Mister Lee in Wyre

We wanted to try somewhere different from our usual place, now wish we hadn’t..The food was ready for pick up 10 mins from ordering (alarm bells!). Arrived at the takeaway, place smells great. Greeted by some random looking me up and down, not a customer and not very welcoming. Had to remember the full order as no name was taken (luckily ready in 10 mins). The food, spring rolls & crispy wontons tasted like the frozen variety deep fried for authenticity, the sweet and sour sauce is like jelly and tasted soapy. Spare ribs in satay sauce, the sauce is a congealed slime which gets thicker and more slimy as it cools, the meat is tough like it’s been frozen for too long and then reheated/cooked. The vegetable fried rice was greasy and came with small rubbery egg topping. Crispy chicken/beef/prawn meal (hard to tell which was which) was a tough, deep fried, frozen and reheat game of guess what it is. Luckily, a meal was missed off when ordering, which saved me from any further disappointment. I was happy to forget the experience and move on, until the gas the following morning which brought the taste of disappointment flooding back, and urged me to write a review, to help others make sound judgment of where to eat. NOT HERE!

We have tried a few Chinese in fleetwood and blackpool we have just started going to Mister Lees and can I just say I won't need to try no more it's absolutely fabulous food

good takeaway but not value for money as they put the chicken curry in the rice size container,all takeaways use the larger size for the main meal and the smaller for the rice, stopped going as its better value elswhere

The Chinese chef is an old man, and like the old martial arts films when I was a kid, the old master is a master for a reason. This Chinese isn't super consistent, as Fleetwood isn't a busy city where there is a constant busy flow. But when he's on form th food is restaurant quality!

Waiting time for delivery two hours, food containers soaked, dishes not crispy. Crispy mushrooms with vegetables, four pieces of mushrooms, a few bamboo shoots, sprouts, peas in tasteless water... Duck without oriental spices, we didn't like the dishes from this place. I don't give a good review

Slimey , cold and off meat ... i would NOT advise anyone to go there nor shall i please read this review before ordering or going there it was terrible food 🤢🤮🤒🤧🤕

Very friendly gentleman served us. Really polite and our order was promptly.made and served. Very fast and was piping hot. Really great value and great service

Genuinely the nicest takeaway there is, staff always amazing, delivery drivers are fantastic and polite oh and the food is amazing 🤩 highly recommend the salt and pepper garlic chilli chips 🤤

I've been ordering for 4 years now had wee break as the quality of food wasn't that great after sometime. But just couple days ago I said OK let's try again. And tbh I was right to stop ordering. It's even worst then few moths back. The cut the portions down they ha e changed the container for soup for smaller and its not even full. Quality of food when down horribly. Cost more at least 3 quid plus delivery and portions are small. Needed to make sandwich after the meal as I was still hungry and very disappointed. Last time for me.

My first ever visit here ,,,,, and my last ,,,,,,, I ordered vegetarian dishes. And every dish had meat of one type or another ? On driving back with the food , I was told by the Chinese guy it’s my fault ?? Really ,,, as I did inform him all orders I want are vegan and vegetarian and if there’s any animal products or fish products in them please tell me and I’ll not order it ,,, he even read my order back to me before I paid , and he put the notes money into his pocket and gave me change from the till ? , so returning I was blamed that I received the meat dishes ,, I watched him take my wrong foods into the kitchen and I could see the chef picking with his fingers all over my wrong order meals , I also see the Chinese man wipes g the sweat from his brow with his bare hand and then carry on dealing with my order then to prepare other orders and not once washing his hands ? My food eventually came out and after seeing what I did I’m sure the meat was only picked out and the rest re warmed in the wok , and after seeing also his wiping his sweat off his brow and no hair nets or washing hands between preparation of meats etc ,I never ate the meal when. I got home , nor did my family who also don’t eat meat or fish and are vegetarians , vegans ,,, as I told them what happened , so the lot went into the bin, never will I order from this place , AVOID

Have to say the food from this take way was fantastic. I ordered a Mushroom curry with chips and prawn crackers and couldn't have eaten it twice over. my friends son chose a plain Chicken Curry and thoroughly enjoyed it, was just hot enough without blowing his head off. My friends shared a sweet and sour Chicken (Cantonese style) and a chicken Chow Mein and both said they had never eaten such nice Chinese Food!! well done Mister Lee's, keep it up!!

Really nice take-away. We had a mixture of Sweet & Sour King Prawn (Cantonese style), Chow Mein, Beef with Mixed Veg, Chicken fried rice, Spring Rolls and a Thai Red Curry which was really excellent. Portion sizes are generous, and very reasonably priced. Will be back. One thing. Mister Lee`s is CASH ONLY. No cards accepted!

Slow service and the food didn't warrant the wait as it was a bit on the salty side. Perhaps on a different it would be better?

Best special foo young in town. I know because I have tried them all. Cant speak about other food because I haven't tried.

Very poor and rude customer service, food was SO salty was DISGUSTING prices are extortionate !! £12 for a tiny tiny tub of salt and pepper chicken that could probably give u a heart attack because of the amount of salt on it !! Where as there are other takeaways in Fleetwood that do really jive salt and pepper chicken for £4.50 !! They’re bigger portions aswell !!! I feel robbed will not be going to this takeaway ever again and I definitely would NOT recommend this take away !!

I go here often and the food is banging all the time I always have some left over for the next day, prices are ok I suppose but there are cheeper places to get Chinese. over all I love it here the food is great and ive never been disappointed.

Here on holiday with my family just had excellent food and service from here it was delicious I would definitely recommend 👍

attended this place for the first time, I liked all the food, there was plenty of it, very well cooked and presented, the ribs were so good, I am going bac again. I have worked in many Chinese takeaways and this seemed clean tidy with woks going and the food hot hot, hot. The tast was very good, I had as ALWAYS SPECAIL CURRY SPECAIL FRIED RICE AND THERE WAS PLENTY OF BODY IN IT, the ribs no bone they just fell apart in my mouth, I know how this food is cooked and it is just not possible for duck ribs and any food like that not to be cooked due the how its made. This is going to be my secret treat once a month, just a pity not every day,

Used this takeaway a few times now. We had a large meal for 6 on New Years Eve and the food was ready very quickly and was lovely. I had chicken fried rice and prawn toast, no complaints what so ever

Great food great prices my fave Chinese takeaway in Fleetwood. The salt and pepper chicken is beautiful. As is most the food. Food is always hot and fresh too staff are lovely.

Spotlessly clean ,view of the kitchen,very pleasant staff,extremely quick with the orders,good english spoken,very good value,terrific menue,the best meals i have had ina long time,use it regular,never been disapointed.

I ordered the salt and chilli starter. All the food was stuck together- nothing was crispy. It was soggy. I bit into the chicken, and the chicken was red raw. I took the food back and the owner got really angry and refused me a refund. I will never go back there again.

Used to be the best chinese around here but its gone downhill since being took over, average chinese if they delivered it would make you appreciate it abit more but you have to trek for standard food no thanks

New owners not so long ago, pleasant enough people so we returned to try the food. Went a few times, but the standard seems to be getting worse. Had a starter of chicken wings ( burnt on the bottom ) . Also 'Chilli beef'. it was impossible to tell what this deep fried giunk was, as it had a bad aftertaste of stale fat !. I complained and they refunded my money Never again...avoid !

I go out of my way to go to this Chinese. The food is all freshly prepare with fresh ingredients while you wait. The portions are excellent size. I ask for little oil as I am on a diet and the serving is never greasy. Authentic Chinese . The premises are basic but this is reflected in the price.

We were on holiday near Fleetwood and decided on some take out chinese for dinner. It was a little late and hard to find one open. We came across Mister Lee's by chance and went inside to order. The desk assistant was helpful.We ordered and were so pleasantly surprised at how authentic the food was. We are quite picky with our Asian cuisine. Flavours were clean and each dish had its own distinct flavour - not just regurgitated sauces! and very pleased the portions were not overfilled with onions!!! So all in all a good find! Pity we don't live here, as we are still hunting for our 'favourite' Chinese where we live! - This would have won us over back home! One negative point to mention, what has happened to good ol' chopsticks? They dont do chopsticks at this chinese restaurant!!! ..a small price to pay.. We noticed 2 other customers ordering salt and chilli chips.. not our cup of tea.. but obviously a favourite for locals!

No hubiera sido por un tiempo por culpa de ellos cerradas por la noche principal quiero una comida para llevar. Esta visita tenía 3 comidas, 1 arroz frito, 1 curry, 1 Chop suey. Todos los pobre contenido de carne, especialmente el curry de pollo. Personal por teléfono y en la tienda bastante agradable, pero la comida que cuenta y si esto es lo que sirven, no te decepcionará. Creo que hay un lugar "a comer al otro lado de la carretera que se beneficia de esto, también porque abren hasta tarde y entregar, y no cerca del martes como el Sr. Lees?

Me encanta este lugar ... Luego se tomada ... La comida es de mala calidad. Yo solía disfrutar langostinos en Chile y ajo, fueron levemente maltratada y el sabor era precioso ... Eso fue entonces! El panecillo soso basura cubierto muy gruesos en pasta! Sinceramente, si no ha sido un fuego mientras yo estaba esperando para mi comida! que habría tenido que volver! Entré en esta noche y era más frías en que fuera ... Pedí y pensé que iba a sentarme en mi coche para mantenerse caliente ... Mientras miraba a la cocina a la derecha ( puede ser frigobar) el techo había llamas saliendo ... Claramente no tenía idea de cómo manejar la situación!! No preocupación para mí como un cliente que acabo de toallas pequeñas de té y traté de sacaba!! Cuando el penny cayó! Eso no iba a funcionar el extintor de fuego, mientras que 1 operó para abrir la puerta trasera!! Aún así no preocupación para un cliente!! Me pareció que era tiempo he dicho algo ( anillo la sangrienta bomberos ) lo que me alarma despertador no tan venirme a mis oídos! No tienen alarmas de humo!! Si la comida no te mata, entonces la incompetencia se ... Evitar a toda costa!

La comida aquí es aceptable, el lugar es limpio, pero simplemente no necesariamente la mejor relación calidad-precio en comida para llevar locales. Algunas las porciones son más bien pequeñas, pero el real de poner fue cuando pedí una 'más caliente' curry y querían cobrarme 'extra' para la spice!!. Nunca había oído hablar de esto por ninguna parte, así que no nos volveremos ... extraña práctica, creo que, a menos que sea justo después del ordeño la banda

this is the Chinese takeaway i always use - the food is delicious and ive never had a bad experience - definitely recommend the salt and chilli chips, and the crispy shredded beef. highly recommended - its always busy when i go to collect, which is a good indication that the food is good

this is ok for a take away only used this place once in 9 years as i prefer another takeaway which is a little closer to me but this is ok
