Good choice of drinks and the service was very good. Especially as the place was busy, at the time of the visit on a Saturday afternoon.

We've visited Liverpool a couple of times now and already class this as our 'local' when away. Always a friendly atmosphere from both staff and locals... the beer and cider is always great too (especially the craft). Love the Latino Jazz on Sunday evenings too!

Only called in with a old friend, but nice and friendly

There are many great pubs in Liverpool but I doubt any have a Cask lineup of locally brewed ales as good and as cheap as here. First class service from the bartender who’s very knowledgeable about the local ale scene. Seek it out and enjoy!

This is the pub number in Liverpool on Sundays. The band that plays the jazz is incredible good . The atmosphere is perfect for any age (over 18). The prices are honest, and the service is amazing. I highly recommend this place on Sundays night until 12am.

Amazing gaff when it's not full of Tory LIPA students. Avoid student nights and your golden. Staff are belter and has the best and most varied selection of real ale in Liverpool. Big up the handsome bartender with the cap on 🤘

Sorry, we didn't order any food here. What a terrific pub, the service was friendly and relaxed. The atmosphere 👌 such a great pub. It was busy and punters were chatting and enjoying beers together.

A really nice pub with lots of great beers on offer. Staff are friendly and happy offer you samples of the large selection of craft beers they have. The peanut butter filled pretzels are stunning too.

Known as Little Grapes. No food available but a great selection of cask and craft beers, mostly local breweries. Jazz music by a LIPA band on the night I went.

Great pub and great atmosphere. Packed with pissed but friendly and polite Students thoroughly enjoying themselves . Rightly so. Great choice of Ale in a pub which understands how real beer should be treated.

It's a little bit out of the way, just off Rodney St but well worth the walk. They always have a great choice of Real ales, beers and ciders. Nice quiet pub where you can relax and have a pint in peace.

I went in for a drink with my friends, I was not made to feel welcome by the bar staff so my friends and I went elsewhere. I don't know if they serve food. Disappointing.

Love this place, always welcome, always chilled out and as far from pretentious as you can get. And the Guinness is fantastic.

Great find near the Bombed Out Church. Unusual selection of beers - the rum and whisky soaked stouts were amazing. A few more cider choices and I'd give it 5 ⭐️.

Well hidden away neighbourhood pub. Friendly welcoming atmosphere but very full and loud when we got there. Live band, too, in a stupidly small space.

A little bit of a mixed bag here, one member of bar staff in particular could do with some more customer skills, other than the said individual all other staff were polite and couldn't do enough. From the outside it just looks like an average backstreet pub but they offer a healthy range of local real ale at a good price. I've visited on a few occasions and have really enjoyed the beer and atmosphere but that one team member let the side down this time.

Nice little boozer (and it is relatively small) . Decent selection of beers at reasonable prices and friendly staff. I went late on Sunday night and they had live jazz until (I think) midnight. It was pretty packed, possibly because it was Bank Holiday on Monday.

It's a true liverpool pub unspoiled by corporate meddling so go have a pint 😀

Excellent pub. World famous toilets. The staff were incredible and it was very well staffed. Prices were more than reasonable.

Nice bar in the Cavern Quarter. Very good gappy hour prices. Karaoke later at night.

This is a really well known Liverpool pub & although its off the main thread of touristy bars I'd recommenf seeking it out as somewhere to visit along your route if you decide to do a mini pubcrawl of the area. Although I'd recommend limiting yourself to only 1 drink at each venue tbh lol as theres so many terrific venues in the area I'm sure you don't want to find yourself legless & lost down a sidestreet somewhere that you don't know lol 😆

We were staying near(ish) to here and having looked for a bar with a decent range of ales I asked a message on google if the bar was dog friendly I was informed it was . We walked there from our place of accomadation 30 minutes away and when we arrived were told it was "too late" for dogs Really ? I asked at 8pm We never establish what time was reasonable to have a dog out at night. Fortunate for us the Coburg did not have such an attitude to our dog being out late.

Excellent Liverpool pub about 10 minutes walk from Lime Street Station. 8 cask beers on handpump when I last visited including a porter. Has a terrace with a few tables outside upstairs. The pub dates back to 1804 and has the original Mellors signage outside.

Fantastic pub. Tucked away a bit but worth the detour off the main drag for a very arts/music oriented environment with a great range of spirits and real ale. Feels like a cross between Cherry Reds in Birmingham and Newcastle’s Jazz Cafe.

Without trying to sound super young but this place is best described with the word Vibe, unbelievable chill vibes. Lovely staff amazing drinks and just a loving aura around the place.
