’s a reason it’s our favourite. The service is always superb with the staff going above and beyond in terms if customer service. The food is high quality and always delicious, we tend to get the mixed mezze so we get a variety of food. It is BYOB which works well for all of us as there is a tesco next door. You always go in feeling welcomed and out with belly’s full. Thanks yara cheadle. We wont stop coming back!

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. The staff were super friendly and attentive. They surprised us by bringing over a honey cake whilst singing happy birthday. Really cute touch to the end of the evening. Would definitely come again.

The food was average I had chicken borek and half charcoal chicken. I mean if u want to have chat with your friends, get together, it's fine but food wise, there r lots of better places than this.. my friend ordered chiken and lamb shawarma both of them was dry as hell..

Yara is fantastic! The Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food is super flavorful and beautifully presented. We loved everything we tried. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable, and the complimentary appetizers were a great bonus. Definitely recommend Yara for a great meal with friends or family!

The set lunch menu is delicious and great value. Visited for an evening meal today (July 2024) and it was a great evening once again. Good food, friendly and speedy service and a great night out with friends. Love this place.

Delicious lamb shawarma, and vegetable stew- rice with vermicelli was super delicious- we took home what we couldn’t finish and ate a second yummy meal the next day at home. Wish there was a Yarra near me !

I went last week with my friend. The place is really nice and clean and has its vibe. The service is good, we didn’t wait for long to get the food,however, i wasn’t pleased with my food neither my friend, not hot enough and not as excepted compared to the price.

The food was amazing, and I loved every mouthful. I think they have a lot of new staff. All were very pleasant and polite, but lacking attention, I had to ask for everything, more drinks, additional sauce, could we be seated. A very small point, but one of the staff members didn't own an iron her shirt was straight out of the tumble, so creased looked really put of place as all the staff were dressed smartly. Its very relaxed atmosphere. Will return.

Three of us; two meat eaters, one vegan. We all enjoyed the food. The service is excellent, efficient, and unobtrusive. The cost was less than £30 each, for starters, mains and one dessert. My wife had lamb chops and brought some home; the portions were very generous. I had lentil soup starter and a very tasty vegetable stew for main. Absolutely delicious! Although the vegan options aren't extensive, what I had was perfect. Altogether an excellent meal. Thank you.

Soo I fancied something new, an I'm glad I did, I love Greek food and it's quite similar. The houmous was gorgeous and creamy, I got plenty, infact saved some for lunch tomorrow. The potato kibbeh was very new for me, something I'd like on a Sunday roast. Absolutely impressed, It went down well with a bottle of wine they also delivered. I think I'll be introducing my mum on a dinner date to the restaurant one night. Thanku'. Very tasty indeed.

A welcome dinner having landed at manchester airport and on way home to yorkshire. 5pm on a tuesday, walk in for 6 people. Already plenty of people there, food was amazing, staff attentive and sensible price.

The food was very tasty! I ordered halloumi which was amazing, and the falafels were great. It came with soft hot breads and spicy sauce on the side. There was a marriage party going on, but we still received great service. Staff was fantastic, definitely recommended! Thank you Yara :)
