The best restaurants in Wyre North West

Overall the place is okay, it's clear that it used to be incredible but there is a clear lack of care and attention to detail from the owners. Our room had multiple walls with cracked paint, flaking off. Lights painted over partially. 4 of the hot tub jet caps flew off the moment we turned them on and floated to the top. Carpet unclean and small dirt marks on the bedding. The exterior of the room was absolutely coated in cobwebs and dirt, clearly hadn't seen a duster in months. and the Italian restaurant LOOKS really nice and high end, but overall lacks in flavour. Cheap wine marked up heavily and bland calamari. HOWEVER the kids play area looked incredible fun for little ones. The overall aesthetic is quirky, makes you forget what year it is in a good way. The pizza at guys restaurant was incredible, as was the breakfast. Comfy bed, nice space in the room. The pub on site was cozy and welcoming. Overall we felt with some TLC and some effort put in, this place could be incredible and even increase it's rates per night, if it was cleaner and tidier we'd have happily paid 20% more. Good value for money, there is a reason it's fairly cheap though.

Ordered a food box the eggs were completely uncooked still had jello around the top the beans were hard and not hot in my opinion the wait time was a joke for uncooked food (20-30min)

I usually come here every once in a while but they do really good food there and they're usually done in a reasonable time frame

Lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean. Great size bedroom with a view of the sea.

Steak pudding was heated up not fresh.The meat was burnt & the crust was rock hard. Potato skins had no taste & again you could not cut through them with a knife. The side salad was probably the only part we ate without having a negative thought. A pint of Stella & a sparkling water was £8.50 which in my eyes is taking the piss. No wonder it’s up for sale Atmosphere is crap also

Wow a mother's day disaster, this pub used to be so good now it's worse than rubbish. Came for mother's day dinner to be told we could not order food for an hour, even though we had booked a table. People who had booked were being turned away and people had been waiting 1.5 hrs for food they'd already ordered. We were given a dirty table and was asked if we wanted it cleaned 😮😮. 1 person serving at the bar while other staff members just walked around looking busy. Mother's day and they couldn't even order enough food for the bookings they had, even though the carvery here is no longer on 🤷🤷🤷. I can't even give this pub 1 star, and it used to be 5 star.

We love Seniors fish and chips anyway, but treated ourselves to the John Dory this week. If was beautiful. The batter was crisp with no grease, and the delicate flavour of the fish was so good one of our cats was trying to sit on the plate. It's not a cheap supper, but it was worth what we paid.

Had lunch here advertised home made pie. We had pie and chips 2 cups of tea. £25 if it was good I wouldn't have cared but it was awful. Both of us felt horrible. There wasn't even any veg with it. Should have known when most people was only having drinks. Will not be going again, make your own minds up.

Ordered from here many times never had a bad one.

My usual go to place. The munchy box is great and a big portion. 5 stars!

Nice traditional pub with good service, will try again and looks to have decent meal options. Will revisit and try the food.

We came for Sunday lunch today for my Dad’s birthday & what can I say. As always hands down the best service & food. Every big event we have in our family there is only one place we come 🥹. Our food was amazing & as per usual the staff were the best, always making our time with them so special. We are so grateful. The horns is our favourite pub of all time, we would live here if we could. We love it!!✨ just exceptional!!

Yesterday I went in this Costa and The staff were very brilliant and happy to cool down my hot chocolate and I struggled to pick up the tray with my hot chocolate and brownie on to take to the table so a staff member called Mark asked me if I needed a hand and I said yes and he very kindly helped carry the tray to the table for me and that made me feel very comfortable and know that people like him are considerate of helping people
