Received the wrong order, dealt with extremely rude kitchen staff who refused to rectify the order. Will not be returning.

Food was sub par. Didn’t receive some of the items that we ordered and then they proceeded to argue that we were wrong and wouldn’t offer any assistance and were incredibly rude when we phoned them to inform them about the situation. Terrible customer service and won’t go back to them.

This restaurant got recommended to me, and all I can say is I will be returning. The food was beutiful and that service from staff and also just as good.

Poor quality. Missing and wrong items on order, customer service skills were seriously lacking with kitchen staff being blatantly ignorant. Disappointed

If I could leave 0 Stars I would! The food was absolutely awful and the staff were rude to us even with the significant amount that we spent! When we called you stated that you was "Busy" and then state in another review that it was the only order tonight! Will not visit again.

After going to the great wall for many years were dissatisfied with the service tonight, after one and a half hours (we had booked) we had only had our starter. The two waiters did their best, there were 4 tables occupied. Takeaway took preference over diners. Extremely disappointed. Wanted to speak to Amy but she wasn't available due to staff shortage.

5 Star Review House in Manchester but have the privilege to work in Artist Studios above Market, (since July) - so I’m often trying out different places for eats. Tried most chippies, (all brilliant), tried several market food outlets, all pretty good, tried Ferry Cafe multiple times, fab, and tried other cafes around town too. I am an old Fleetwoodtownian, contented and happy at food provided by this wonderful place. Then, for a change I yearn for Chinese food. Come across the ‘Great Wall restaurant’ for first time. Wow! Fantastic Chinese art on walls creating a warm authentic atmosphere. Welcomed by very lovely lady very helpful and nice. Ginger chicken dish delicious, Chinese Tiger Beer great. I love my Birth Town - I’ll be back!

Been here quite a few times and the food and service was great today. We always get the celebration menu as there is plenty to go round and you get a good variety of food. Definitely recommend it

Located in a beautiful area in the town,making great yummy food.We tried sweet and sour chicken,sweet and sour king prawns,soups,at least two of the rice dishez,curry and banana boat. We kept licking our fingers,and I say,the size being all right as vell. Real value for the money,recommended.

The Great Wall started off strong. The starters were a delightful surprise. Everything arrived perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. It had us excited for the mains, but unfortunately, that excitement fizzled out faster than a forgotten firework. The main courses themselves were a bit of a letdown. While the flavors seemed alright, they were lukewarm at best. It felt like they'd been sitting for a while before reaching the table, which significantly dampened the overall experience. The service was another area that could use some improvement. The staff, while polite, seemed a bit inattentive. It took a while to get their attention for things like glasses for our beers, forks for our mains and dips for our prawn crackers. With a little more training, I'm sure they could become a real asset to the restaurant. Overall, The Great Wall was a mixed bag. The appetizers were fantastic, but the let down on the mains and service means I wouldn't be rushing back any time soon. Perhaps with some focus on keeping dishes hot and better staff training, they could truly live up to their name.

Fantastic, fresh food, I can tell the sweet and sour sauce is homemade and not bought in large batches. Been to a lot of Chinese restaurants and this is one of the best. Great service. Would recommend salt and pepper chips!

Great food and service, the restaurant is a bit quiet

The lady who works here is brilliant. Very attentive and helpful. The good is the best chinese food in the whole of fleetwood. This has definitely become our regular fortnightly take out.

Ok, this is not a review I like leaving. My partner and I decided to try this place for a belated valentines meal. We have not been out to a restaurant in roughly two years, due to times being tough. This year we decided we deserved a treat. A treat it most certainly wasn’t. We arrived when the place had not long opened and it was empty. Shown to our table by a young lad. Who left menus on the table and walked off. No welcome, No offer of drinks, nothing. It was freezing cold so I kept my coat on. So far, so bad. We had to call him over to get drinks. Don’t think he smiled once during this time. I can almost live with that, he’s a kid, very rare to get one that is good at front of house ALONE I might add on a Saturday night. Drinks arrived some point shortly after. Then another table arrived and were seated. After seating them he walked straight past us again so we had to call him back to place the order. You can see on the receipt pic below what we had. So we wait a while and the lad brings out a warmer with some cold plates to put on top, that are never going to get warm as it wasn’t giving out much heat. Then the bowl of what I can only describe as knuckle and bone surrounded by grey meat, swimming in some frothy dish water with some Spring onion and chilli on top. Ok, we look At each other, and decide to at least try it. The pork was inedible. Both of us are happy to spend all day sucking meat off the bone if it’s good. This was not. Was so tough and smaller than an inch square so you just couldn’t get any meat off. By then the pancakes had arrived, with crispy lamb and accompaniments. My partner doesn’t like hoi sin so asked for a small Bowl of curry sauce. I got a pancake out and it was barely warm and didn’t want to wrap. My partner took his pancake out and it fell in half. There were supposed to be six pancakes, but it seems we only got four. called the lad back and told him they were cold and asked for warm ones. Didn’t apologise or anything. The lamb for the pancakes was lukewarm at best. But I love crispy lamb, so was happy to make do With it this way. Already feeling a nuisance. So then he brings out the curry sauce my partner asked for. At this point or thereabouts, my partner gives the lad the bowl of knuckles back and tells him to take them as they are inedible. So we wait for more pancakes. They come out and the lad mumbles something about not being able to cook heat them too much as they go crispy. They should be steamed!!!! So when we open the basket they aren’t really much warmer than when we started, AND this time, there are only three of them. Three between two, does not go. And still does not amount (with the two taken from before) to six pancakes. Somewhere in amongst all this we got two more drinks (necessary by now!) Upon taking the ribs back into the kitchen we heard the lad tell the lady there and ask her if he should adjust the bill. Didn’t hear a response. I ate all the lamb, my partner had a few crumbs as it put him off being cold. We decide between us that before we part with any more hard earned cash, (the pancakes were £11.80!!!!) we had better make our escape. The fried rice on the next course was £11 odd on its own! Listen, we were well prepared to part with that for some great food and service! By now the restaurant had a few more tables in. This lad should not be front of house alone on a Saturday night of all days. You need someone on the ball, warm and welcoming. Especially if you are going to charge those prices! You even have to buy your prawn crackers! Every other restaurant we have been to in 30 years plus has given complimentary. The final nail in the coffin was the bill. No apology, no removal of ribs. And the best part of £40. My partner and I have never had such a Disappointing experience in a Chinese restaurant. We will never go back. And will warn others not to bother. DO BETTER.

Very nice restaurant with a wide ranging menu. My choices were excellent, and as a bonus they serve non alcoholic beer too! Recommended the dim sum, made to order and perfect.

Great food, great atmosphere!! Authentic Chinese cuisine but can also cater to more Western style which suited us perfect so we could have a variety. Staff were very friendly too. We will definitely be back soon for more S&P dishes or the duck and pancakes!!

5 of us had a lovely meal here on Friday night I really enjoyed my special fried rice will definitely make the visit from Preston again soon

Ordered a meal on for pick up stay at a caravan resort spent £37 in total wished I had cooked at home to be fair . Where do I start sweet and sour sauce like vinegar, prawn cracker stale no crunch to them and egg rice no taste it was old rice fried from previous day it was disgusting portion sizes were appalling to . Wouldn’t recommend at all

We travel from the Lake District every few months and we always look forward to our meal here. Amazing staff and the food is excellent. Highly recommended.

Nice friendly service. Good choice of lovely food. My wife and I eat here each time we visit Fleetwood 2 or 3 times a year. We have never had a better Chinese meal anywhere. The food is plentiful and prepared beautifully. Chinese beer to accompany it and a friendly courteous service. Thank you.

Here on holiday . Ordering easy , delivered on time with good communication from driver, we are at Cala gran so he met us at car park. Good food, sensible prices. Would definitely use again if down this neck of the woods. Keep up the good work.

First time visiting here with some family who have been before. Incredible food with professional and kind service. Quiet corner of Fleetwood and very close to bus and tram stops. Well worth visiting at least once.

Awful customer service, I ordered food nearly 2 hours ago when told the wait would be 40 minutes to 1 hour. I have since rang up to see where the food is and was laughed at down the phone and told the food left the restaurant 25 minutes ago and the driver is on the rounds. 25 minutes after leaving the store is not fresh food!

i ordered salt and pepper chicken and it was really slimy and very disgusting i didnt like it at all it didnt seem like it was cooked properly, i also orderd a j20 it came with a straw that looked dirty anyways moral of the story dont eat chicken from here.

One of the worst meals we have had here in a long time. Understaffed and overrun with customers. The food took ages to come to the table and wasn't good to eat.

4th time here and I’ve got to say it’s fantastic Chinese food, we’ve never had a bad meal. The salt and pepper chicken wings are awesome and they do these fillet steak rolls which are immense. Tried a few mains bloody lovely staff nice and friendly spot on

Husband took me fir a meal out while we were at the north Euston hotel the food is exceptional the staff are knowledgable and friendly , explained the ingredients and said we could leave out what we didn’t like or add things we liked I had pork chi sau was delicious with boiled rice hubby had beef and vegetables and fried noodles he loved them both so much it was our second visit it 5 months and will be back the waiter supported Everton like my husband so they had a bit of a chat thank you all

We get our takeaways here around teatime and it's always lovely ,fresh and hot when delivered.Driver is a nice ,friendly fella too.

This was the only Chinese takeaway we woukd go to, after the past few times its not been the same, sadly i found a few hairs in my salt and chilli chicken (that put me of) the food seems to be rushed and don't seem to get what you ask for I.e lots of spice

Lovely restaurant, setting very authentic setting and no disrespects on all occasions visited there has only ever been the two lovely English guys taking your order and serving the meals and unfortunately we have not incurred any Asian influence as to the running or cooking as to the meals we have ordered or received but I may say we have never received a bad meal but no disrespects to the English guys serving the meals. The overall Chinese/ombience feeling is not there. But I will definitely 1visit again and hopefully there is more Asian influence.

This is a comfortable and friendly Chinese eatery with the full range of dishes you'd expect. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I will go again during my next visit to Fleetwood.

We had a takeaway In Saturday evening,pre-ordered our food ,before 5pm My daughter in law's food excellent plus salt pepper squid and prawns ,. The salt and pepper chips I ordered ,were cold and looked refried , disappointed.

I've had food from here both in the restaurant and takeaway and it is to die for! I absolutely love the mix boxes as a takeaway but the garlic prawns, curry and Contenese crispy beef are the best I've ever had. Staff are brilliant and customer service is second to none.

Have used this Chinese for quite a few years and always had brilliant service and food, so good that we would take half a dozen take away's each home (we live 20 miles from the nearest take away). Went for a meal last night but didn't order the take aways until we had tried the meal as a local in the hotel had told us to avoid as standards had dropped. Thank god we didn't order them as the food was absolutely awful. The staff couldn't care less and didn't know what the dishes consisted of. Small portions (thank god) and expensive. Wont be going again. Avoid like the plague, most the previous reviews are out of date or in the case of the Great Wall's own site, written by local kids who are mates of the staff and wouldn't know a good Chinese from a burger.

Having read some of the recent reviews we were unsure about whether to try the Great Wall. However we thought we'd give it a try and we're glad we did. The atmosphere and service were only about 4 star - but then it was early in the evening. However the food was lovely. Delicious and tender barbecue spare ribs, great beef in black bean sauce and very tasty special curry. The rice was perfectly cooked, light and fluffy. If there had just been a couple more king prawns in the special curry it would have been perfect! I would recommend trying the Great Wall despite the earlier reviews.

Awful! No flavor, just extremely sweet sugar. Small grotty cold chips. Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Totally not recommended

This is our first meal from Great Wall. Ordered easily online, went to collect at allotted time, was greeted by very friendly staff member. Food was first class. Maybe slightly more expensive than some other Chinese in the area but well worth it because you certainly get what you pay for. Will definitely be back there soon.

The food was absolutely horrendous, salty, greasy and the sauces were so conjealed that our fork stood up on its own, sad to say we did not enjoy our meal, we will not order from them again.

The food was not good at all the boiled rice was congealed in a big lump uneatable I was charged three pounds for that so I was not pleased. I ordered Chicken and pineapple and the only nice thing on the plate was the pineapple the carrots and bits of pepper were hard. The staff did not engage with us at all I certainly will not be returning.

Lived here 2 years and what with Covid-19 not had the chance to try the restaurant. Went on Friday evening and what a poor disappointing experience. 2 staff members couldn't have been more disinterested and unhelpful if they tried. Very rude to another table when boss / supervisor wasn't around. No hot plates for food to be placed on when served, when queried, said not available, so food didn't stay hot - what was worse that the dishes ordered were presented on cold plates. The plates we were given for our food, were given to us way before the food, so asked for 2 hot plates when food arrived, - but waiter bought 2 plates on with his hands so clearly weren't hot. Sweet and sour dish was prepared with frozen chicken - how do I know, the chicken was tough and grey. Chicken chow noodles were cooked separately and only put together when served. Small portion of rice. Sooooooo disappointing one!!

We’ve had lovely meals here on past holidays, but this time something went badly wrong in the kitchen. Two bowls of Won Ton soup: one tasted like a whole stock cube had been dissolved in it, the other had no taste at all. Two main dishes: crispy duck in plum sauce wasn’t crispy; lamb in green pepper and black bean sauce was chewy, and the sauce had way too much cornflower in it, making it glutinous and tasteless. Egg fried rice was just bland. I’d love to find there was a crisis and they were doing their best under difficult circumstances; but if there’s a new team in place I’d be very cautious before going back.

Absolutely disgusting customer service by the manager if i could rate no stars i would food undercooked and soggy and when i ring up the manager tells me i cant have a refund i finally manged to get my refund half an hour later after two workers came to check the food and agreed the food was undercooked and soggy also the manager couldnt deal with a customer complaint so instead she says oh my god and passes the phone to one of her workers to deal with it absolutly disgraceful you should be ashamed of yourself

Great food a little pricey but you get what you pay for

For several years during our annual holiday to Blackpool with my wife and my son, we have usually arrived on Fleetwood "Tram Sunday" transport festival. We have always had lunch at the Great Wall, and amazingly, the lovely manageress, Amy, always remembers us even though we visit only once each year. Sadly due to Covid, there was no Blackpool holiday for us last year, and the transport festival was cancelled this year. Accordingly we decided to come for an evening meal to the Great Wall whilst on holiday last week, and as soon as we walked into the restaurant Amy recognised us, even though it was two years since we had last been, and made us feel most welcome. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and is spotlessly clean. Food is very reasonably priced and portions are huge! Hot and Sour soup is the best I have ever had, though I have never been disappointed with anything I have eaten in this lovely restaurant.

We ordered the ‘Celebration Special’ at £25 per head. Every piece of the meal was delicious. Unfortunately my appetite could not unite match the size of the food offered. We actually had to leave some duck and we both love it. The service was polite and efficient. Chinese beer (albeit brewed in Dublin) is on the wine list. We have visited before and hope to again. Well worth a visit.

had a takeaway on our last visit to Fleetwood last year but decided to eat in this time the food A1 we got 3 meals between us thay we're gorgeous I would definitely recommend eating in here no rush to eat just relax and enjoy proper cooked Chinese food the service is as good as the food well worth the 5 stars

Ordered takeout as the restaurant is closed at the moment. We had prawn toast, salt & pepper ribs and salt & pepper chicken wings, King Prawn Schezuan and chicken fried rice. Each dish was good and tasty, nice amount of spice in the Schezuan. Enjoyed...

The last time I ordered food from here was 2018 the ribs I ordered had hardly any stickiness to them and the curry hardly any spice and the service was terrible
