Got a voucher so came along and have had the best meal. We are so full! Highly recommend..lovely little local with such good value food

I had a meal in the 7 woods over Christmas with my husband. The food was good and the atmosphere was OK, so nothing to complain about. The highlight was the young man Cian the bar man, who looked after us. He was polite, funny and attentive. We are planning to go again in the new year with friends and were just hoping Cian is working that night.

Staff are always straight over to serve you and really polite and welcoming the food is incredible and the atmosphere is always brilliant definitely recommend

Food was amazing and tasty. Good variety. Staff were amazed g even though we had them harassed with a group of 25!

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly bar staff and comfortable environment. The food is lovely (and we’ve tried lots of the menu). A big bonus is you get to meet doggies, which are also welcomed, in fact they have their own menu, fantastic. More locals should follow this example, well done, keep it up.

A warm welcome awaits at the Seven Woods. Staff are friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and a a huge choice of both food and drinks. Anything we requested was accommodated quickly and with a smile. Special thanks to Abi for taking amazing care of us.

Went for lunch today had a lovely meal with my partner . The lady who looked after us couldn’t be more helpful.

My wife and I enjoyed our meals. Which was served by the friendly staff member Jess. I had the mixed grill and my wife had the chicken tikka masala.

I'd reserved a table for dining and we were placed next to the big screen tv with the sound blasting out, surrounded by a lot of people watching the football. Not really the ideal place to have a christmas meal with the family. Felt very uncomfortable and it ruined the festive mood. Could hear each other speaking.

It was a pleasant evening dining with family for our Christmas night out as we caught up on life. Pleasant atmosphere, staff and service. Thanks

Great, no hassle, table was ready and waiting for us. Plenty of condiments etc. pub atmosphere was really good, it was busy but a good busy as there was plenty of buzz. Good selection of food and drinks. Clean as well.

Lovely pub in a good location. Very relaxing atmosphere, well priced food and generous portions. Abi was our server and was very lovely, we appreciate this place and would happily come back again.

Came in for a quick drink and a darts game and was served by a lovely girl behind the bar named Jess, will 100% be back first time coming here and was greeted with a welcoming smile!

Great value for money! Cask ales are great value and always fresh! They do a cracking point of directors. Southern fried chicken burger was excellent along with the team being super friendly.

Abi was such a lovely approachable lady. She was very helpful, she made the experience really nice. I think it’s so nice to have someone on front of house who’s very smiley and kind. She also offered us a better deal on our food which is fantastic customer care and service. I would love to add that it was lovely and warm inside the restaurant too which made me feel more relaxed. Came in with mate and the customer service if a I was impeccable can’t stress enough of how much she does for us every time we come in! She is amazing at what she does she runs around all the time like a headless chicken to make everything perfect do you couldn’t thank her enough! Definitely recommend 😁

We had a lovely meal.... there was a mix up with one of the meals but the staff were really apologetic and offered us something to make up for the error....the food was excellent and the pub is so warm and friendly....we will definitely be back....

There is nothing I can suggest to improve the food atmosphere and general ambiance is just fantastic. Keep doing what you do it’s working. I have visited other Marstons pubs in the area, yet we always cone back to The Seven Woods, the food is better the staff sre great polite and attentive. I wont be going anywhere else as a result. Just a great example of what a local pub should be. If I wasn’t loosing weight I would be there far more often.

Great staff and landlord (Vikki and Lez). Well priced food and good beer. A very comfortable environment. Updated today: the pub is very busy today however Jen has managed the situation magnificently. Her persona and "can do" attitude never changes regardless of the environment.
