My usual go to place. The munchy box is great and a big portion. 5 stars!

Paid for a portion of chips. And they put it in my chicken Curry to hide them. . Put it on a plate. And had 6 chips ..and loads of onions .. Never again will I go and order ..quality very pore ..

Had a take away from China house 29/06/024 I had the Cantonese fried rice special also the beef and mushroom,totally surprised delivered when they said but when the meals cam they were as if they had just come out of the pan they were that hot. Great food and highly recommended.

Absolute waste of £30, stopped using China House when got new owners couple of years ago, thought I’d give them another try as usual was closed on a Monday, was really looking forward to it and highly disappointed, couldn’t even eat it. Seaweed tastes like plastic and the crispy shredded beef was just great big hunks of chewy beef in sauce, nothing crispy about it at all!

Absolutely bloody delicious. Excellent food and service first class every time. Plenty of food for 2 and enough for the next evening too. Tried lots of takeaways since moving up here from London, but this is the best takeaway by far. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Bland & overpriced, such a waste of money

Mediocre takeaway and by far the worst in the local area. I have ordered from here twice before and both times I was left disappointed in the quality of food. What was most disturbing about the negative experiences I have had was that they failed to hit the mark with traditional takeaway favorites such as Kung Pao Chicken and Shredded Beef. In particular, I found the Kung Pao Chicken’s texture frankly bizarre, it was slimy and wet as if were undercooked. If the main dishes of a typical Chinese takeaway is lackluster the quality of rice or chips cannot possibly make up for it. I cannot attest to the quality of the chips as I have never ordered them, however other reviewers appear to have found them satisfactory. The rice however, was subpar and dry. The only redeeming factor to this takeaway is the unmatched operating hours throughout the night making it an ideal option if the other superior takeaways in the area are closed. The staff are friendly enough and the service is okay. Overall, this is ultimately the takeaway of last resort only when other options are closed and you are willing to trade off quality for that convenience, and at a slight premium compared to other establishments as well!

Won't use again,reheated soggy starters, fu yung so salty inedible, strange taste to singapore fried rice

Ordered the munchie box and duck totalling to £35. Messed up the order with the box not including the noodles. When I called to check I I had the right box I was told to look properly cause they were there. When eating the duck I noticed a lot of it was overcooked and the cucumber was soft and slimy.

Cancelled my order after 20 mins into three order, disgraceful

Avoid at all costs. The food was so bland Singapore noodles tasted of absolutely nothing Singapore fried rice my wife ordered was tasteless It's so sad that the previous owners have retired because the new owners do not have a clue 😢

Nice food .tiny portions. 6,40 for a small rectangular box of food. Way overpriced. I won't revisit.

Got the fillet steak green pepper and black bean sauce the steak was slimmey and chips tasted like refried and rice was cold also got omelette that was terrible won't order again.

Had a delivery lastnight. The worst chinese I've ever had. It was hard chicken was old it was worrying to even eat. Disgusting is the only word I can use. Only ordered as usual one was closed as it was Tuesday- NEVER AGAIN

Visiting from Yorkshire on our holidays & wanted a takeaway to take back to our caravan! The food was ready quickly, was still piping hot after the 10 minute drive back and it was all very tasty! Fantastic spare ribs with loads of meat on them and the portions were huge! Will definitely return in the future!

This is a great local Chinese takeaway. We have used it regularly since it opened and are never disappointed. delivery is usually really quick as if we chose to collect. Portions are generally on the large side so worth ordering sensibly.

Ordered £40.10 worth of food had it delivered and it was disgusting that bad it went in the bin. Overcooked, dry and it was all like it had been cooked in pure salt. You couldn't taste the food for the salt. I would not recommend this place to anybody please stay away .

I ordered £40 worth of food from you lastnight which included a munch box . I was very disappointed with the munch box because it was so salty and everything was over cooked . It tasted dreadful it was like eating raw salt and the whole box went in the bin. Even the separate portion of noodles just tasted of salt. I have been in catering management for years and I have never tasted such awful food in my life. You need to control the amount of salt you put in your food because it really is disgusting. It's bad when you spend that amount of money on food and it's thrown away because all you can taste is salt and the fact that everythings been over cooked. Thankyou for an awful meal ,total waste of money. I will definitely not be recommending you to any of my family or my friends . This happened on the 28th December 2022 it was ordered at 19.19pm by phone on your direct number . I was not told on placing my order that it was a salt and pepper munch box otherwise I would not have ordered. The extra noodles I ordered were also disgusting ,

The chips was very dry over fryed chips. curry and chips was dry not enough curry sauce on very over fryed chips we are on holiday in Blackpool will not be going too this Chinese anymore yet China house looks very nice on outside just goes to show.

Went past the place on our way to our holiday cottage, which had a takeaway menu, so when we went to see the lights, we decided to pick up a late tea on the way back, and was more than glad we did. Spicy stuff, just the right kind of flavourful spiciness, well cooked tender meats, crispy prawn crackers, and perfect salt & pepper chicken wings.

Ordered at 7 here in 5 minutes.. food not fresh over cooked curry sauce more like curry blob..... shocking food

Lovely Staff and lovely food. Never normally have Chinese but this was my second visit in a week. First time it was the chicken chow mein. This time the Cantonese Chicken. Both meals delicious.

1st time trying this place last night. Staff lovely, customer service and speed, brilliant. Food, dreadful. Munch box was that salty it was inedible and sits in the bin barely touched. Noodles were greasy, spring rolls you could squeeze the grease out of them. Curry was a super thick glutinous mass, almost a set custard texture. Only ate a small amount and had stomach ache all night burping pure chip fat. Never again.

Ordered 4 different meals to be delivered to Fleetwood, arrived within 20 mins. No way can £33.90, 4 meals be cooked and delivered fresh so quickly. The chips tasted old/reheated, the rice was dry and the chow mein noodles were just a box of grease. Prawn crackers are usually a free item with larger orders but was told this was no longer available. I would rather wait an hour for fresh cooked food than have reheated food delivered in minutes. 0/10

Good value, good portions (plenty of meat). Beef chow mein is my favorite. Right next door to Wetherspoons so you can pop in after drinks, order delivery and it will arrive just as you walk home :)

Love the much box it is usually amazing and great deal of chips chicken rice and selection of spring rolls and batters balls but there should be more chicken wings

Our usual venue choice was closed so we chose China House in Cleveleys for our family take away. Totally disappointed. Artificial. Tasteless. Over-cooked. Basic. Worst EVER. The egg fried rice was glued together. The noodle dried up. The sweet n sour chicken in rubber batter chunks with a pot of illuminous orange glob (no peppers, onions or pineapple. This is not a dish but a cheap option. Chips served dried and reheated. Will NEVER revisit. Or recommend. AND over-priced. Plus …it was miraculously ready in 10 mins from ordering. We should have doubted then !!

Excellent selection of dishes all at reasonable prices. Dishes contain a large quantity of very tasty food. Cooked to order whilst waiting a very shorttime in the shop, although you can 9rder by phone either for collection or delivery. Highly recommended

Food good But need to get a card machine that works or get someone who now's how to us one second time tried to or with card and says that it doesn't match? Just ordered from OK diner a card payment went through straight away.

We ordered a char sui chow mein. Salt and pepper chicken and chips a crispy shredded chilli beef with a hot and sour soup and prawn toast with a sweet and sour special. Everything was lovely. The staff were lovely and helpful too. Will definitely use again.

Ordered for the first time on New years Day. Friendly and helpful staff. Order arrived well within time. Huge portions honey ribs and chicken fried rice delicious. Sweet and sour chicken very tasty my wife who is very picky really enjoyed it. Chips a little overcooked and curry too spicy for me but that's personal taste. Will use them again.

Ordered from here for this evening and I won’t be ordering again. I ordered Hot and sour soup, special fried rice, spare ribs with sweet and sour sauce. The soup was great, no issues there. Sadly that’s the only positive I can offer for this review. The rice was tasteless and didn’t have much meat content in it for a special fried rice. The ribs lacked salt and flavour in general. The sweet and sour sauce also lacked flavour and was that bright I am sure if I had turned the lights off it would have glowed. Very disappointed. My partner ordered a chicken chow menu, it was inedible. Salty, dry and the noodles were so over-cooked they were rubbery. My daughter had the crispy duck which she said was quite nice. For £38 of food I expected much better than I got. Very disappointed

Best munchy box I've had even went out there way to deliver out of area for us as others closed round near us . defo recommend this place to others and the salt and pepper munchy box . although out of area still arrived hot and quickly

Ordered from China House twice in the last month. On both occasions the food has arrived freshly prepared, piping hot with lots of good quality ingredients. The portion sizes are very generous and I would definately recommend them.

Wow! Loved it! Was on a week's holiday and stayed at Cala Gran (Haven). Went looking for a local takeaway and decided on the China House. Food was hot & tasty and service was quick and friendly, gutted I live 200 miles away otherwise I'd be back regularly.

Best Chinese by far :) the munchie boxes are amazing! Plenty in it to feed a family off 4 and delivers piping hot

We have been ordering from here for a couple of years now and it is always sensational. Seriously, it’s by far the best Chinese takeaway in the whole area - Blackpool, cleveleys, Thornton, you name it. We’ve mixed it up and had Chinese, thai, English dishes, all of it is gorgeous. Everything is crammed into the plastic containers so you couldn’t fit anything else - the rice feeds 3 easily. It all tastes delicious.

We ordered the munchy box for a weekend treat, it arrived very quickly and was delicious. Ordering was simple and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be ordering again soon as all the family enjoyed the food.

Ordered the red thai chicken curry,for home delivery,omg the meat was disgusting,it was all slimy,didnt have the texture of chicken,didnt look like chicken,i dread to think what it was.rang up to complain,they collected from my home and refunded me the money.Dont recommend that dish,and certainly wont be using them again.

We recently decided to try a takeaway from here as our local Thai restaurant was closed. The staff were very friendly and I liked that they had a 5 star rating with food hygiene! There had been a few mixed reviews but so did other places so we wanted to take a chance and try here! The mushroom chow mein was delicious and not greasy like some! The sweet and sour chicken cantonese style was lovely too! We were very impressed with how hot it was and the portion size was very generous! A few days later we were at my parents house and decided to get another take away from here hoping it was just as good! We were not disappointed and my parents enjoyed the meal tremendously! We ordered the sweet and sour chicken with the batter balls, special curry, chilli beef and the mushroom chow mein again. We will be having this again as my parents said it was just as good as their local Chinese they normally go to and we couldn’t get enough of the prawn crackers as they were tasty and not greasy!

Ordered from here last night. Experienced very bad customer service and communication from them: Ordered a munchy box from them and specified twice on the phone that I wanted sweet n sour as the sauce, was also put on the receipt. Unfortunately they delivered it with curry sauce..I rang them straight away and spoke to the boss, explained and he said in his words “sorry for the confusion, we’ll send another one as soon as the driver is back”. 20 minutes later and the driver comes back with a pot of sweet n sour sauce. Turns out the takeaway was more than happy to leave us with the old food, which was going cold as the driver and takeaway were messing about trying to get a pot of sauce right. I rang them up wondering why they couldn’t supply us with fresh food which was all correct and the boss said that “they can’t ensure that peoples’ orders will be correct, and as there is ‘nothing wrong with the food’ they will just resend a sauce pot”. Bare in mind that you pay a premium for a munchy box (for it all to be together) and that the error was completely on their behalf. Wasn’t impressed with it to be honest, at all.

it will take awhile to get though the extensive menu, the quality of the food and portion size are amazing.would not go anywhere else

Exelent food with happy and attentive staff. Tried most Chinese in and around Cleveley,s but China house is the best by far.

I've changed my Chinese as my other one was closed yesterday. So I try china House when it arrived. I served it up the rice was dry and quite hard. I was not happy at that point. Then I tried the chips they tasted like the bin fried about 5 times. For the chicken balls I have been sick and I'm not feeling very well today. So not a very successful visit to China House thinking everybody saying it's really good I disagree this time around.

Very disappointing! The worst Chinese cuisine we have ever tasted! Both of the meals that we purchased ended up in the bin. Never again!

Won’t be returning. Noodles, seaweed and salt & pepper wings tasty but the main courses very disappointing, all seemed to be same colour, schezwan chicken bland, special curry mostly sauce & powdery, chop suey interesting, orange and nothing like we’ve ever had before, in a bad way. Order was ready 10 mins after phoning.... good or bad sign? Great if you like big portions of gloopy samey food, Sorry wanted it to be good but I’m being honest.

It's the 1st time i have visited China House and it certainly won't be the last. Nice friendly counter staff, spotless kitchen and the food was excellent. 10/10 from me.

We're visiting family and wanted a Chinese. Glad we chose this one, it was one of the nicest chinese meals we've had. I had chicken & cashew nut and hubby had crispy salt & pepper chilli chicken. I think that's what it was called. They were both excellent with lots of vegetables and plenty to eat.

We have had several lovely meals from this take-away since it opened. Generous portions and their chicken noodle soup is almost a meal in itself. Would recommend!

Currently the best place to get a takeaway in the Lancashire area! Delivery is 5 miles so perfect for anyone a bit far away, also very friendly service and the most amazing hand man food! Highly recommend and definitely would eat again 10/10!!!
