We have just had a takeout delivered. Delivery was excellent and in the time they said. Unfortunately the food was terrible, chicken was processed. Noodles were dry. Really disappointed

Should be no stars. Sat for ten minutes waiting to place drinks order prior to food order. Got up to leave to see a large party, who arrived after us, being served all their drinks. Staff did not even acknowledge our leaving as we passed through the bar area to the exit. Needless to say, will not visit again. Eric Heywoo☹️☹️

We saw this recommended in our holuday let, so thought we would try it. Went on a Saturday night and they were obviously busy, but kindly managed to fibd us a table for 4. We ordered the Set meal for 4, which seemed to havè a lot of dishes we would enjoy. We were really pleased with the tasty food, the selection was fab. The food was hot and enjoyable ( hate cold dishes) and the service was excellent. At less than £25 per head we thought it was very reasonable and value for money. Thanks for a great evening.

A while since my last visit! so, on passing Thursday evening I decided not to cook but to have a take away! I ordered, BBQ ribs, Chicken curry & Egg fried rice. The ribs were tough & dry as if they had been standing a long time then warmed up. The Curry sauce was a taste of curry but a very gloopy sauce, the chicken was very tender but could not eat the sauce. Egg fried rice was ok! sat on the side of the curry so easy to eat. Very very disappointed! Will think twice about returning.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been. Top tier service and the waitress are amazing. He go through the whole menu with me and recommended their best dish. Food taste is always carefully balanced. Any food that I have tried so far was delicious. Be it dimsum, chicken, fish, beef or duck. Service is also great. This place is very much under rated. Been here twice now. It’s was clean and well presentable , but it’s authentic and very reasonably priced. Both times I have been it’s been full of people, so that’s a good sign. Always go where the locals go! There are lot to chose. From on the menu , one is very authentic and offers traditional foods like and is very well priced . I chose the chow mein noodle Cheaper than my takeaway! If you’re not greet food and good speedy and great customer service and want great price decent food- you cannot go wrong here. Parking was easy too Will definitely go back

Everything is absolutely perfect

Only the third time going here, we ordered takeaway over the phone. Read the menu numbers out aswell to make it easier, and confirmed the correct order when she read it back. After collecting, only a 15 min wait on a Saturday evening, and returning home two of the four dishes ordered contained meat. Luckily only round the corner so went back to correct it, took a few mins to explain what was wrong, that we were veggie and ordered veggie things. Apparently the menu numbers don't match up to the new menu so that was pointless. Everything was sorted and the two replacements made, apologies made so that bit was easy enough. Just lost faith in this restaurant now really as I don't think I can trust them to not serve meat dishes again. Bit of a disappointment and £31 for four little dishes was a little pricey. Also just worked out they owe us £3 odd back after the order error but when I asked when I returned they just said it was 35p difference. Food was okay, the vegetarian salt and pepper crispy chicken was very very salty, mixed vegetables in curry sauce did have quite a few different veggies in but again very salty. However the vegetable Singapore style vermicelli noodles were one of the nicest I've had from a takeaway.

Ordered chips, honey ribs, combination starter, curry sauce, shredded chicken & a portion of Singapore rice. Including delivery it came to £45 and was delivered very quickly but unfortunately no free prawn crackers. Food was average, probably won’t order again.

This place has been here for quite a long time and for good reason. Incredibly consistent, food is great. Staff have always been really nice. We’ve ordered takeouts, delivery, dined in, always been good. Probably the best Chinese in Garstang and handy for anyone on the M6 passing by who fancied a Chinese.

I have been here time and time again over the last three years. Nine times out of ten the food is great (hence why I keep coming back). Prices have gone up a fair bit over those three years which I don’t mind because it ensures the quality is being maintained.

We had a takeaway meal but after collection found the price had increased by £2.30 which was due to our menu being out of date! It was their menu on the same week so obviously their prices change frequently

I was very disappointed I had the Dim sum meal ,for 2, it was DRY COLD n Tasteless,cost me 14pound,I rang up to complain and got the phone put down on me, not impressed at all,

I recently went to order some of the vegitarian dishes and was shocked to find out that the vegitarian dishes are fried in the same oil as the meat dishes . I think a disclaimer should be printed on the menu atleast to warn people of this . Surly, this is cross contamination.

Sorry guys but, in my opinion, this is only a 3 star Chinese. We got our usual Saturday night takeaway June 2023. Unfortunately our normal place was closed due to a recent fire. We travelled 20 mins each way to collect this. Reasons for 3 stars - > Expensive compared to other places. > Spent over £50 and no free prawn crackers. Probably the only place I've ever been that don't give free prawn crackers with bigger orders. > Portions were small, especially considering this cost £10 more than our usual place for the same order. Plastic containers were not even full. > Chips tasted re-heated, definitely not fresh. The other food was nice (apart from chips) and the order was ready for the time I requested. Staff also seemed friendly. It's ashame as these are things that could be easily sorted then it's more like a 5-star review.

We got a delivery to bridge house marina last night . I've got to say this place is on another level it was absolutely stunning fresh as you like excellent size portions and the delivery driver was really polite we will definatley be reordering from here if I could I'd give this place a 10

Whilst the restaurant was a little tired and cold, the food was ok. My issue is that after the meal I politely mentioned that the table cloth wasn't clean when I arrived on my table I was told 'dont worry sir it was a clean one but you were the 2nd sitting. That was the grease from the first sitting'! For an owner/ worker to use that as an acceptable explanation without a flicker of remorse concerns me. FYI I would not serve food in my house to guests on a table cloth with grease stains on it. If you find this acceptable I think the restaurant will struggle. Despite this I left a tip as I couldn't be bothered arguing I was with my family and didn't want to sulley the evening for them.

Wow. ,this little gem was great ,on arrival we were taken to our table ,we ordered drinks ,they came very quickly.we had the buffet for 2 ,omg it was fabulous,nice and hot freshly made to order ,the staff are so very nice also this meal cost over £60 well worth it as it was our valentines as the hubby was working .

Ok, so stayed local and after reading reviews for this place decided to order a take away for the 3 of us. The delivery was spot on and bang in time so good start. We ordered a beef curry, Yung chow fried rice, xtra egg fried rice, a portion of salt n pepper chicken wings, portion of salt n pepper chips and a portion of normal chips as well as some curry sauce. All in all this was £36 which was fine from a Restaurant. It was certainly not Restaurant quality. A breakdown is below. The egg fried rice was ok nothing special but it’s egg fried rice. The salt n pepper chicken wings were ridiculously loaded in salt. So much so that we could only manage a couple of them and we do normally love these. The Yung chow fried rice was poor. Considering what should have been a fair mix of pork, chicken and a decent amount of prawns was let down by just ONE prawn in the dish. One prawn is not good enough. The beef curry was very very sweet and tasted like it had been cooked in loads of sugar. The beef itself was nice but the sauce was poor. The chips were definitely frozen chips with zero taste and that included the salt n pepper ones. Sadly won’t try again. This is an honest review

Unfortunately having had a very large number of delivered take always at considerable cost, we ordered this evening and were quoted a seriously inflated delivery cost which I phoned back to query. I was informed that the delivery was set by computer we are less than 3 miles from the base, suddenly the price was decreased by £2 in the back ground I heard another person telling them to tell us to ‘F’ off, I raised the point and said we would be visiting the restaurant to discuss this further but still wanted our food. 1 1/2 hours later the food had not arrived! Hence this very negative review So very disappointing as we have had excellent food and service on st least 8 other occasions! I leave you to draw your own conclusions but we are very, very dissatisfied with our last experience.

We were struggling to find a takeaway that would deliver to our location and found this one. It cost £55 for a meal for 4 people which was mostly inedible. The chicken had that awful gelatinous texture. We can only think that anyone who recommends this place and giving this food good reviews knows nothing about the food industry or has no palate. Shocking, wish we could give zero or minus stars.
