Popped in on a Saturday afternoon for food. Was easy to find a table, good variety on the menu for adults and kids, service was fairly quick and was also able to take the dog in. Would visit again

We came tonight for a drink and to watch the football. We were served really quickly and had a lovely girl called Jess get our drinks. Great place to come for a drink and to watch the footy.

Pub was busy, which was nice to see. Some good offers were available but we chose off the main menu. Food took quite a long time to arrive but we weren’t bothered as we were sat chatting. We’d ordered a side of onion rings, but they didn’t arrive. Turned out they hadn’t been put through on the order. The waitress offered to put an order through immediately but we didn’t bother as we’d have been waiting too long. Burger was lovely, steak was nicely cooked. Chips were quite dry, as if they'd been reheated, but fries with the burger were fine. Not a five star meal, but was okay for the price. Would return in future, for one of the offers on various nights.

I booked online which was nice and simple. We arrived 30 mins early but no problem. Met with a friendly smile and taken to our seats. Told how to order, went to various and opened a tab the staff member so lovely Tom ? Didn't wait too long, food served and we were asked did we need any sauces. About 5/7 mins later the lovely waitress asked was everything OK. Food as always was perfect. We love the Seven Woods, great atmosphere, fabulous staff and lovely food. We have a huge choice of pubs but this is our favourite.

Staff are friendly, food always great

Gluten free menu is good, plenty of choices, ask for separate GF menu. Sausage and mash unusual for GF but welcomed. New sloppy pizza was very good and plenty fresh content and good tasty base. Bar staff polite and friendly particularly Lauren who was exceptional!

A really warm welcome and excellent customer service from Ange. Although quiet in January Ange was really helpful at the initial welcoming and order. Couldn’t do enough for us to enjoy the afternoon.

Another great evening at the Seven Woods. The real ale was crystal clear as always and the food was to the usual great standard. Ben was a fantastic host as are the rest of the staff so I’ll look forward to my next visit.

What a an amazing pub, the customer service skill that’s all the staff have are incredible and every welcoming, abi was a server today and honestly she was the most helpful, friendly and efficient person we have been greeted by in a while! Thankyou so much for making are experiences better then expected. Definitely recommend!!

I had a meal in the 7 woods over Christmas with my husband. The food was good and the atmosphere was OK, so nothing to complain about. The highlight was the young man Cian the bar man, who looked after us. He was polite, funny and attentive. We are planning to go again in the new year with friends and were just hoping Cian is working that night.

Absolutely fantastic local pub with a real focus on the local community. The staff are outstanding - attentive and efficient. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my family.

Excellent service from the guys on the bar. Always a good selection of drinks and the food is tasty and great value. Can't wait to get drunk again next week.

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly bar staff and comfortable environment. The food is lovely (and we’ve tried lots of the menu). A big bonus is you get to meet doggies, which are also welcomed, in fact they have their own menu, fantastic. More locals should follow this example, well done, keep it up.

I'd reserved a table for dining and we were placed next to the big screen tv with the sound blasting out, surrounded by a lot of people watching the football. Not really the ideal place to have a christmas meal with the family. Felt very uncomfortable and it ruined the festive mood. Could hear each other speaking.

Great, no hassle, table was ready and waiting for us. Plenty of condiments etc. pub atmosphere was really good, it was busy but a good busy as there was plenty of buzz. Good selection of food and drinks. Clean as well.
